It all depends on the user as for me I have been using trustapp wallet for long and I have no issues with it or any hack on it but I will tell you if holding for short-term or long term I don't suggest you should used trustwallet rather look for Offline wallet and hardware wallet is more better.
I believe trust is just to store temporary after which you can moved to the final destination.

Everything is hackable and there are too many factors on how it will be hacked. Trustwallet is just an app and for it to be safe will always play on the owner to be honest, let's say 80% of hacks on any wallets can be traced onto the owner's hand, may it because of carelessness or someone really wanted to exploit you but still your responsibility if you let them know especially if you don't know how to safeguard your wallets or your identity.
The main factor because carelessness is the cause of wallet hacking, if we save the mnemonic phrase on an external device and protect the PC from viruses, then it is possible that no one can hack the wallet from the trustwallet or metamask. I have been using metamask and trustwallet for several years and there is no hacking history even though I have kept assets in the wallet till now.

There are many cryptocurrency wallet softwares like metamask, trustwallet. I'm currently using Trustwallet to store my cryptocurrencies. I heard some people say that it can be hacked!
Can people hack my trustwallet?
Is it safe?
How to protect my trustwallet account?
Thanks in advance ♡

Just want to tell you a my story, Trust wallets are safe if you store seeds in paper and don't save the private key in the smartphone file. i lost 200 USD because I save seed/private key on google drive.

As I wrote above, you can use a hardware wallet like Safepal to avoid the risk of being hacked.

If you want to use trust wallet you must be careful of the links you click on your phone, it's safer to buy tokens and coins then send to the address of your trust wallet instead of connecting your trust wallet to any Dex, truth be told a hardware wallet is more safer but the best hot wallet is trust wallet.
Yes never link your main wallet to anything. If we are airdrop hunters then it is better if we use a special wallet to participate in airdrops. Because it is very risky if we use only one wallet for various types of transactions, including airdrops. I myself use a custom wallet for my main wallet, and create another wallet if I want to link. This is one way to avoid scammers.

Crypto wallet security is critical for storing and investing in cryptocurrency all crypto users and investors must secure their funds cryptocurrency is coveted by cybercriminals combining the difficulty of tying crypto transactions to real world identities with blockchain's irreversibility makes digital currencies an attractive target for hackers , hackers have stolen billions of dollars in cryptocurrency in the past 12 years You should apply crypto wallet safety procedures to ensure your crypto is secure first never store your recovery phrase online in a phot gallery or in instagram or other photo apps if you download Trust wallet your crypto will be stored in one of the safest wallets in the world. i think trust wallet safe other then.

Trust Wallet.. Seems like a bit secure as its the decentralized hot storage it's far more secure and preferred then the centralized Exchange wallet y, Be very careful while choosing the wallet because all of your assets are going to be relay on the Wallet. So dear I cant give my words but according to my knowledge until your key is secure you funds are secure rest is a long story.

From 50% of the population of Bitcoin users still use Trust Wallet in storing their funds to make it easier for transactions, because the use of the Trust Wallet Wallet is very simple and easy for people to use, that's why most people don't want to have a wallet that is too complicated to use, With the Trust Wallet, everyone is easy to do things when they are outside or on the streets, we can still access them through applications that are already available on the Playstore...

I think it's more than 50%, Binance acquired trust wallet and increase the reputation of the mobile wallet, few years ago after trust wallet launched they weren't as popular as they're now. Trust wallet has constantly improved, before now to access decentralized applications you have to use a laptop as only metamask was compatible with those sites but with trust wallets you can now use your mobile to access this platforms and carryout transactions without any discomfort.
Among all mobile wallets provided, I think trust wallet has to be in the top 5 and it isn't the last. There's hardly more than 3 better mobile wallets that can be compared to that of trust wallet when it comes to storing of your altcoins.

I've personally used trust wallet for over a year now and haven't had any issues with it. From my experience, trust wallet is safe, but you need to understand that it's an online wallet and it would be unwise to keep substantial amount of assets in an online wallet. It's best to go with a hard wallet like ledger or paper wallet when storing substantial amount to prevent the issue of hack.

To further buttress my point. I doubt my asset is up to 0.001btc, so hackers may be wasting their time trying to compromise my wallet, because it's not worth their time and effort. When I have over 1btc, I'll most likely be using a hardware wallet and if it gets to 100btc, I'll be going for a paper wallet or any other offline wallet.

Sometimes shady websites asking to log in with our wallet and one of them we can use trust wallet to login, I once tried to log in to my trust wallet to non trusted website and there was some message I got from trustwallet to not login from a shady website from there I didn't try to login anymore. Be careful when we login our wallet to some website cause they can steal the information.

