If someone wish to discuss whether people X is actually person Y, they should bring detailed technical/scientific analysis (such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_re-identification).

Brilliant idea. Let's create a thread for every user: "Is theymos xyz".

I would rather not see modification of thread "Is Satoshi Nakamoto actually [username X or people Y]?"

Before

In an anonymous place you can create any imaginary character and can build up a reputation. I always spotted Lauda as a feminine character and theymos as a male.

theymos and Lauda is the same person will be interesting (not saying they are). Having such a level of intellectual, theymos can easily create a character of his own which could be disconnected from his real theymos account.

After

What were we talking about? :-D

If you've ever read the disrespectful way that the person that goes by the dubious user profile name "Lauda" trash talks about women (both specific women and women in general), then you'll be under no illusions that "Lauda" is in fact a man.
What if Lauda is both man and woman?

Just think about it... If Lauda were Theymos then Theymos could pretty much have it both ways: be laissez-faire libertarian and iron-fisted totalitarian at the same time.

What few have considered is that both Theymos and Lauda aren't actually people. They are, for lack of a better term, "AI" that spawned contemporaneously with the Bitcoin Genesis Block. The AI itself is the product of a technological evolution that has roots in Ancient Egypt, when the secrets of the pyramids were first uncovered.

What I'm basically saying is that Bitcoin was created by aliens.

Somebody asked me to explain it the other day; it's complicated but I gave it my best go:

"Bitcoin was actually made by ancient aliens, left for us to uncover as a species in the information age."

Would like to hear some more theories on this.  Cool

Sure. The basic code architecture for Bitcoin has been cleverly embedded in the evolution of technology since the dawn of civilization. So in a way, "Satoshi" (that's the name we give to "him" because our brains can't actually comprehend the powers behind Bitcoin) has been sending us messages for thousands of years.

After the ancient Egyptians uncovered the secrets of the pyramids (which are obviously abandoned alien space ships), the blueprint for Bitcoin was unknowingly revealed - its design set into motion - triggering an age of scientific development that ultimately culminated in the formation of the Genesis Block and the birth of the Bitcoin Network.

It's so clear -- in retrospect we should have seen it all along.

So there you have it. Bitcoin self-spawned out of the digital aether, along with Satoshi, Theymos and Lauda.

But I don't think y'all are ready for this.

Now look straight ahead for a moment, please.

dumb trolling

Evidently, you do not actually know any actual real-life women.

Lool nullius!!! That sentence would deserve itself a 50 merits bomb, but if I'd do it I'd be accused of merit abuse =))) I almost spilled my coffee when I read that!

If "Lauda" is indeed "theymos" then "theymos" is guilty of plagerism (and by extension ban evasion).

You misspelled “plagiarism”.

I was about to say that too. Timelord, the "grammar nazi", the one always correcting others, spelled "plagerism"... That's ironic, isn't it? Smiley

Stop making up defamatory FUD.

Seriously... what did you expect from the old, imbecile, mentally disturbed troll...? Did you expect anything else...? Did anyone expect anything else? Smiley

Theymos & cats are never the same let alone one Alt, who knows the authenticity of Lauda is an old woman or transgender and grandfather, maybe he's a witch. Vain.

People have their own reasons for retiring on forums, wasted time, not sure someone can make a giraffe like a camel.
Both of them are almost the same as giraffes and camels, one has shoulders and the other has no shoulders, let Lauda deepen his magic for the next generation.

Odd timing, this.  I was preparing to post something Lauda-related; but it is not yet ready, and probably won’t be for awhile.

I've heard Theymos refer to Lauda as "he" before, and Theymos probably knows what gender Lauda is.

theymos does not know.

By the way, I thought that your theory was that I am Lauda’s alt.

Does anyone think nullius is an alt of Lauda?  I always harbored a suspicion about that based on their style of writing and high level of knowledge of crypto, but having a suspicion isn't evidence of anything.

It’s not the first time that has happened.  By the transitive property, does this mean that I am theymos?

nullius is lauda. That is very clear. Anyone who does not see this is simply closing their eyes.

