Napoli had bad times with Rudi Gacia but they are using a new coach to have a better performance and I think that's why these two games against Inter Milan and Juventus are both two important games for Mazzarri the new coach of Napoli to prove himself and if he shows a good performance in both games, Mazzarri will have a high chance to even extend his contract with his team and stay there for a longer time.

Testing Napoli's new coach's managerial abilities with these two clubs will not be enough to determine the type of coach he is and whether he is a good fit for the team. They must give him plenty of time, say until the end of the season, before deciding whether to keep him or extend his contract. So, if he performs poorly against Juventus and Inter Milan but performs satisfactorily in  the remaining matches, will he be a bad manager for the team? That, I suppose, will not be the case. Mazzarri should be a good coach or perform better because he knows what is at stake if he does not manage the team well.

Yes, Juventus really benefits from only having a schedule for domestic competitions. The player's fitness level is greater when compared to other teams competing in Europe. Massimo Allegri certainly has to maximize his squad to continue to maintain its position at the top so that the target of winning the Scudetto is also more open. I believe the Old Lady's chances are greater if you look at their schedule, other competitors like Inter might find a busy period where they will lose control in Serie A.
If you look at the match schedule between Juventus and Inter Milan, Juventus has the advantage of having a smaller schedule compared to Inter Milan who have to share their concentration in the Champions League and Serie A. But make no mistake, Inter Milan can handle a busy schedule and for them this is not a problem. problem because coach Simone Inzaghi has many ways to avoid problems with player injuries and player fitness by carrying out various kinds of rotations.

For Juventus itself, so far its development has progressed, but it could be said that it is not yet completely stable, its goal productivity has not specifically increased. Even though we know they have focused on Serie A from the start, they should be able to do more than that.
Juventus absence in European football this season is without doubt an added advantage for them to overtake Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A standings but at the moment, it doesn't look like Inter Milan's involvement in the European scene is gonna stop them from having a great domestic season.

Judging by their general performance this season abd their current form, Simone Inzaghi's men have proven that they have all it takes takes to repeat the club's achievement during the 2009/10 season where they won a treble. Juventus who hasn't won the league in any of the last three seasons initially winning it for nine consecutive seasons are strong contenders to win the scudetto again but they'll have to stop outperform Inter Milan to do that. A difficult task I think

I am trying to understand why you think that it is an advantage for Juventus Turin to not play in the European tournaments. I said this before and some people think like you, but I think that a top team like Manchester City would suffer more from not playing the Champions League. These competitions raise the awareness and the focus within any team. The only thing you can be referring to is injuries, but other than that I believe the level of play is almost always higher for teams that also play in the Champions League. See the comeback Inter Milan now had in the Champions League against Benfica, do you think it will help them or hurt them?

obviously not having to play in the cup also leaves the players fresher and therefore they can give their best in home games
I expected this, but not playing cups is so sad
I have to watch other peoples games and not my favorite team
very sad

Inter's fixture is quite challenging recently. After facing Juventus in the league previously and having a really tiring game against Benfica in the Champions League their next opponent is Napoli. It is a league game I mean. Inter got 2 draws in the games I mentioned. This Napoli game is an away one as well so I'm curious about whether this streak will continue.

Inter can't win against Napoli in away games for a while at the same time. Considering all of these it is quite difficult for me to believe in Inter to win this game. Instead I think both teams to score is one of the best options for this game.
The match against Inter Milan will be the next match to prove that replacing Rudi Garcia was the right decision because at least they got good results against Atlanta even though in the Champions League they lost badly to Real Madrid but that is quite acceptable because their opponents in the Champions League have very good quality this season.
Against Inter Milan, Napoli's advantage is as a home team, it's just that this season Napoli's home game is not good enough because they have suffered several defeats at home so this is a match that is quite difficult to predict, and the betting market gives odds that are not much different for the two teams so no one can far superior, but of course Napoli don't want to lose the momentum to climb to the top and reduce the point difference with the teams above them.
To be fair the Real Madrid game was a normal result, it's obvious that they would lose to them, Real is probably either the greatest team in the world right now, or at least in the top three, they are literally huge. They bought Jude Bellingham for 100+ million euro this summer, when was the last time Napoli spent 100 million on transfers, not just a single player, I mean like as a whole. Lets be realistic and see that no matter how much you try, you can't beat teams with that deep pockets, hell Real spent more on their stadium than Napoli spent on the whole club.

