I'm not sure this transfer will be realized, Lautaro Martinez is still very young and he is the most influential player in the Inter Milan team, of course it will be very difficult for the team to let him go and also if Lautaro Martinez is willing to move then his football career will decrease greatly.
Financially, the Inter Milan team is not doing well right now, but selling key players is not a good option, it will only make the team worse off.
Personally I still firmly believe that Lautaro Martinez will not move to the Saudi Arabian team and he will remain at Inter Milan for the next few seasons.
Inter Milan is in a difficult position as they try to hold onto Lautaro Martinez a key member of their frontline despite the tempting offers from the Saudi Pro League. There are worries that the club finances may not be in the best shape necessitating the sale of top players to improve them. The chance that Martinez would decide to stay with the team especially when the vice chairman mentioned selecting him as the new captain gives Inter Milan hope. Martinez might be encouraged to stay by this increased responsibility and Inzaghi encouragement might be crucial in persuading him to continue his journey with the team.
I mean they are not really spending all that much money, that's their problem. Italian clubs are having some of the worst financial troubles I have seen in a while, and if any person comes out and just buys one of them out, and spend money like they do with other leagues, they could dominate the league very easily. That would be boring for the league and other teams of course, but a team that spends 100 million a year, every single year, would definitely be something that would be insanely well regarded without an issue.
I hope that it can reach to a point where it doesn't have to be like that, but if it is, then I hope it is not just one team but multiple teams so that we can see some competition and not like PSG situation.
