Middle East and North Africa just knew peace by the XIX-early XX Centuries as colonies of an European country. Maybe it's about time for US to assume its empire and rule over Iraq and Afghanistan, they are unsuitable for independence... or fight the root of the problem: Islam, but make sure something else doesn't come along the way to replace it by another war-waging crackpot religion.
