Good you are bringing this up, kudos. It is interesting because you are actually right that it makes things complicated when coaches behave in an arrogant way based on success they had far back in the past. It is basically bad to behave in an arrogant way, but Mourinho takes it to the next level from time to time, which I agree is bad. Some will like it because they find it entertaining to watch, but they are probably the people who also like to watch Youtube videos where other people get bullied.

Despite not clinching a top four finish, Mourinho time at Roma has brought the squad improvement and respect. Due to the club lack of significant investment in new players, he was able to succeed with the roster at his disposal. Their success has been significantly influenced by his coaching ability. His accomplishments in various leagues, in the opinion of some younger football fans are nonetheless insignificant. They criticise his attitude as well, pointing to instances like the one with referee Taylor. They view football as merely a game and they believe that any animosity should stay on the pitch. Despite these divergent viewpoints, Mourinho influence on Roma and the respect he enjoys in the footballing community cannot be disputed.
That's true and I totally agree, the character he has had a huge impact on the club and the player as a whole. Even though he has a slightly different approach when compared to other coaches, Morinho deserves to be called "The Special One". Twice winning the European Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan made him highly respected, remembering when they won the UCL the two clubs coached by Mourinho were not superior on paper and it was great to be able to come out as champions.

AS Roma are very lucky with Mourinho existence, if only Mourinho gets enough budget to shop for players. It is certain that Roma can easily top the Serie A standings until the end of the season, his prestige at the club is as strong as Pep Guardiola at Man City.

From the reports that he rejected the offer to join a Saudi Arabian League who tabled a very lucrative offer for the Argentine, Lautaro Martinez has shown how much he loves Inter Milan and his determination to defend the badge of the club which is very rare in modern day footballers who are mostly playing for the financial returns instead of the passion for football.
Inter Milan's management as a matter of urgency should try and meet the player's demands in extending his contract with the the club.

however Lautaro Martinez's new contract with Inter has yet to be signed. but Lautaro Martinez has also made a statement that he will stay at Inter this season. and Inter also don't want to lose the players who helped them play so well last season.
now the two just had to wait and study the new contract. Of course there will be several offers for players in the new season who are willing to stay at the club after a tempting offer from Arab came.
I think this is a contract renewal step regarding Lautaro Martinez salary increase, along with his good performance and new responsibility as captain of Inter Milan next season. It is possible that without a raise Martinez will leave this summer for the SPL, and will receive ten times as much as Inter are currently offering.

One way for Inzaghi to keep his players at the club is to offer a new contract for the player from Argentina.

If Lautaro Martinez really rejected the offer of the Saudi League club, then Lautaro Martinez should not demand Inter to be able to increase his salary with a large salary. Lol! Because if Lautaro Martinez refuses an offer with a large salary from a Saudi league club, then that means Lautaro Martinez has high loyalty to Inter. Therefore, by having high loyalty to the club, Lautaro Martinez should not question the salary he received at Inter. Because for me, the reason Lautaro Martinez refused the offer of the Saudi league club was not about money, but about his young age which was certainly not the time for Lautaro Martinez to leave Europe.

Lautaro Martinez still waiting contract extension from Inter and he believe Inter still working on it and Martinez is Inter top scorer last season and although he got several offers from other clubs but he has showed his commitment and loyality with Inter and the latest is Martinez was refuse Arabian club although they were offering huge money but it doesn't make him tempted to move because Martinez was happy at Inter and he want to staying much longer

~snip~
Of course, it is very rare for us to meet a player with high loyalty when the onslaught of abundant money is offered by the Saudi league team and this is the right decision if Lautaro Martinez wants to stay at Inter. It must be admitted that the role of Lautaro Martinez, who sometimes becomes the second captain on the field, can make his colleagues more motivated and he is very excited in all the matches that require him to score more goals for the Inter win. I hope that Inter will give me a contract extension of quite a long duration and that would really appreciate Lautaro Martinez's loyalty to the club.

I think that after Mourinho took charge of the Roma team, a lot of progress has been seen and now Roma are one of the teams that is highly calculated in Serie A, despite their failure to enter the top 4 positions, this team has developed much better.
I see very many shortcomings in this team and Mourinho was forced to do the best with the squad as it is because this team did not spend big money to recruit players and it must be admitted that with a squad that is what Mourinho is able to make the Roma team respected by his opponents .
So far Roma are very lucky to have a coach like Mourinho, he is a very qualified coach.
So many comments signing Mourinho praises here but out here not everyone thinks highly of the man especially younger football fans. These younger football fans do not see the several championships he has won as any big deal because they feel it is a league that no one cares about, like the UEFA Europa Conference League.  Despite the positive relationship between his managerial skill and Roma's success, they younger football fans still have a problem with him and his attitude. One particular example that they cited was the video of him that surface online showing where he attacked referee Taylor in car park. They feel that it whatever happens on the pitch, at the end of the day its just that, football. A sport where you will always have a bit of luck or bad luck and he shouldn't have to carry that bitterness outside of the stadium.
Younger ones do not remember the decade long period where he managed Porto, Inter, Chelsea and Real Madrid. When he was on a roll like that and improved the teams so much and won UCL titles with them and looked like he was doing amazing, that was long time ago now of course but the ones who clearly remember those periods would tell the same thing, he was the best manager of that period.