This means that if Napoli ends up winning against Inter, they are going to prove that their decision was right, but also we still know that if they didn't fire last years manager, they would have been better.

So far Napoli isn't doing bad under the leadership of mazzarri, I had taught earlier that they would have issues trying to get along with his style and for awhile they would need sometime to get used to his coaching tactics but it seems they are getting along already and their performance so far is fair.

Mazzarri needs to further prove him self playing against inter Milan a d Juventus to show how well he is capable to lead the team in the spirit of the defending champions of the league title, I think he will have a tougher time with inter Milan than he would with Juventus, although both teams are at the top of the table but inter Milan seems to have a good defensive mechanism which he will need to penetrate if he must win them.
The change of coach has not shown promising quality of play for Napoli and even though in his first match Mazzarri managed to win the match. There are many things that need to be fixed by the coach and the players also have to adapt to the new style of play implemented by Mazzarri. Napoli will have a difficult season in my opinion because a change of coach can have a big effect on the team and in fact I am starting to doubt that they will be able to finish the season in the top five at the end of the season.

Defending the Scudetto will be much more difficult and if Mazzarri does not make big changes in the next few games then Napoli's condition will be much worse. Watching Napoli's match in the Champions League against Real Madrid and I think Rudi Garcia's abilities are a little better than Mazzarri because last night's defeat was really embarrassing for Napoli.
Since winning the Serie A title and Spalletti leaving for Garcia, the team's condition has started to look unstable and I even doubt that Napoli will be able to compete at the top again instead of wanting to defend the Scudetto. Now that coaching has returned to Mazzari, there is a glimmer of hope placed on him, but it seems very difficult for him to restore glory to the Partenopei. But I won't judge him because he still needs time to polish the team, but Mazzari must be able to bring Napoli to at least finish in the top four and I think that's good enough.
There are so many differences between spalletti and garcia. You may never able to get another spalletti again. Garcia is not having same vision as spalletti. Spalletti being chosen to be a new coach for italy and yeah he brings italy to the euro.
Napoli was not able to playing as good as last season when spalletti was still there. I think that napoli is finished without spalletti. Rudi garcia will not able to give what the club wanted from him. Napoli has been linked to the some coaches that potentially to be a new coach for the club.
Im thinking that napoli shall try to get a new coach asap to make sure it will able to have better performance than this time. Napoli was losing against real madrid again. It proves that rudi was not learning from the previous match.
Some names like conte has been linked to the napoli but he rejects it.

At the same time, I think the performance of Inter is actually looking good right now. Better compared to Napoli at this moment.
Napoli is not as great as last season, this season Inter Milan is performing very well and it seems they will not be able to relax as long as Juventus is in second place because of course these two clubs will fight for the title this season, that is why there is a lot of speculation that Inter Milan will win the title This season, if at the end of the season Juventus doesn't look consistent, the fact is that Juventus is playing very consistently.

It seems that Juventus will also have the target of winning the Italian league this season, because they are very consistent in every match on the winning track and drew once against Inter Milan last week, making the competition even tighter for the title this season. but I am more confident that Juventus will win the title this season than Inter Milan.

We may not know who will be the champion until the last weeks, the strength of the two teams is so close to each other and the conflict between them seems to continue. Of course, they will make mistakes and lose points, but it doesn't seem like there will be a serious difference for now.
It would be nice if Juventus becomes champion this year, they have had many problems over the years and it is nice to see them as leaders Smiley

I understand that Napoli is not performing as well as the should as the title defender. But I think we have to keep in mind that they are still the title defenders. And they are going to try to defend their title. That's why I don't think any team should actually take them lightly. Every team should take them as the champion of the league and play against them accordingly. Otherwise, a lot of teams are going to find out that they are not as easy as it seems. But anyway, I agree that in this season they are not performing as well as they should. And that is definitely something Napoli will have to improve on.

Week 14 will be a difficult week for Inter Milan after they also went through something difficult last week because they had to deal with Juventus. Yes week 14 they will travel to Napoli headquarters. Although Napoli are not as good as last season, but still does not mean they can be defeated easily this season, especially they will play a home match.
Inter Milan must be careful, because if they lose this match, then they will be very able to be shifted by Juventus, who this week will face an easier club, namely dealing with Monza.

