I don't think have not been consistent in their game, Lazio are trying I'm the series-A and they are holding the 5th position in the standings. Normally Lazio his suppose to win Sassuolo because Lazio is more stronger than Sassuolo. Sassuolo is in the 17th position, their is no way Lazio would not have won.

First victory for Lazio in 2023 and I'm so glad in happened kinda early as another draw or defeat today would have hurt them a lot. They are in 5th place right now with both As.Roma and Atalanta chasing for that European spot but I have faith Lazio can keep 5th place.

Roma vs Fiorentina tonight is a must see in my opinion because neither of this team will play for a draw so I'm expecting goals from both of them. Grin

Today I can't say that Lazio were very impressive. They had big difficulties especially in the first half. Sassuolo were so comfortable with creating many opportunities to score a goal. But they were just very incapable at finishing. Especially Lauriente wasted many goal opportunities. Lazio were really lucky about the first goal as they won a penalty right before the end of the first half. Pegolo was nearly saving it but the ball went just below his arms. The second goal was due to a defensive mistake. Tressoldi's mistake cost Sassuolo really a lot.

This was still an important win for Lazio considering that they didn't get any for three weeks before this match. But they had better work on their defense more if they don't want to have serious problems during the rest of the season.

Indeed, Lazio is very inconsistent especially this season they rarely even win. Even in their last match they had to get a draw against Empoli and also suffered a defeat against Lecce. These results are very far from good, but in my opinion at least now Lazio has won again and can shift Atalanta in 5th place in the standings.
