I was laughing so hard a few month ago when I saw how poorly Juventus is playing and what awful game-style they have after they once again rehired Allegri but now , I'm not laughing anymore because this system of Allegri really works with Juventus as they are back on track for Scudetto which is absolutely insane! If somehow they win tonight against Napoli , they will be only 4 points behind Napoli.

For Napoli , this should be the most important game for them and the entire squad should be focus on getting 3 points today or the Serie A title will be much harder for them to obtain and another dream of Napoli as a city to become champions, will be ruined Sad.

Well, Napoli has built its reputation very well, it has great performance compared to the other teams, even though I'm a fan of Juve, I would like Napoli not to drop too much, because these players get along very well, but I can't deny that before the bad events, this weteam had a lot to rise up with, and I like to give this team an example for all those who are in crisis, if this goes well, both Juve and many teams from other leagues can get ahead, and that's what This team was in very bad shape financially and at the managerial level, but on the field there are no problems except to play as they should, which is fine.

What Coppa Italia exit says about Napoli’s title race

Quote
The ecstasy of Napoli’s stunning 5-1 annihilation of Juventus was tempered slightly by a wholly unexpected Coppa Italia defeat against Cremonese that somehow showed what the Partenopei need to be crowned Serie A champions this season, writes Stephen Kasiewicz.

Tears were shed in the aftermath of the round of 16 loss at Stadio Diego Maradona as a vastly altered Partenopei team – which was eventually bolstered by several first-team regulars as substitutes – eventually fell to a huge upset as the Grigiorossi celebrated an unlikely triumph on penalties.

The Coppa Italia was probably not high on the list of priorities for coach Luciano Spalletti who nevertheless expressed his dissatisfaction on a night to forget for the Gli Azzurri.

Well everyone or almost everyone has Neapolitan fever! It cannot be denied that this team breathes an air of triumph, for now we cannot deny that it is a dream team, its fans are excited.

this year the Italian championship is very competitive, leaving aside Napoli who are massacring everyone, from second position to seventh position the points of difference are very few, i
Yes, it is undeniable that positions in 2 to 6 are very competitive. Moreover, the pin is only very small and adrift. But actually, this will not mean that much if they are still in the top 4 because they still enter the UCL. As for Rome and Atalanta, they must continue to fight so they can take over positions above them so can move up positions. but of course, it won't be easy. so maybe their target is to get into the Champions League. Because if the target is to become the holder of the Serie A trophy, maybe this will be a little more difficult because of the significant difference in points with Napoli.

Chiesa is one of their best players and it is expected from him to do the best. For me he is same as Mbappe but didnt come up to that level yet but if he gets more playing time i can see him at that level really soon.
He has to start getting used to it again because we know that Chiesa hasn't played for quite a while so he needs to get used to it again so he can play well again.
But with this one goal, it is clear that he hopes to continue to develop properly after a long recovery phase that will soon occur. Hopefully he can return to being the backbone for Juventus when Juventus are currently still in a slightly complicated condition even though their performance has improved.

He was the hero of the game and of course this is very good.
He still needs adjustments to get his performance back after not playing for quite a while but indeed the one goal he made in this match clearly gives him enormous hope in the future. He is still very young and he can still show back his skills that were lost a year due to healing.
Monza played very well and even they could have dominated but it wasn't enough for them in this game.
Juventus were very lucky that Federico Chiesa managed to score a goal so that they won and made Juventus get additional points at the top of the standings. As long as Juventus still have young players like Federico Chiesa, there is still a further victory that Juventus might be able to get in the next match because there is good potential from Federico Chiesa.

Total chaos in juventus , they even still feel they did nothing wrong and going to go for appeal in the next couple days lol , i am pretty sure the appeal will get rejected and the 15 deduction remain there to put juventus on 10th and even losing the chance to play in european competition.

Manipulating the financial accounting are indeed a fatal mistake, they are in a scandal for one more time now.

Not a single rule exists for the act of selling a player.

Juventus got punished because they sold players for an overpriced prize, while not a single 3 parts entity can speak in a 2 person deal.

If I want to sell a player for 4 million and you wanna buy, who can tell this is too much money for the player? Noone.

In fact, in recent years we got a lot of these trials here in Italy with Inter, and Milan involved and they always said not guilty.

The biggest opponent to Napoli is their coach. He is known for underperforming in second part of the season. When he was Inter coach they were always first or near first place until January, and then the bad series started. They deserve it to win until know but lets see if they can show championship mentality.
Don't compare him when he was a manager (coach) of Inter Milan. The situation is very different, now he managed a very good team and this team is quite stable in performance. I am sure he can successfully lead Napoli to be the winner of Serie A this season. As long as there are no key players moving to other teams, I believe Napoli can keep their good performance. IMO, the biggest challenge of Napoli is to defend their players during this January transfer window. It will be a big problem if some key players move to other teams because of an offer of a bigger salary.

It's not only when he Inter coach, also happened when he was Roma coach and lost the championship in last games to Inter, when Pazzini scored agains them. I hope they win and he becomes a winner like Ranieri did.

Juventus will be deducted 15 points because there has been tampering with transfer values of players. So the difference with Napoli is about 25 points. Difficult to catch up. This would also drop them to 11th place in the ranking. This will be a dramatic season for Juventus, who now have to do their best to secure qualification for the EL. They have made a big mess at the club, in every way. Financially but also from a sporting point of view. They have now also suffered serious image damage. Such things can also have consequences for players who now ultimately choose not to move to Juventus.
A big blow after a dramatic recovery and an approach to secure a Champions League spot.. Now back to the 10th place with only 22 points and a minimum of 12 points away from any european competition.
Such punishment will make it difficult for the team to recover this season..

