Empoli is certainly even very lucky to be able to actually win one match. They were able to score one goal and the opponent was not able to score at all. And after watching them play so far in this season, I am actually pretty surprised that they were even able to score that one goal.

The way they have performed, it feels like they are definitely going to get relegated this season. How can a team actually score, only one goal after playing so many matches? At this point, I am actually going to say that they do not deserve to stay in this league and they definitely deserve to actually get relegated.

Osimhen is really out due to thigh injury and we don't even know when he would be able to recover. This is horrible news for a Napoli which is trying to stand up and fight harder. Rudi Garcia can have a more difficult time in the attacking line from now on. He is already criticized for not being able to make an satisfying start.

Maybe they can still make progress and win smaller games without Osimhen. But as for the biggest games of the league this injury could cause them extra difficulty in dealing with those teams. They haven't even been able to deal with such teams in Osimhen's presence though.

Everything changed for Napoli in Serie A and they are from the good form they had in the last season. Fiorentina's first game results are quite remarkable, but that also has to do with the game against Napoli, in which they had 3 shots on target and a 100% efficiency rate. 3 shots, 3 goals. I am not convinced that they will be able to maintain this efficiency for a long time and I rather see them in the upper midfield of the table. AC Milan and Inter Milan are my favorites for this season and then of course there is still Napoli and Juventus Turin. Napoli is too strong too fail. This doesn't mean they will defend the Scudetto, but a failure isn't equal to any rank except for the title. If they finish 3rd, it can still be a good season.
