First of all it's a not good reason to buy a coin less that a dollar. There are some genuine coins in the market less than a dollar as well as higher than a dollar. To decide which coin to buy, should have a lot of skills & understanding about the new ICOs. As of now most of good coins are less than a dollar & you no need to buy many coins to get profit. Meantime most top 10 or 15 coins are less than a dollar & positioning in a good buy point. You should aware that to buy in the correct time in order to get maximum profit & hold for long term to book  your profit. Do not act with market fluctuations & always holding for long term could take you to a new level.

What's your opinion on buying new emerging coins that are not yet on top and cost less than 1 dollar?
How do you decide whether they have potential to grow or not?

Coins under $1 are best for long term HODLing. With a few hundred $ you can accumulate thousands of them and just go to sleep!

In the long run, a single one of these coins have the potential to generate returns enough to recoup your entire investment. I usually advise noobs to just spread a few hundreds over a few coins less than $1 or even from $0.10 downward.

Cheers

If I were you, I wouldn't do that, think it's not worth to buy such cheap coins.
On the other hand, many would probably say that Bitcoin started on similar value and the value today can't be compared with that it first appeared.
Still, I beleive that Bitcoin is realy special case, maybe once in a lifetime and that will not happen any time soon, although many coins tend to be new Bitcoin.

Investor who starts speculating in this market with small capital, naturally he will look for promising coins or tokens with very low prices and buy as much as possible and then wait for a big jump for the price of this coins in order to earn a big profit .. The high price coins will not be worthwhile in such this case ..

In the past, people used to think coins under $ 1 were not worth buying, but considering the current situation, buying becomes a natural tendency to an incredible degree. Maybe depending on the value of the product. You should buy them before it's too late

In my opinion yes, the low satoshi coins can jump faster and make a bigger profit in a quicker timeframe, but same as that they can drop faster and make you lose money. Noone can tell you invest in this or invest in that, if you want to invest always make your own research, get familiar with the project, read the whitepaper and infiltrate yourself into their community, the community knows more about the project and the investment timing than anyone, but you can get that information only if you understand the project and ask indirectly about the goals that could be achieved in a quick timeframe. Many announcements go out every week, read them and you will get a slight idea when its time to invest, and again discuss your opinion with the community

Having the potential to grow or not depends on the coin developer and market, for me now it is very risky if you buy coins only because the value of the coin is below $ 1 or above, we better focus on how we analyze the coin, and conclude how future value based on the cryptocurrency market and the volume they have.
I really agree with your opinion, if you just see the coin price below $ 1 and then interested in buying it, it's a big mistake, a good potential crypto coin is not seen from the price, but how the coin team is to make changes to the global community through the platform his

A coin being less than one dollar does not guarantee that it would do well. What matters mostly for these coins is the developers. You need to be sure that its a great team and they are constantly working before you invest into their coin

It really depends on the coins. There are coins that have high potential to be in demand in the future that would be a giod investment. It would be good to evaluate its current value for the past months. See how did that coin fair in the market. If you see relevant increase then that is a good sign.

when talking about the value of crypto coins in the future, I divide into the current coin trading and coin invest. Coin trading is usually one that can provide maximum profit in the short term with a good margin value and is usually very volatile every day
It seems to me that profit can vary not only from the price of coins, but also from their quantity. But this is the question, the price of a 1 dollar coin is quite acceptable.
You can invest in any coin irrespective of its prices only if the project behind the coin is good and it has a great technology. In the start, when ETH was launched, the price was very low but it grew very quickly and more and more people started buying Eth because it had a great potential and ETH showed it by capturing the second highest market cap in the crypto world. SO invest in any asset as long as you can earn.

I study the product itself, how useful and valuable it will be to the crypto community. Then I look how much the team is implementing this product. What investments, partnerships are behind the product. And after that I already decide whether to buy this token or not
I think, it used to be that many people thought that tokens that had prices below 1 $ were not worth buying. but, for now I think that is a natural thing, depending on the type of product that the coin produces. the coin will have a high price depending on its usefulness, so I think it's quite natural.

I still remember when the NPXS coin ICO was around 0.0021 USD.
Then the price went up to 0.0040 USD and it was a perfect achievement because I had a very good profit.

In terms of maximizing profits, Yes for me. This coins and tokens are hot in my radar. The lower the better yet with proper research and updating, in fact i don't  focus to trade for primary or well known coins I'm more confident to trade for new one yet solid in developments.

I think it's really good to buy coins for under $ 1 but we should also be more careful to check the potential of the coins we want to buy.

It may or may not be Worth buying coins under 1 dollar. The coins may improve substantially and consistently. In such case, the individual will definitely earn profits from early investment.
In the other way round, not all coins introduced into the market may grow their values. The fact that we need cryptocurrency market to grow does not mean that a lot of coins should be introduced into the market. An introduction of a new coin does not guarantee that the coin will be worth investing or profitable so there is a risk involved in buying new coins or coins under a dollar.

Depends on your choice. There are some good coins under 1$ that you have to buy for long term. They have the tendency to grow with time.

Look at the market cap. It's the supply * the price. That's how you will decide.

Then find similar projects/coins who have a similar market cap. For example, if you found out about $KCS or $BIX, you could compare those to $BNB and factor in the use cases for those coins to give you an idea if it's undervalued or overvalued.

I think so, specially if the coins we will buy is popular and have a good future, just like buying ripple the value of it is under $1 but a lot of  peope is prefer to invest there money on it because it is always on top 10 cryptos.
