There's no denying, the sack should have even come earlier than we expected but the management have Rudi Garcia too much time. I don't know what transpired between Luciano Spalleti and Napoli management but the former head coach of Napoli shouldn't have let the lad just too early. They've had a taste of the top before AC Milan came to over ride them that season. Last season, they deserve the league trophy.
The sack should have come earlier than now, but it is not too late since they are still in the top four. The point difference between them and Inter Milan that is at the top is 10 points, which is bad for them as the defending champion, but nevertheless, they might bounce back strong since we still have a long way to go in the league, and I am hoping this new manager will tackle all the previous errors Garcia was making in order to lift the team's glory this season both in the Champions League and the Seria A.

Quote
Victor Oshime absence has affected the clubs goal scoring form not Victor Oshime becoming the problem for Napoli, he has done nothing wrong internally and externally for the club. They miss Victor Oshime, but whenever he scores, they'll give credits to the Georgian international Khivicha Kvaratskhelia.
The former manager has been underestimating Victor Osimhen since the day he missed a penalty; they don't respect all he is doing for the team. Just as you said, they always give credit to Khivicha Kvaratskhelia, even though we know that Osimhen is the main player that has driven the team to success, just as we saw last season. Now they are missing him due to injury because the team is not scoring enough goals.

A draw is much better for placing bets on the Juventus vs Inter Milan match, because these two clubs are equally strong and both want to be at the top of the standings, but Juventus is in good condition in its last few matches, so don't make the wrong bet. in this match because it is difficult to predict..
Ahead of the match against Juventus, Inter Milan CEO Beppe Marotta said the Derby d'Italia match would be very interesting.

Yes, of course this is a prestigious match for both teams, because this match will determine who will be at the top of the standings.
Both teams seem to have shown their best game in the last 5 matches.

But I will bet on Inter Milan winning.  Cool

I didn't know that Juventus were going to host Inter on their next game day. It is a nice coincidence thinking I was assessing the current situations of these two teams in my last post.  Grin

Anyway for this game of course bookmakers are favouring Inter about which I don't have a different opinion either. There is only a gap of two points between these teams of course. However Inter are still a much more productive team than Juventus although both of them have strong defenses. However the problem is Inter haven't been able to beat them away very often. While Juventus are in this great form I wouldn't risk my bet by picking Inter to win here. Even both teams to score might be risky thinking how great Juventus are about keeping the advantage when they get ahead first.

It remains a difficult match for Inter, even if they are very strong, it is not convenient for them to underestimate my beloved Juventus, who as you said have a very strong defense and are capable of attacking in a very painful way! Like bee!

It will be a match worth seeing for everyone, not just the fans. My advice of course.
I can't wait for the match day to come because it has been a match with great expectations from both clubs. This is because the two clubs are just two points ahead of the other and I must say that currently both of them are in form. Inter has proven their consistency by winning their UCL match and they are topping their group, which makes it seem as if Inter have a better opportunity of winning this match.

On the other hand Juve is currently in form and I believe that they will also want to prove to Inter that they are better than them in this match and they will not allow Inter to defeat them. I might say that the match might end up in a draw or the team that is stronger will always be superior over the other.

Not only that they are the first two ranks in the table, but they also have great scores so far and are unbeaten for a while. No matter who wins that game, it would be big progress for both of the teams and it is of course a game with significant impact on the table as Inter Milan could have a 5 point advantage after the game. I hope it is not going to end in a boring draw  Grin

Of course after the great success of the previous coach it is very difficult to build a team's game again. It may even be necessary to change more than one new coach to make the team play at a high level again. Barcelona had a similar situation. Maybe Napoli will also be able to return to the first place.
Barcelona and Napoli cannot be compared, especially because Barcelona managed to win 5 titles in the last 9 seasons. Barcelona was certainly bad when they failed to win the title in 3 consecutive seasons from 2019-2020 to 2021-2022, but they managed to win it again last season.

I don't know which Serie A team is most suitable to compare Napoli in term of achievements, but several teams that previously dominated Serie A have changed coaches because they failed to win the title. This season Napoli are not favorites as one of the teams to win the title, that's because Inter and Juventus have a real chance of winning it again.