Of course he then started to be not that great, even when given great teams he started to be bad, and that resulted with him going as low as Roma now, whereas his rivals like Pep ended up getting treble last year. Do not consider Pep manages City and that's why he is better, Mourinho had some great teams and failed, that's why he is not managing great teams nowadays.

Roma under Jose Mourinho coaching had a pretty good impact on their progress, be it an increase in their strength or performance in Serie A. Last season, Roma almost managed to close the season in the top 4. But the last few matches at the end of last season Roma lost a lot of points in a match that was relatively easy for them, which made Roma ranking shifted by another team. But Roma are still a strong team if we see jose mourinho is still with them because mourinho needed time to bring the scudetto trophy for Roma.
They are improving but Mourinho wants to have bigger budget for transfers and Roma failed to give him. They are not a rich club and still in their plans to construct a new stadium. Roma now is like Arsenal years ago but they fortunately have Mourinho to keep up their good performances.

Quote
In this transfer window Roma management made several changes in the depth of their squad in order to compete more strongly in next season's competition. Indeed, Jose Mourinho main target is the top 4 places because they want to experience the Champions League competition. To be honest Roma have that chance next season if they can play consistently every game.
I see they mostly sign with free players and players joined them in this summer are like tier 2 players. They are not star players like Dybala but Roma and Mourinho must build up their squad with those players and grow them up because with limited budget, they can not touch star players especially when transfer market is very chaos nowadays.

It is truly perplexing to fathom how a club can anticipate commendable performance from their team without providing the manager with ample financial resources. It’s not like they are giving José Mourinho money like Arsenal and not getting the results. They are not giving him any money and expecting him to bring in the results. Of course, I am not saying that he is a great manager or the best manager ever. We have seen some manager do the unthinkable and achieve more than what was expected with a mediocre team. But that does not happen every day. They will have to spend money to get results. Bringing in players for free is only going to work for so long. I know some people will also say that if it was any other manager he could have probably done better with the same team. But for now they have Jose Mourinho and they will have to work with what they currently have.

Now that they have been suspended from European competition, they will have more time to focus on Serie A. It's not an advantage, but they have to make the best of their problems. Yes they performed well as a team, but not as management which we can't help but say that they are more responsible for what Juventus have experienced this season.
In fact, this will still be an advantage for Juventus, as a less busy schedule will allow them to fully focus on Serie A in order to secure a place in the Champions League for the 2024/2025 season. Moreover, the Conference League is not such a prestigious tournament to set itself the goal of winning it, and in the end it would not bring big income for the team. Perhaps even without this, Serie A would still remain a priority tournament for Juventus.
Not qualifying for the Champions League has been good for Juventus. Because the team has not been able to dominate Serie A for a long time. They have not played well in Serie A in the last three seasons. And now the condition of the Juventus team is not good. The party is not stable. And so the team cannot perform consistently. For this reason next season Juventus will have enough time to stabilize the team and focus only on Serie A. If Juventus aims only for Serie A. And if the performance of Juventus players is stable. Then maybe Juventus will be able to dominate Serie A again. But there is no way to say for sure whether Juventus' performance will be stable next season.
It wasn't good for Juventus at all because when they don't get a ticket for the champions league they surely won't get more income from their sponsors and their players will lose motivation for the next season because they tried to get the chance to be in this tournament but at the end, they failed because of this punishment and this can defiantly have negative effected on this team.

I agree with you. As the team failed to qualify for the Champions League, Juventus may not be able to earn extra money from sponsors next season. That's right.

However, they have not fared well in Serie A in the last few seasons. And if they don't do well in Serie A next season, Juventus will lose more money from sponsors in the future. That's why I say it's good for Juventus not to qualify for the Champions League. Maybe one season they will get a little less money from sponsors. But if they can solve the internal problems of the team. And if able to win the Serie A title. Then Juventus will be able to do well in Serie A and Champions League again in the future. Although they suffered financially in one season, it turned out well for them in the long run.

Another game for intermilan gonna come soon. Intermilan will face PSG. It will become the right time to test intermilan's new squad. We do know that if PSG was also still building its squad again. No chance for intermilan to lose against PSG.
Inter will be also using its new striker marcus thuram to be combined with lautaro martinez.  It will be very interesting to watch the combination between thuram - martinez. It's also very interesting to see how PSG will able to answer a challenge that will come from intermilan.