In my opinion, it can be able to save multi coins is the added value of trust wallets that are not owned by other wallets, and in terms of security, I think trust wallets are very good and safe because I have used more than 2 years and there is no problem, and now then the wallet is growing.

We all know that Trustwallet is a popular wallet. This wallet is currently used by many investors. And all currencies are safe here. This wallet is very strong and their security systems are safe. I think using this wallet to enjoy all kinds of facilities plays a maximum role in transactions. So trustwallet is a trusted wallet for investors.
I agree with you. Trustwallet is a very popular wallet.  Everyone is using this wallet now. But I have been using Trustwallet for a few days now. I feel very good using it. I feel it is very safe. However, I can transact very easily through it and get many other benefits. Trustwallet is complete.  Safe I think.
Talking about Trust Wallet, there is no doubt that this wallet is one of the most popular,
many have used it and are satisfied with its features and security,
and so far I'm using it also no problem

Trust wallet is safe if you keep the recovery seed offline and if you stay away from airdrops and too good to be true offers on the web, avoid clicking links that you get through emails too, they aren't safe, I haven't heard about hacks or loss of fund on trust wallet but still one needs to be extra careful.
Right, the problem is so many newbies are not even learning from their past experience. These newbies are blatantly connecting their wallet to the any of dapps which was increasing the chance for them to be scammed.
I just tell you about the truth if trust wallet was safe but the people itself who have been making it become unsafe
Agreed. We have seen people complaining about other wallets too which means that they mostly connect their wallets to every form of giveaway site they see. People should be wise enough now to stay away from all foreign links like that or better still have a separate wallet for your crypto adventure if you really feel the need to. I believe trust wallet is safe too, I use it and not having any issues with it as long as you follow the rule of safe gauding your wallet.

I think Trustwallet is a good and safe wallet, I've been using it for about 2 years after I was hacked on Google Metamask, after the hack I have now moved 80% of my assets to Metamask, even when I was trading on pancake swap and never logged out almost 3 months everything is safe.
if I were you I will surely give up to use software wallet anymore. maybe still can if I reinstall my PC with a fresh Operating system because you have been injected. whatever software wallet do you use, still you will injected for not now, but later, believe me, you have carefull.

You was not careful with your metamusk wallet so you wallet was hcked. Trust wallet alse can be hack by different way. using any software wallet you must have to use carefully. you can use trust wallet for your own, it is totally your wish but i can say trust wallet not 100% safe and secure. no one Guaranteed it that trust wallet is 100% safe.

Can people hack my trustwallet?

Any wallet can be hacked, and that includes trust wallet, if you expose your seed phrase or private keys to Hackers by means of clicking and connecting to a phishing website, or by storing it online or not keeping it in a safe place.

Is it safe?

I have been using trust wallet for years now since its one of the near wallets around that provide easy storage, sending and receiving of altcoins, but i must admit that there are better options in wallet market, trust wallet is not open source, and that is one of its downsides, many investors don't really trust or rely on wallets that are not open source.

How to protect my trustwallet account?
Keep your wallet details to your self alone, like private keys, seed phrases, keep it all to yourself alone, avoid connecting to phishing links, do not store your seed or private key online.... This are rhe simple ways to protect your wallet, any wallet, not just trust wallet alone.

Isn't it obvious OP? I mean just look at its name. There's already a "trust" word in it hehe but seriously for me, trustwallet is truly a safe wallet because I've never experienced to get hacked on using it and I've been using it for a couple of years already.

I think this wallet is also related to binance so we are ensure that they are secure. Hacks usually can happen not because of the wallet but because of the actions made by the wallet users. I suggest read more topics about how to secure your crypto wallet and what things you should avoid to possibly avoid the hack. Metamask is also like trustwallet in terms of reputation but only make sure to check if what you're downloading is original.

There are definitely reasons behind a particular wallet being hacked. And when those things are followed with caution then the probability of hacking is greatly reduced. About three years ago due to carelessness, I saw the wallet of someone I know being hacked where his phrase key was stolen and later almost all the transferable assets taken by the scammers. Here I think it is not easy to hack a user's wallet if the users to be careful.

The concept remains the same, everything related to online can be hacked, Trustwallet also has several cases of hackers being carried out by irresponsible people, if you say safe maybe not completely. You can use Trustwallet, but it is not recommended to store large amounts of coins, even though there are keys and phrases stored, but also not able to be categorized as safe.