Actually, I won't blame Garcia completely and I won't defend him either, but we just have to look at the positive side because Garcia isn't that great and doesn't have the achievements of previous coach Spalletti, but from this bad performance we also have to look at the other side like Victor Osimhen. who cannot compete to defend Napoli and Osimhen's side is not what it used to be before having problems with Napoli so it is natural that Osimhen is a little discouraged after having problems with his own club.
With this, I don't really believe that Napoli can get past the clubs above them to win the title and we'll see how Napoli performs after playing against Atalanta in the upcoming match. We'll see how the score turns out for Napoli.
The newly appointed coach will take off where Rudi Garcia left off. What did Aurelio de Laurentiis hope to begin with? Appointing a coach who was fired by the Al Nassr board of directors in the Saudi Pro League.  Napoli will never develop under such a coach because he lacks experience and the capacity to reunite a team that appears dissatisfied at the moment; perhaps he should be given more time, but this is an elite club where everyone expects nothing but the highest performance from the club. There's no time and the earlier the new boss reacts to the situation on ground the better.
Actually, looking at some of the news that previously when Rudi Garcia was chosen as coach it was also at the suggestion of Spalletti because it was considered the same leadership style but in the end the flying hours and lack of coaching style actually made this mess even though Rudi Garcia and Spalleti's coaching styles were almost the same but in terms of performance we know what the results were like.
Now I think Napoli should only focus on what Mazzarri will do bcause in the end they will still be highlighted especially for Mazzarri who now has a heavy burden because he is required to be able to bring Napoli to a better direction because if not then the criticism that was thrown at Rudi Garcia will also approach him for the rest of the season at Napoli.
Of course after the great success of the previous coach it is very difficult to build a team's game again. Rudi Garcia has been sacked, they called back Mazzarri after 10 years.

Conte is rumored to have refused them, twice.

Well, it was the right decision to fire Rudi Garcia but isn't there another better option for Napoli's new coach? considering that they really need a coach who is very experienced in winning titles to get through this season. Walter Mazzarri was their previous coach and now he has returned after more than 10 years and I think this is an immature decision from Napoli. The last time Walter Mazzarri coached Cagliari was in the 21/22 season and there is no other good record apart from having coached Inter in the 13/14 season. I feel that Napoli will not be able to find their goal this season and they are unlikely to be able to survive the Scudetto competition.

Wow. So quickly and decisively, But is it the right choice? In June this year, Luciano Spallettti parted ways with Napoli. A breakup leaves many regrets because they are at the peak of fame. Currently, Garcia and his students are ranked 4th in Serie A with 21 points after 12 matches, 10 points behind leading team Inter. A difficult person like Aurelio De Laurentiis cannot accept this. He then decided to fire Rudi Garcia as head coach. And Welcome back, Mazzarri, but Mazzarri will be the temporary replacement before Napoli finds a more suitable coach next season. Even though he is only temporary, the question is whether Mazzarri has enough courage to withstand pressure from President De Laurentiis. De Laurentiis' hot-tempered nature always makes unexpected dismissal decisions.

The way they got good results with Spallettti was amazing and I think even other coaches like Mazzarri can't have this good performance in Napoli.
Back in 2009 he joined Napoli from Sampdoria and started working there as a coach for four years and then he left Napoli for Inter Milan.
This Italian coach returned to Napoli hoping to improve the team.

It also looks like it will be difficult for Napoli to win the match, especially since Atalanta is also playing at home and will play optimally not to lose points, I think this is a difficult match for Napoli seeing that this season Napoli is not playing as well as last season and we all saw that there their performance has decreased and it is also possible that it will be difficult to chase the title this season.

The bad results obtained by Napoli in several matches are not very satisfying, making people feel unsure about Napoli's current ability and strength. To beat Atalanta at home, of course they need to fight hard to win, Rudi Garcia must be able to put pressure on his team to get good results. Also remembering that Rudi Garcia may have a lot of pressure from supporters to make Napoli better and more consistent.
Napoli has been of good form for some seasons and even most games too, though they seem like they maybe experiencing some drawbacks in their confidence in every game. Serie A is starting to get tough and a whole lot of teams are starting to seem threatening and so every other club has to up their game to be able to compete rightly.

Napoli's advantage to winning is a bit less but still they can still stand a chance they just have to put in hardwork to their game play, their tactics should be a bit heated so they'd be a threat to other teams, however if Rudi Garcia doesn't come up with a strategy to win against Atlanta that he could end up leaving Napoli earlier than we think.

Rudi Garcia faced too many criticism and I felt it in a way impacted on his performance althrough his stay in Napoli and now he is gone, it could be possible he would have done better and improved if he was given more time but sadly that time was something the team didn't have probably because they have a target of the league title this season.

It's expidient that mazzarri understands that so much will be expected of him because the team he now has to manage already has a lot of pressure on them which made the forma lost his job, so with him the pressure will even be worse because he has even lesser time to achieve what the other couldn't achieve, he has to get aquinted with his players and they aswell need to get used to his style of coaching, all this will cause some instability in the team for awhile but then they will cope on the long run I hope it doesn't take so much time to fix.
Rudi Garcia sack was deserved and due few weeks ago and the new boss will settle and fix the current challenges of the team. Rudi Garcia came at the wrong time, Napoli was in formidable form last season when Luciano Spalleti was incharge but they struggle to fit in this season because they're no longer the fire squad we witnessed, this time they're playing games without the ranking goal machine in the club. Victor Osimhen is among the problem affecting the club, they can't score more goals and record easy victory without him and obvious they need a new backup striker because it seems he's keen on exiting the Maradona stadium.

