Regarding the merit talk, the issue is that these forum members who complain about merit are not even putting in the work. This platform is an open space and actively contributing valuable information to it will definitely yield. The legendary members didn’t get to the top posting crap. So, if there’s any newbie reading this, just actively contribute valuable information that is actually yours and not stolen or spun. You’ll eventually get noticed and will be merited accordingly.

Generally, nothing is easy. There’s no aspect of life that doesn’t require work and patience. OP speaks about degree, career, etc, and we can see that these things we want in life is not gotten by wanting them or trying to claim that they are ours; we have to endure.

I doubt this topic belongs in this thread but you have made a point though. And i can't agree more with you. Nothing in the world is easy even crypto itself seems to be so easy and a lot of people think (All we have to sit in front of laptop/mobile to make money). But in reality a person at start can not manage to sit for 4 to 8 hours in front of devices. Then these types of persons leave the industry or that work by complaining the work is not suitable for them. Actually what you are trying to do here is motivating new comers to not to leave this platform because many people do leave this platform for many factors.

Overall, we should also support them like we were supported when we were new, my local community members really motivated me encouraged me and cared about me in many ways that i can not think of. So, whenever a newbie came in our local community or even in any board i when see there post i also try to encourage them Because nothin is easy for anybody everybody have to make efforts to achieve something and that how economy works too. Yes profit is the motive of every business man or woman. But when you focus only on profit without outlining the risk assessment or analysis that would help you, you'll definitely fall. Like (1) lack of business orientation (2) lack of feasibility study (3) mismanagement of funds and taking everything common, Can lead to business collapse.

The same thing to running a business without enough capital to sustain. Because investment doesn't give us instant return we can fully rely on it, maybe months after. That is how important to have a least another source of income to back it up while waiting for our business or investment to grow. We can just quit working on other people if we are really ready and when our investment/business can already support our living. In order to have a good living, we also have to make multiple sources of income which is somewhat hard for poor people and I feel how hard it was.

OP, life was not meant to be very easy, everyone has to earn whatever they desire, it is a natural phenomenon, just look at the life of people who inherited wealth from their parents or whoever, most time handling this wealth becomes a problem for them, because may they were not given the proper orientation to handle such huge position as they see it, this is a different thing when you suffer to build a company or firm, you won't joke with it, you will also try as much as possible to teach your heir the do and donts in the company so that if you are no more he or she can perfect things the way they were before you left.

I keep seeing forum members make complaints about not getting merits and all. It will be very hypocritical of me to say we shouldn't care about merit and ranking up, but your desire to rank up should lead you in the right direction.
The goal is to learn and grow, then make meaningful contributions that can grow other forum members. It's not going to be easy, and it will take time, but it will be worth it in the end.

This doesn't only apply to the forum but to every aspect of life.
Take a business for example.
The goal of a business is to make a profit but you can't make a profit if certain things are not done right. If you just pursue profit without thinking about other factors, your business will fail.
If your product/service is top-notch, your marketing, packaging, and distribution are done right along with other factors, you will make a profit.
The same thing applies to every aspect of life. A degree, career, or anything at all.

If your first encounter with crypto was a scam altcoin, it doesn't mean you should wash your hand off of crypto. If you're still interested in it, learn from that bad situation and gain more experience from it.

If you previously made an investment in Bitcoin and you lost, it doesn't mean you should give up on Bitcoin; learn from it and re-evaluate your decision.

So don't think Bitcoin and Bitcointalk are any different from life.
You may look at a forum member with legendary rank and you want to achieve that, it's good that that motivates you, but you have to know that they didn't just achieve that overnight. They learned, grew, improved themselves, and improved others to get to that level.
Whatever you want, work hard and smart for it because it won't be handed to you on a platter.

Its true that people want to reach out a certain condition of their life on which they are really that imagining or liking to have a financially free kind of life on which it is really that they are wanting to have that state but really that not making any steps or doing hard work on which it do make things that shit and ending up on crying or still remaining on the situation that they are in or simply having no progress.
You would really be that staying up on where you are if you dont really make hard work. Not everything in life would really be taken for granted not unless if you are born with a golden spoon or a family on which
it is rich or having that lots of properties and money then it wont really be such a problem for you but we know that only a few % of those individuals who are in such condition and most of us are really that being born with average to poor type of family.

So this means that if you are really that having plans on making yourself better in terms of finances then we should really be grinding up hard. Be wise on making decisions and be sensible
on what you are doing. Passion and dedication would really be the key and also having that patience because if you dont have these kind of qualities
then it would really be surely be resulting into failure but somewhat if you dont quit up easily and thrive even harder then chances would be always there.

  Even if other people have a good job, others still neglect it because they are irresponsible people. Actually, in this age, whether an opportunity is simple or not, it is up to us how we consider it beautiful or ugly. Because maybe for others, what is ugly in our eyes is beautiful to them, and what is beautiful in our eyes is ugly to others.

  That means it depends on us whether the cryptocurrency is really good or not. If it is good, for sure we will find a way to find out and study it for sure so that we can make a profit from it. Because if it is not good, we will also find a way to avoid it and not believe it either. Right?

People who have evil intentions will always commit crimes wherever they are and I don't think that needs to be denied because not everyone likes doing that by using something like crypto. We just need to use crypto wisely or as something that can make our work easier so that crypto can continue to run and develop over time with a wider range of users.

Now the crypto space can be used as a way of helping to achieve better goals for each of our lives. Because everyone can choose better jobs in the crypto space such as trading and investing with long-term targets so that there is a better income for each of us in the future, so there is no need to think about those who commit crimes through crypto. Because this is not a good thing and does not need to be an example for everyone.

Knowledge is a mandatory thing that must be known before we implement that knowledge. If we walk without a goal, or knowing the way to reach the goal, then the results will not be good. Therefore, many people are disappointed after investing in the crypto world, because all they have in mind are expectations, and they don't have sufficient knowledge. therefore they fall into it because of their own mistakes

If only working hard makes a man successful then a day laborer would have been the wealthiest person. You need to work hard but without knowledge you will not be able to amplify your true potential by using your abilities. Knowledge can help you identify the right path and take smart initiative to get things done in a unique way that an average person cannot. That's why we don't see multiple elon Masks and Bill gates at the same time. Their knowledge opened their eyes to opportunities and led them to success.
