Season 2023/24, I think there are 3 teams that deserve to be favourites, Napoli, Inter Milan and Juventus (if there are no other cases) (IMO). Even though Inter Milan is the main favorite because of its success in reaching the UCL Final, Juventus and Napoli can be tough opponents for Inter. Meanwhile, AC Milan, even they have brought in several players, I am still not sure about their new squads. If AC Milan can become champions, I think it will be a "surprise" no more.
not for Napoli. Not that I doubt Napoli's performance but after Spalletti left Napoli I doubted Rudi Garcia was able to provide a consistent strategy like Spalletti?
even though this summer I hope that at least Spalletti will still be with Napoli for the next season to try again in the champions league because I know that Spalletti is planning something good for Napoli but however this is Napoli's management policy.

in a way why is everyone never talking about Lezio ? Lazio is one of the teams that has performed well from last season and Maurizio Sarri will have the opportunity to compete with the top teams in the summer.

A policy that I consider wrong, a team that works with a coach that works and is good, don't break it like that
This is just for some disagreements, we are at a level where we should be professionals, so I honestly don't understand the management of Napoli

Can't wait for the next match in Serie A, I see the schedule that is mentioned by TBD (to be discussed), Juventus will be my team of choice forever, I'm sure about that. I'm willing to bet on Juventus this season, and I'll show my bet later. And I hope that Juventus will sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Domenico Berardi soon, although nothing is certain yet.
I also hope that Juventus will be able to win the title next season because last season, unfortunately, they experienced the problem of deducting points which made them fail to compete for the league title and also failed to get a UCL ticket, but that will be a lesson for Juventus not to break anything because they are worried that points will be deducted again. that is not necessary, hope that Juventus will soon rise again next season because of last season's failure.

I also hope that with several players who leave Juventus, they can get a replacement soon, because of course Juventus need quality players, including young players, it is very important for performance as well as stamina, it doesn't have to be players who are a little old because that won't be good even though they have a lot of experience, but it's better quality young players. I also still support Juventus to win the league next season.

The thing is, we cannot judge something simply based on feelings. I actually like the fact that you said that probably your assessment might not be objective because you hate José Mourinho.

Anyway, I also don't like him that much because I don’t think he is a very good coach if he does not have a very good squad. It is true that he did a decent job with Roma, but it cost a lot of money. He also knows that. He is trying to build a squad that is actually going to be good enough for him. And that's why he is spending money. Because he knows without a good squad, he will not be able to improve. At least not at the level which people might expect from him.

I don't judge by feeling
I judge by the results
I pay a lot, I want a lot.. did I get what I paid in the case of Jose Mourinho? No
look at Roma's performances before and during Mourinho, they are exactly the same

I also think that he is certainly overpaid and also overhyped. Whatever he has achieved so far in his career was with really great squad. He achieved things with squad that any coach could have done well with. But at the same time, it is also true that he has certainly done well with Roma in the last season. Maybe not as well as some people expected.
But I will say that as his first season as the coach of Roma. He certainly did a decent job. I think Roma is going to give him time. If he is given enough time and support money, he will be able to achieve better results in the next season. I also believe Roma should not change the manager right now. That is going to affect the chemistry of the team badly in my opinion. I am always going to say that instead of changing managers, they should give the manager which is currently managing the team a little more time.
sure did a decent job, but how much did it cost?
surely it was even better for less
shoulders are around us, I would give it a little thought

in any case, I don't like Jose, I can't stand him, so I don't know if my assessments are objective

I think Chelsea set a selling price too high for Lukaku which in the end was very difficult for Inter to accept. Lukaku is still good, but I don't think his value is higher than 30 million euros, but Chelsea want Inter to pay more. Loan options are being discussed, but it seems Chelsea just want to sell rather than put him on loan again.

Inter have so far not looked like they are going to force Lukaku's transfer at the value asked by Chelsea, that's because Inter seem to want to save a lot of money for other plans. Chelsea had to make a tough decision about Lukaku but I think 30 million euros is a good value for a 30 year old striker.

