I think 2 years prediction of market recovery is quite too long to wait because last December 2017 experienced big shot of bitcoin market. And it might be in experience that "history will repeat itself", so with this there's a promising expectation that this coming December 2018 we will be on the right track.

Most probability that it could take at least 2 year to recover the crypto market. But, then some another coin will be big giant in market like the Ethereum. One more coin to be watched for now is ICX. So, invest in this coin now.

Anyway, the market can absolutely take 2 years to recover, but I don't think it will. Many people are using history to predict a 2 year recovery period like 2014-2015. I don't think it will take that long. Like all markets, most of the movement happens during a short time frame, so It's very hard to predict when it will happen.

I think you have a good point with that because the price already dump to much in the past few months and the reason why the price goes down its because there are so many people are losing there trust in crypto currency becuase of some bad news like hackers.

In my own opinion there is no exact time or length of years to when the market will recover with more and more people are getting interest to crypto trading we might be surprise market will become bullish again since almost 6 months where market are correcting probably whales are dumping their bitcoins for profit taking and once they gone dumping expect market will slowly recover and become bullish again. Market fundamentals have changed!

we dont know when their are a lot of speculation hoping that it will fast recovery.
If that is happening that it could take 2years for the market recover many investors disappointed and they dont want invest their money for the reasons of very slow earn or gained money.
Crypto moves so fast I think a two year recovery is not realistic. I think you will see a recovery this year but this market will continue to have swings and have another drop after recovery. Stabilization of this market may indeed be two or more years away.