I expect galtier to use the same squad as the previous match. There will be no rotations gonna happen in the lineup of PSG. It's caused by PSG is trying to get its chemistry back again between any players on its club.
This gonna be a debut for marcus thuram in intermilan after he has signed to replace lukaku's position.

As for Mourinho he hasn't still made much progress in the Serie A with Roma so far. That progress has been made well in European cups surely though. First winning the Europa Conference League title and right after that making it to the finale in the Europa League. They could have won that one as well if it weren't for Sevilla's great work.

But the board will surely expect Mourinho to finish a season in top 4 indeed. It isn't an impossible task for Roma. They just need to be more consistent with the players they have currently. I don't think their squad isn't adequate or so to perform this task as well.

I agree that AS Roma has made a comeback after Jose Mourinho took over on the bench at this club. We know that several seasons before Jose Mourinho arrived, AS Roma had experienced setbacks. But after Jose Mourinho came the club improved again and started to show their quality again.

What impresses me about Jose Mourinho is that he can maximize the team's performance even if only with players that I think are not as good as those of other clubs. But under coach Jose Mourinho all AS Roma players could show extraordinary qualities. I think if AS Roma are willing to spend more money to get better players then this club will really be the underdog.

I dont know what made Roma financial mess because to be honest I do not follow the development of this team a little but if you look at the data in the transfer market it seems that Roma sells more players but recruits few players and all of them are obtained for free and dont have good performance.
even though Mourinho has only a lot of experience but raising this team with not very strong players I think it will be a bit difficult. the strength of the team is not only in the coach but also must be from quality players who have good talent to make a good contribution in every match.
and we see what happens this summer and I hope Mourinho can stick with his humble players.

What Mourinho did to the referee was ridiculous. Because the decisions that referee made in the final were worth discussing, no doubt, but they were not worth it to insult the referee and attack him as harsh as Mourinho did and now comes the most important point: Mourinho himself often says in interviews that it is just a sport and nothing else. He was asked when he was fired at Manchester United and he said it is just a sport and everyone should calm down. But in his position he has to know that when he attacks a referee like that and it goes viral, that the referee can't just go to bed, wake up and start a new happy day. Freaking out like that can cause substantial damage to a whole career while it does nothing to Mourinho's life.

It is known from previous discussions that I don't like Mr. Jose Mourinho
but not for his way of doing it, or for his rough character: he's expensive and not as good as he would like to believe
this is yet another proof of his lack of skill

Another proof of his lack of skill as a soccer coach or as a negotiator? Tongue

In that regard I would see a lack of skill on the part of the clubs signing him and making him rich. I think his arrogance and whatever he is doing to present in the media is part of his negotiation strategy. He still has the successes of the past to his name, but I agree that he has been overestimated for a long time now. Though once a coach has his place in the system, you seem them again and again signing good contracts and it doesn't even matter whether they win trophies or not.

Which is a very stupid thing, you can find better trainers around for a much better price.
I always go for efficiency if I can, and hiring this guy here as a coach isn't efficient at all, it's just a pointless waste.
With this I'm not saying it's a donkey, I'm just saying it's too expensive for what it's worth.

Lautaro Martinez loves to be a part of Inter now. He doesn't see any meaning in deciding to leave the team now either. He has technically 3 more years to go here. But I still understand his intention by asking for a new contract if it is true. He is making the same amount of money with Hakan Calhanoglu right now - 11.1 million euros per year. I believe Martinez is the most critical player for this team now and he must also be feeling the same way. This must be why he would like to earn the most amount of money here.

I think Inter will continue to give what he wants not to lose him earlier than they expect. He is one of the players who are absolutely worth it.

Last season Roma wasted a lot of energy in the Europa League, so they finished poorly in Serie A. Perhaps last season can be called a bad season for Mourinho compared to the previous one, when Roma won the Conference League. I would like to see them in the Champions League next season, but to do that they need to avoid making mistakes in Serie A.

For transfer news indeed Inter still targetting Folarin Balogun and Alvaro Morata but if the negotiation process is deadlocked then Inzaghi will attempts to gets West Ham player Gianluca Scamacca and they have good chances to gets this player because Scamacca want to leave West Ham after spend poor season with that team and West Ham are open negotiation with the price 40 millions this price much cheaper than Folarin Balogun price tag because Arsenal want 50 millions for them

As I said before, they have to make the most of their "sanctioned" moment which results in a less busy schedule this coming season. Serie A is the main focus apart from the local competitions they participate in every season.
Yes given their decline in the last few seasons in Serie A, they can make this moment to rise.