In the previous match in Serie A, the fact that Napoli who had changed coaches managed to win away for the match against Atalanta. I think that's a good thing of course, because basically Atalanta is also not a weak team at all. So yes, playing at home against Inter in the next match in Serie A, I think it could be that Napoli will still manage to be able to play well. But yes, at least if we consider about the results they get or they have so far this season for home and away matches. Then I think it is clear, that Inter still have good results for away matches but unfortunately, Napoli do not have good results for home matches so far this season. But maybe, Walter Mazzarri can improve Napoli's performance for home matches to be even better in this match.

I don't think the absence in UCL makes Juventus to have higher chance to win Serie A title. We can see the last match that Inter Milan still dominated the match although it was held in Juventus stadium. It means Inter Milan still superior against Juventus, they are the team that have higher chance to win Serie A title this season. Sure, with less matches, Juventus players will have smaller chance to get injury. But it doesn't guarantee for the whole players to be in their best fitness. Meanwhile Inter Milan, they still can play in their best performance although there are some key players injured.
I think Juventus got advantage with absent in champion league and europe competition from Europe League until Conference League after get suspending from UEFA. Juventus players not face with injury and they can focus with domestic league how to finish on top standings position for returning back to Champion League next season. Have smalless chance with Juventus player injury because they have every one week for getting rest and not get by Serie A teams who participants in Champion League, Europe League and Conference League have two matches every one week.
Juventus main players absent is Paul Pogba due suspend from UEFA but its not problem looking for how consistent performance and success pressure Inter Milan on first place with two points left.
Yes, Juventus really benefits from only having a schedule for domestic competitions. The player's fitness level is greater when compared to other teams competing in Europe. this is what worries Inter fans because they know that Juventus has a much better stamina and physical advantage because they dont have any other matches scheduled and it is difficult to predict whether Inter will continue to stay at the top of the standings while Juventus continues to catch up on points.

Inzaghi as Inter coach always tries his best for his team and maintains the stability of the performance and physicality of the players, especially midfielders who are always at risk of getting tired when continuously competing and in january I think Inzaghi will look for several second tier players to be on guard to continue performing consistently in series A to win the title and Juventus will certainly do the same.
I agree with your view, though it might still be tough as Inter Milan is doing well too. Above all, I wouldn't worry much, Inter Milan is not that strong match for Juventus, at least with my rating and analysis and I made that with many factors. At a mere 2 points lower than Inter Milan, I can bet it with anybody that before this year runs out, the table would change while Juventus would be leading the table. You've said it all, the ground of Juventus is more solid than that of Inter Milan, though they have the same feat in their recent matches. If you view closely how the two teams are playing, it's obvious that Juventus will be the pick of an insightful person over Inter.

It was a tough game for the two sides the last time they met on Sunday and the 1 point said each by them could be confusing, but still, you know the one that has the possession, we can't take that for granted. One thing I see in Inter Milan is that their mid-field is not strong enough, and the same goes for their defence. The two angles are trying but with the right firepower from a determined opponent, I believe they would be conceding so many goals. However, they are trying their best with the attacking power, and doing better with this will help them further. But the firing power of Juventus is becoming weak amidst a better defence, this combination is not so perfect yet they can still manoeuvre their way to win more matches and displace Inter Milan if care is not taken.

Actually I don't really believe in the new coach Mazzarri but I'm trying to wait to see how great this coach will be in bringing Napoli to the best position in the points table and at least I want to see in the next 5 matches whether Mazzarri is able to bring Napoli to win consistently or will only the same as Rudi Garcia and it were just a guess I think Mazzarri would only be the same as Garcia.
In the upcoming match, Napoli will have to go through the most difficult times and it will not be easy to beat these two big clubs, Juventus and Inter Milan, while these two club have more experience in Serie A than in the past, but we don't know whether Mazzarri can provide the right strategy or not will only get defeat but what certain is that I guess against Inter they will lose.

yes but they are also losing a lot of money in rights and this will sooner or later be reflected in next season
therefore they must try to capitalize on this unfortunate condition as much as possible and take maximum advantage
the minimum is to go to the champions league
Juventus could seize all the opportunities available, including winning the Scudetto again and I think the main achievement they have to do is be able to maintain their consistency. It is not easy to be at the top with such tight competition and therefore they cannot be careless in the slightest when other teams are still busy with other European competitions.

Being able to get a place in the Champions League next season is one of Juventus' priorities and they have to do it right. Now it's just a matter of how they can survive with all the current problems because we know they are not okay with the other problems of their players like Pogba or Fagioli. Their finances will always be eroded if they encounter more problems and that is not good enough if they want to gain strength in the transfer market.