Juventus were penalized 15 points by the sentence, now the championship can be said to be totally over, do you think it is the right choice or would you have chosen other penalties?  I think it's fair as a penalty, even if the championship has never really started for them this year.
at least juventus was not punished and relegated to serie B of course a 15 point deduction is a better punishment even though it was bitter, but it looks like this will be an important lesson for juventus so that this case does not repeat in the future

They got a penalty for a rule that did not exist, with a sentence already in the air 1 month ago before the trial and for a thing, they are doing everyone in Italy.
It is absurd, we will see what will happen now.

Fair penalty? for a rule that does not exist?

That's really creul for Juventus, this team isn't lucky at all this year, after the catastrophic beggening in all competitions Juventus started to show some signs of strength in the last 10 matches but all what they did got destroyed by this penalty, we can clearly say that their season is gone and they must start focusing on the next season right now

Rather than what was previously rumored, this point deduction is quite in favor of Juventus. if they are punished for relegation this season, it is much worse and will cost them quite a bit of support from sponsors. still in Serie A even though it has to drop deep into the mid-table, no problem. The season is still quite long, Juventus can catch up at this time. although it's quite difficult to win a trophy, if it's only for chasing the top 6 or 5, it looks like Juventus can do it.

18 games seems like a long distance, but in fact, given Napoli's lead, it's not. You just need to understand that if even now all competitors start playing with the same strength as Napoli and go at the same pace, then Napoli will become champions 3 rounds before the finish line. That is, we can say that there are 15 games left for Napoli, during which they must play at least as good as their pursuers. Now suppose that one of the pursuers suddenly manages to play much stronger than Napoli (there are no prerequisites for this) - this will still not give good chances for the championship, since there is only one personal meeting, and the advantage of Napoli is 9-10 points.
It is true, Napoli only need 15 more wins to claim the title this season. So far it is very possible to do so, but Napoli must be able enough to avoid injury to their players so that their journey to the title is not hampered.

The problem of injuries is very worrying especially because so far it has cost most players points in important matches. Milan, Inter and Juventus have looked underwhelming this season after trailing Napoli 9-10 points, but anything looks possible as winning everything in the next 18 matches is still difficult. I agree Napoli have a high chance for the title, and so far they don't have any competitors who can really hinder their progress.

The third goal came after a few minutes I wrote here and indeed, as I said, the crucial minutes were really difficult to control.
Inter deservedly won this match even though Milan's dominance was not in doubt but the discipline of the Inter players was really very good and we have to admit that Inter's defense in this match was really very good.
I am very excited that Inter has won the Supercoppa Italiana for second year in a role year. I think they have gotten their revenge against AC Milan for 2011 defeat. In this match they were the dominant side. Dzeko is underrated striker and he getting better by age.
But on the other hand, in this match, there are actually a number of notes that Inzaghi has to make because even if they play well with their defensive scheme in this match, it's not certain that they will get the same thing in another match.
Their midfield is still a little difficult to maintain a pattern of play and the flow of the ball is sometimes hampered there even though I think the players' passing is really good for them.

In many previous seasons, Napoli has always had problems maintaining the consistency of its wins and maintaining its chances of remaining leading the standings. Even if at the moment Napoli doesn't have much of a challenge in first place, people will still doubt them in the end. The season is still a long way off, another 18 matches between each team and that is still a lot. Napoli's first half of the season was good, but it's not certain that they can be this good in the second half of the season.

KTCampions, I can confirm your assumptions and it is true that Napoli can really be expected to do this this season. Regardless of the previous seasons they still failed, but this season they should have managed to top the standings until the end of the season. After what they did in 18 match, I believe another 15 to win is very possible for Napoli.

If Napoli win the remaining 15/18 matches, then that means the title will be for them this season. That's a possibility..

The match is almost over and the score is 2-1 now to Juventus.
In terms of ball possession at the moment they are losing a lot but seeing the young players playing actually this is still good enough for them even though the opponent is Monza.
Yeah, this victory brings them to the quarter-final to face Lazio, not really bad, and actually, Juventus should have a higher chance to win although it will be quite tough. Juventus' play actually seemed a little worrying as Monza seemed to be in control of the game. But, in the second half, Juventus seemed like making better movement and attacks.
I think that is quite reasonable because looking at the composition of the players they have fielded, actually this is not very good for them, but indeed this victory can make them more confident, especially for the young and reserve players who played in this match. This is a good moment to hone the abilities of young players in terms of mentality and playing hours.
On the other hand, there are a number of players who are developing quite well, such as Chiesa who has regained the momentum to score goals and of course their young striker Kean who was given more time in this game.

There's also no guarantee that Napoli can be consistent until the end of the season, the competition is still very long and there are lots of matches remaining that allow anything to happen, I don't think that Napoli will still be as it is until the end of the season, there are many possibilities if their performance will decrease.
I think there are several teams who have the same chance to win the Scudetto, not only Inter Milan but Juventus also have the same chance.

and the important wins that Inter Milan have won in their last few matches have made it possible for them to improve their mentality which will have a positive impact on the results they will get for the next matches, that's why I say there are many possibilities and advantages for Inter Milan to be consistent seize positive outcomes that will benefit them.
Maybe it is a difficult thing for Napoli to be as good as they have been so far, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. I agree that there is a possibility of them not being as good as they have been, and that is a normal thing because they have been unrealistically good, like Milan is playing at a level of a champion so far, if you look historically, Milan has been good enough to be a champion, and Napoli is even beyond that right now.

So, it would make sense for them to come down there a bit. But, just because they may not be as good as they have been, doesn't mean that they can't be good enough to win a title neither, I think that could happen.