I had already commented on something similar and I will repeat myself a little again, Napoli has not won Serie A for many years, it seems to me that Napoli's management since they won Serie A last season have started to forget history and They forgot a very important fact: they haven't won Serie A for many years and they are thinking that since they won last season, they will win this and other seasons with the same squad or almost the same squad, but that is something very difficult when the coach is not the same, I don't know how they expect to have the same results as last season knowing that last season they had another coach

also the big teams from last season were not strong, which meant that napoli managed to win the title, so this season the big teams became very strong again and napoli are not managing to be at the top and even if napoli had maintained the Same coach, they wouldn't be able to stay at the top and win the title this season, just look at the performance Napoli had in the champions league last season, they didn't reach the final, they didn't win the European champions league. I believe that the coach who was fired was doing a good job, we will see if another coach will make Napoli champions

Ending fifth position might be an understatement, they could not fail to qualify for any of the European Competitions next season, amongst the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.

To be in 4th or 5th position at the end of the season is still very possible for Napoli, as long as the mentality of the Napoli players does not get worse and the player's relationship with the manager also improves. If this can be overcome, looking at the inconsistency of Roma, Atalanta, Lazio and AC Milan, it feels like there is still a chance for Napoli. The pressure is definitely being experienced by coaches and players, this is a problem that must be the main focus so that it can be resolved as quickly as possible.

After all, finishing in the top six will also still get European tickets for next season and in fact, at this moment Napoli also still in the top four. So yes, although Napoli sometimes get bad results, but the fact is that Napoli can also still achieve good results in the next matches. So yes, I personally think there is nothing to worry about Napoli this season. Although Napoli are no longer a scudetto candidate but yes, with Napoli still able to compete strongly in the top six basically it is very good for Napoli in situations and conditions like in this moment.

I would say it was the right decision not just because of the results but because he had a clash with the team, the chemistry was just not there and when that is the situation you can fire even the first place teams manager. I mean we should also look at the fact that they fired the manager that won them the title, so not like it would be based on success for them, it has to be a bit about the owner as well I suppose, he has to like the manager and if the manager is not following his orders then even wins do not save their seat.

I think Mazzari will not be permeant deal though, I think they are going to get someone else and hired him for temporarily checking the team, by this summer I think they will find someone else and hire that person for next year, but it is November, most of the managers are already at a team, and there are very few people who could take over and still be good, which is why they probably got the best they could get at the moment.

The teams are close neighbors in the standings and their statistics are also similar, so bookmakers see this game as equal:

2.66 - 3.45 - 2.62

But I will most likely (depending on how successful I am in betting on national team games) bet on Napoli because the change of coach should spur the team. At least in the short term, Napoli must play at their best. And 2.62 is a good compensation for the risk.

In terms of intrigue, a 1-1 result or a Juventus victory would be the ideal outcome of this game. If Inter wins, it will practically be the end of the race for the title. Otherwise, Milan and Napoli will have a chance to join the race again. Although in the next round Milan plays Fiorentina, and Napoli plays Atalanta, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose points.
A rare case, but the next tour will be a tour where all the top 6 teams play among themselves.

I have honestly never considered a Juventus Turin loss in this game as the end of the title race. If that was the case, it could have been called a day whenever a team was 5 points ahead in any league. It would still be a 2-ball game. Juventus Turin could just get back in track and keep winning their games and there is only one loss needed and Inter Milan would be in striking distance. I agree that it would destroy a lot of the excitement in the league for the moment, but it would not mean the title for Inter just yet.

Theoretically, you can lose any advantage, but if Inter wins now, I think their quotes will be about 1.4. And this will be quite logical - 13 games + won personal matches is a distance where luck has very little meaning and it is difficult to blame the current situation in the tournament on it. If one team is better than others in such a segment, then it will be more likely that after completing another similar segment, its advantage will increase. But I agree that it won’t be exactly the end, but close to it.

Obviously the advantage would grow by a lot and the bookmakers would take that into account, but since it is early season there could still come some more volatility into the performance of any team. Napoli had such a strong start last season and yet they ended up with 10 games they did not win. Any performances of the beginning of the season can't simply be interpolated until the end of the season. I know that you know that, but still two draws for Inter and two wins for Juventus would make the fight so close again. But let's wait for this game and then continue our discussion. Wink

If you view what Napoli are playing in this summer, you will be convince that they don't have the strength to return back to first position in the Italy serie A table because, their performance is very poor and their coach is not doing anything to show what will make their fans believe that they can still improve before the end of the tournament. There are many people that will not predict for the favour of Napoli in their next game because, Atlanta know how to be strong in their home to make the game difficult for their opponent to lose goals and points that will make them to achieve victory at the end of the game.

I don't think Napoli coach can help the team to grow higher in this summer because, the players are lacking many things in this summer that is making them to struggle with small teams and, it will lead them to end up in 5th position in this tournament.

Rudi Garcia already reduced the mentality of the players and the club , getting back to the top won't be an easy feat to climb and achieve considering how improved Juventus and Inter Milan have been over the past few match games in the Seria A.
It's been finally confirmed that Rudi Garcia has been sacked and will.no longer continue the management of the club. I hope to see improvement ahead of the season and since they'll be facing Real Madrid in the next two games.

Ending fifth position might be an understatement, they could not fail to qualify for any of the European Competitions next season, amongst the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