Absence from European Competitions wasn't thee teams fault, they did them.best to make sure they qualified. Point addition and deduction messed them up at the last few games of the season. It was block buster. Juventus never expected it happening.

Allegri head coach of Juventus have said that they'll not be chasing for the Seria A tittle this season, that only intention is to qualify them for the Champions League Football next season. That I'm not sure though, because they'll have motives hidden to win tue tittle.
But considering that they have a good defense but not a coordinated attack that can score goals and wins them matches, they don't have the capacity of winning the league otherwise they make improve signatures.

With the experience Inter have actually I think this is still not a big problem because in any case when looking at the situation that is happening now and the previous few seasons we know Inter can balance the situation well and they can still focus on both the problem is sometimes Inter's illness always comes suddenly especially in the middle of the season towards the end of the season their performance is always destroyed and it happens not just 1 season but in the last few seasons for domestic competitions like that.
We know Inter can always be the best contenders for Serie A but when their illness cannot be cured and Inzaghi still cannot get the right formula for it then indeed it will still be very difficult for them because this season the concern is still from that for me the rest I don't worry anything for Inter.

There are two difficult matches ahead, namely against Inter Milan and Juventus.
If they perform well in this match, it will prove that Mazzarri really deserves to replace Rudi Garcia.
In fact, Inter Milan is strong team they managed to occupy first place with 10 wins and 32 points, while Juventus finished second with 9 wins and 30 points.
So it can be confirmed that in the match against these two team, if Napoli can perform well it will prevent the two top teams from continuing to peak.
Even though they have home match, Inter will try to win the match to be able to widen the point difference with Juventus which is only 2 points different.
We will see how Mazzarri works for Napoli in the match against these two strong teams and we can see how Napoli are working to recover from the downturn they previously experienced.
A few defeats have given Napoli loss of confidence and now they have looked better than ever when led by Rudi Garcia.
Napoli's boss was able to get a win in his debut game against Atalanta last weekend, yes the outcome gave him a confidence ahead of yesterday's UCL contest sith Real Madrid where they eventually lost, it doesn't change the fact that Mazarri seems like a good impact to the team. The loss to Madrid shouldn't be a set back to them giving their best in subsequent games. They've got tough games ahead and they can't afford to loose or perform below standard.

These games are a test to Mazarri's records and it's expected that he'd perform rightly. Inter and Juventus are currently the biggest teams in the league and Napoli currently seems like they're getting their stance again to counter any team that they may face. We hope to see Mazarri build Napoli into a better team.

Napoli won on coach Walter Mazzarri's return day. There were many doubts for Coach Mazzarri when he accepted to return to lead Napoli for the second time, but he decided to return. The Napoli that Rudi Garcia left behind is a shabby team lacking fighting power. Garcia turned defending champion Napoli into an outsider in the Serie A race with a meager 10 points. But Napoli still has the responsibility of protecting at least a position in the Top 4, in addition to going deep in the Champions League.
Mazzarri led Napoli very successfully for 4 years. He is considered a representative of old-fashioned football, in contrast to the modern attacking thinking that coach Luciano Spalletti applied to turn Napoli into Serie A champions last season.

It doesn't worry me, maybe because I'm not an Inter fan but I'm certain that if you ask Inter fans which they would chose between not playing in the champions league and having a lot of time to rest while Juventus plays in the champions and the league or they (Inter) plays in both competitions, I'm sure they'll chose to pkwy in both competitions.
These are the things that determine a big club. A big club plays in 3 competitions all season long while smaller clubs only plays in one, making the challenge and pressure bigger for the bigger club.
Inter don't seem like a club that would let Juventus use that as an advantage over them. The serie A title race would be between these two giants; Juventus and Inter. I'm placing my bet on Inter though because they seem like a more serious team. They play better and are more compact than Juve. Hopefully both teams keeps up this momentum till the end of the season so either team don't run away with the league like Napoli did last time.

@harapan I don’t think Inter fan’s are worried about this because they would like to win all trophies possible and champions league experience is important too. Furthermore Juventus isn’t always guaranteed to win hence no Inter fan should be worried rather they should just keep on backing Inter player’s to play their best and then hope for the best results.

this is what worries Inter fans because they know that Juventus has a much better stamina and physical advantage because they dont have any other matches scheduled and it is difficult to predict whether Inter will continue to stay at the top of the standings while Juventus continues to catch up on points.
