Topic: Is YOBIT scam? my account is freezed (Read 211 times)

Appreciate you for giving information about this Yobit thing. because after all, information like this, of course, is needed so as not to repeat it for others. the next question is why is there no more information about this and what is the next action? because the deadline for the first post is more than one year so there can be changes that are also very much needed. obviously more information is needed.
honestly, I don't know clearly about this Yobit, because I have never used it.

ive also got this and they ignore my tickets read em and close em and dominik wont answer me in troll box he speak around me and ignores me yobit is a bunch of fucking scammers and i will do my best to let everyone know

I'd probably not respond to anyone that is claiming to be yobit. In this instance he is also asking you for 0.001 BTC in order to restore your account. To my knowledge, yobit simply does not ask for money in return of unlocking one's account. Nobody has successfully done that. Even the person that replied to OP was merely asking for a donation, which is completely optional.

Almost of these people asking for money when your account is locked are most likely scammers posing as yobit, trying to get you to send over your savings. Unless you can verify that it's actually yobit, and it is compulsory (not a tip), then send it.

Apparently you self-locked your account, whether you actually did it or not. If you received the same message as OP, then simply respond with the requested details. Although there are no guarantees when this will be sorted out.

Did you just wake up from a yearlong hibernation? Yobit has been doing this for ages. There are hundreds if not thousands of scam accusations and complaints here. A simple search will give you enough reading material to read for weeks.


That part, if true, sounds like a ruthless scam. It's almost like extortion (or it probably is). It sounds like saying thanks and paying the fee is not optional. It's in fact required! You paid 0.0001 BTC and you are then reminded to say thanks and pay 0.001 BTC. That's audacity at it's worst.

I am a user of Yobit.
I have a big issue. my account is freezed suddenly even i didn't do anything
When i logged in it just appered "Your account is freezed. Access to some actions is limited.
But i don't understand because i just logged in and didn't press anything.

It already over 1weeks and even i sent ticket many times to support and Pm, there are never answer me yet.
But first one i got replying mail and i could see one link "0.001btc , say thanks"
It seems i have to press for paying 0.001btc to deal with? so i paid 0.0001btc.
I also answered the question.

You locked yourself by clicking at button "Freeze withdrawals from my account (I suspect hacking)" at Settings page.

For security check we must ask you some information before unlock.
Please describe in this ticket: approximate date of registration at Yobit and your last actions  (deposits, withdrawals, orders, etc.)
with approximate amounts.
