Zcash is good but I do not think that it is suitable for a very very long term investment. It will be better if you invest your money in ethereum or ethereum classic because they are 100% better than zcash. However, if you are a risk taker, zcash is a good crypto to place your money in

To be honest I adore privacy coins and that's why I would recommend buying Zcash, Moreover they listed on exchange where is possible to buy it for fiat and another point is current attractive price level for Zcash

If you believe anonymous cryptocurrencies will play an essential role in the cryptocurrency community then adding  coins with revolutionary technology would make sense.

If you plan to invest all money only in Zcash, then I would not advise doing this.  I advise you to divide the investment between several coins.

Upon reading Zcash's description before it is going to be launched and advertise I'm thinking that it will have a bright future and will be able to make it as good as bitcoin.
But base on reading your comments guys, it made me dissatisfied and remove my interest to this coin. Too discouragement, tsk

I guess that this coins would be great, well it will need time to increase the value. Patience are the key and keep in mind that this is a long term investment which will give a great return.

Yes frightening . everyone started somewhere . investment is your future . if there is a desire to become financially free then this is the right choice . the key is to start and experience and mistakes is the best school of life.

I see no reason to invest in Zcash.  I think the price of this coin will not grow much and it is better to invest in another coin.

Once governments see privacy coins as a threat to their economy, they will do everything within their power to stop them. Their perfect excuse would be to prevent money laundering and illegal activity with such coins, but the truth is that most of these things are done in fiat currencies themselves. People should have the right for privacy, and if governments start to crackdown on privacy coins, then such coins will fall massively in price.

I've once seen a news article around the web, saying that the US might crackdown on privacy coins. If this becomes a reality, then privacy coins like ZCash, Monero, Bitcoin Private, Dash, and others would be doomed since they'll be unable to grow in value once they're considered illegal by countries around the world. Of course, there would be nothing stopping people from using privacy coins even if they're banned from a country, but it would be more difficult to use them since governments would keep an eye out for any unusual activity.

All in all, if governments decide to accept privacy coins as legal forms of payment, then they would have a bright future for sure. ZCash, will be going on a series of improvements over the following days as it hard forks into a new version of the protocol. The aim is to make ZCash much faster, scalable, and private than ever with such upgrades. And once ZCash becomes stronger, it could rise in value within the future. Only smart individuals who invest into privacy coins like ZCash within their early days, will greater benefit in the future once they rise in value and all goes well in the regulatory sector.

I think it's better to invest in ETH than invest in Zcash.  I very much doubt that by the end of the year the price will grow by 2 times this coin.

It is worth to invest in zcash because its price always goes up and more people are looking into investing their money in zcash to find the 100% anonymous currency. It is very good for hackers and people who want to hide their ID

Zcash is the leader when it comes to tech, but the problem for average investor is that due to its private/anonymous features, most governments will ban them. But zcash investors invest into it for its privacy reasons only. One thing I almost hate about is that 15% of it was premined. That leaves a lot for the founders/investors.

I have doubts about privacy coins because goverments are very serious that they want to stop them, if all goverments ban this curencies it can effect in price and its very dangerous to invest for long term.

i think there is a lot of competition for the z cash that's why i can't invest in it try to find some unique coin in their field for more potential profit good luck

Maybe you're right.  But I would not risk and invest in Zcash.  It is better to invest in ETH.