N.b. that Quickseller has also been accused of being a theymos alt.

And I think, that would be crazy, allowing " to hail her as a queen " even though you're a masculine,

Either way, Lauda never interfered with people’s guesses.

You misspelled “plagiarism”.  Furthermore, Lauda was banned on her own request, as you well know.  Stop making up defamatory FUD.  Quoted here so that you don’t mislead n00bs:

I will request that theymos ban the "Lauda" account (u=101872)

Done. Lauda is banned in the same way as satoshi, such that it isn't possible to even log into the account anymore.

There are quite a number of languages where genre is "neutral" in normal talk - there's no different word for he and she - first one coming into my mind being Hungarian.

All Indo-European languages are gendered.  (Hungarian is not an Indo-European language.)  However, in languages that lack an explicit neuter (or where that is inappropriate), generic “he” is generally the default for unknown cases.

So what you're telling makes me think that Theymos' mother tongue could be one of those, instead of thinking he's Lauda.

My guess is that theymos’ mother tongue is probably English.

I was not sure if the post was made for the lulz or if it was serious.

Can’t be serious.

I think OP noticed this curious statement of nutildah:

I'm not sure what I can do to top that. We'll see what my "theymos is actually lauda" investigation brings forward.

Which, to be honest, intrigued me too. I thought there was a topic started by nutildah on this matter, but I didn't see any. I was not sure if the post was made for the lulz or if it was serious. And now I actually found a topic, but it isn't nutildah's Smiley In any case, I think that only nutildah can bring some more light about this investigation (which I tend to believe it is for fun purposes anyway).

I mean... you could have asked that user you saw talking about this if they have proof, which they don't, end of story.
Not asking for proof is a good thing for people who wants to post things that will rile up attention and it is better to point fingers and accuse rather than find proof so pretty understandable that people think that @theymos and @Lauda is the same person.
Brilliant idea. Let's create a thread for every user: "Is theymos xyz".
Don't tempt me to do this because I will accuse every DT as @theymos to be safe haha.

It is unknown whether Lauda is male or female, or what age Lauda was.  I say “she”, because I think that Lauda had feminine behaviour.  But she refused to disclose all such information, for reason of privacy.  I myself asked her many personal questions.  All that she would say was, “I’m a cat.”
And I think she really is, as on the way she speaks with me in TG the last time when marlboroza and I had issues...
And I think, that would be crazy, allowing " to hail her as a queen " even though you're a masculine, wait, does that mean Lauda is a Gay? Nevermind,... 🤥🤥🤥 In my end , I do, too believe  Lauda is indeed a "she".

I am way ahead of you.  Long ago, I posted absolute PROOF that theymos is Lauda:

because the trail leads all the way to theymos, who calculates forum Virtue metrics (based on the very name of Lauda) for the purpose of enforcing an “upright, God-fearing community which will suffer no witchcraft or other heresy”.  Surely, theymos has read the Bible...  What the Hell kind of SCAM is this forum, with an administrator who runs scores (if not thousands) of sockpuppet accounts!?

Meow.

Would theymos meow, if he were not Lauda?  Huh

The fact that Lauda-theymos didn’t delete that from a heavily-censored thread furthermore constitutes an admission.

I recently saw one of the users talk about this. So I spent all day today looking for this information but mostly unsuccessfully. Does anyone have an argument for this? And it was a surprise for me today to find out that Lauda is a woman in her 40s.   Kiss

Most definitely not. theymos has been in the scene for far more long than lauda ever has/was. Also theymos's info is more public than lauda's ever has. You will know the difference when you google theymos[1] and lauda [2].

Free advice: don't bother wasting time on figuring out who lauda is. People have tried more harder than you think and have ended up with nothing.

And no, I don't think those two are the same person.  I'm starting to think Foxpup is Theymos, actually--don't ask me why; it could be that I've had a nitrous oxide leak in my house.  I never rule out that possibility when I get strange associations.
