Well, I would not say investing in bitcoin now won't be a good step because bitcoin is yet to get to its brim but I will rather want to look at altcoin. Getting a very nice altcoin is an advantage because I foresee a new year's gift on aitcoins.

Yes, I think it will be same in the future. Some person will say that price in 2017 was low, like it is for us when we see prices from years before this. But i think that we shouldn't dwell in the past, what happened happened. But I think that it is never to late to join Bitcoin community and start trading, or just holding. What ever you decide to do it is not bad decision, as long as you don't decide to not get involved in Bitcoin world. Tongue

This is just the start. It is not yet too late, don't regret that you didn't invest in bitcoin in the past. Many of us also felt that way but we cannot do anything other than do our best to earn more than 1 bitcoin today. Work for bitcoin and you will not regret it someday.

Its not too late (yet!). Dollar cost average your buys every week or month (depending on your payment frequency) and you will be able to see some profits in the upcoming years (but also be aware that you can lose it all, so only invest what you can afford to lose in case bitcoin suddenly crashes)

I understand the frustration of OP that it is now not possible to buy bitcoin at this price. But regret the past is stupid. You better think about that in that time people sold a few bitcoins and earning them was a few dollars. This year, those who had 1 bitcoin in the beginning of the year and sold it today earned $ 5,000. I think that people from the past would be you.

Lol if you look at the trading platform, buying bitcoin is very active.  This only means that it is still possible to buy bitcoin, probably not a whole but a part of bitcoin is still bitcoin.  And it is still not late.  Bitcoin is still at the early stage of adoption.  Merchants have not yet fully settled on accepting bitcoin as their payment, just you wait until this merchants have come to the scene and tell yourself if its still late to buy bitcoin today or not.

It is never too late to get bitcoin, people are always discouraged to get strated on erning bitcoin eitheir they look at its price and think how the hell are they going to aford it, or they start off earning a small amount that is not worth the time, and the thing is you must be paitent with bitcoin you start off at a small amount and gradually you earn more, and just a tip if you think you can't earn that much from bitcoin you can try mining other altcoins and then exchaniging it.

You are not late at all, remember that bitcoin is a deflationary currency so the ride is still going up. Try to invest in it asap; diversify your funds to some altcoins because you might never know if some altcoin right now might end up like bitcoin.

i just check old posts in Currency exchange and Found how bitcoin was so cheap at 2011

Example

this User ask for 32$ only to sell 2BTC

2.00 BTC for sale - $32 USD (MTGOX PRICE is 16.68)

Only trusted members with reputation!

So are you think time now is too late  or some one in future will say how price was cheap in 2017 like my post

Shear what you think Huh

it is not too late bitcoin value will continue to rise but the risk is also high. in recent years bitcoin have proven us that it can survive hardship and can rise from any problem so better buy now that fell sorry later.
Yes its not too late to invest in bitcoin. The important matter is if you will take the risks in investing bitcoin at this current price. For me, I still invest in bitcoin because I can see its value will soaring high still in the upcoming months/years.
you are right still its not late because bitcoin is a fast developing digital currency and there are maximum chances that the price of bitcoin may rise in the future so it’s not late yet if you want to buy bitcoin than you should not waste your time any more in waiting for the opportune moment. I think it is the opportune moment for you.

Now happing of that has got many chances. Like you said it was cheap in 2011 and there will be someone from the future who will quote your post and will see it was cheaper in 2017. Yup thats gonna happen once again. Look at the market now its over 6000 USD and and now its even easier for bitcoin to capture the bigger market because more investors are trusting the bitcoin market and thats why it is increasing in its market capitalism a lot. In the period of three to five years from now the case will grow to 5-10 folds and can give us bitcoin price of 10-20K easily. So lets invest and I'm sure its not too late for the bitcoin investment.

$16 for 1 Bitcoin, that's really cheap but we also had some people having this opinion at that time,

10) Last but not least, who the hell is stupid enough to pay $5.00 now for a bitcoin?

I am sure this person would be laughing at his own post now if he is reading this.

Anyways, it all depends on the demand and supply and we had a great demand and supply over the years for Bitcoin which gave a rock solid boost to the price of it. I know, it is irrational to predict anything concrete considering the past performance but we can always predict the possibility of the future growth by analysing the past and current trend. I believe that with some major long-lasting price corrections, Bitcoin will perform very well in the long run.

Market cap is the only thing you need to be aware of. Supply/Demand for BTC and nothing else.
$6000 is just a number, BTC could rise to $50k one day if there is the demand for it, simple.
So to answer your question, I do not think 6k is too expensive, but yeah buying in 2001 would make you rich today, cannot deny that  Smiley

A year ago the Bitcoin price was between $600 to $1000 and everyone was asking this question. A year later and the Bitcoin

price broke through the $6000 mark. This is a remarkable 600%+ profit on something that you bought 1 year ago. How many

people can say that with any other investment? Bitcoin is still a high risk investment and you should not go ALL IN. Just invest

whatever you can afford to lose, nothing more.  Wink

Bitcoin this year has shown us his ability to adapt to bad news and steadily to overcome the bifurcation. If we see that bitcoin can change their properties in order to remain a leader in the cryptocurrency market will be safe to say that he has a good future. I hope that the miners will find a common language with the developers and users will see the updated bitcoin.

In the last what you told is correct that in 2022 when you will see the bitcoin price of 2017 you will tell that it was cheap as any time is a good buy time, last week bitcoin price was near 5400+ that time also every one is asking whether to buy or not and today you can see the price jumped to 6100+ price and still this price is also cheap as in future their is no price high calculation means no one can tell which is the last high price as it will go on jump to more next all time high price everyday.

Indeed a really nice post quoted in the previous page:

I would not mind if they were in the $5 range...I think bitcoins have been overpriced for a while.  Look at the run it has had this year.  When CNN and Foxnews puts you on, you become popular.  Unfortunately, the DDoS, hacks, massive sell in June, and recession striking the world have had an impact.  While I think bitcoin has its place...I don't think its place is $15.  I am thinking $8 or so now with MARGINAL increases...not massive ones.

And even if you refer to last years prices, it was going very well.

You can search the forum, but predictions are as low as $10,000 to up to far over $100,000 per bitcoin in only a few years from now.

Ofcourse it can be the final ATH right now, when everybody looses faith in bitcoin, but I do think there is a bright future for both bitcoin and several altcoins (like ethereum for example). So no, it is not too late.