Ofcourse Inter Milan will be reluctant to buy the Chelsea man who is past his prime years for £30 million. Such amount for a 30 year old isn’t common, the fact that Chelsea prefer to sell him permanently rather than accepting a loan will make it even difficult to strike a deal. Somehow they will have to find a way around the transfer fee, Chelsea will have to reduce the fee for Inter Milan to get the player this summer.
Lukaku might be in his 30s but when it comes to delivering performance he surely doesn't disappoint and I think inter will be well aware of this as lukaku was a prominent figure in their achievement during their last season performance although they didn't secure the title but reaching the finals was a major achievement for them and making a permanent deal  with chelsea at £30 million for lukaku won't be a wrong move if they know his Worth.
I don't think Lukaku has played as well as he used to. His performance is much worse than it was five years ago. Remember the final game against Manchester City. Lukaku wasn't on the field from the start of the game and only came on for 15 minutes. And in those 15 minutes he made a lot of mistakes. If it wasn't for him, Inter would have had a chance to win.

News from Inter Milan and Onana is he is getting from the exit door and Manchester United because Inter Milan rejected the 50m offer from Manchester United and they say the offer is not good enough for them.
However, Inter Milan knows they are going to lose Onana in this transfer window and they won't have this player for the next season and that's why I think Inter Milan should start seeking replacements for the next season.

You can hope that if juventus will not be facing the same problem as last season. Juventus could able to participate in the UCL if it has not been sanctioned by FGIC. Everything gonna be OK as long as FGIC will not make further intervention to prevent juventus next season. I saw that juventus agrees with FGIC not to repeat the same mistake again in the future, but FGIC may also be able to change its mind. The sanction for juventus can still continue if that's gonna happen.
I'll put intermilan as my favorite one for next season. The impressive performance from intermilan in the last season makes me feel so good about the club.

Romelu Lukaku is a big striker that is always serving as big threat  to any opposing defense he's playing against and his goalscoring prowess in front of goal is also another factor that stands him out among other strikers.
Inter Milan knows about all these features of Lukaku and how important of a player he'll for them be if he continues ba part of their club but their current financial issues doesn't permit them to outrightly sign him and that's why they're opting for another loan spell but Chelsea wants to an outright buy out of the Belgian. But I think from the reports so far, Chelsea would allow him continue to be a loan player at Inter of no serious suitor comes for his services before the end of the summer transfer window

I checked on google the first match will be August 20th with your favorite team facing Udinese, still more than a month before the match is held, and Juventus are still in the transfer market to get players even though they are not like other clubs that look very intense could be a problem of funds making Juventus calmer in the transfer market. Juventus had more positive results when facing Udinese, and as the home team they will try to make the first game a match with 3 points, and Juventus this season with several squad changes because some of their core players have left the club and the new players they have brought in are still in question as to whether they will be able to bring this team up
Juventus experienced quite a bad thing last season because sanctions and point deductions prevented them from playing in the Champions League, this season they will fix all the bad things that happened last season.

We will have our own opinions and we will definitely have our favorite team to win the upcoming season. But I'm more curious about Napoli now, not without reason because of course I saw them last season very superior to dominate Serie A, even they could easily claim the Scudetto title. One thing that is striking about them is that they were abandoned by their coach who brought success last season. Of course, that will raise big questions about their performance in the upcoming season with their new coach. So one of the things I'm looking forward to is the performance of last season's defending Serie A champions.
I am also concerned about the club. Napoli had a good season and was expected to at least be in the Champions League finals. But the club's performance began to dwindle close to the end of the season. Luciano Spalletti left the club to get a well-deserved rest handing over to Rudi Garcia. Except if the new coach identifies the reason for the low performance of the club towards the end of the season and fixes it, I am afraid Napoli might not be able to put up a good fight for the Seria A title.

For now, no key players have left the team, and club management is putting effort to retain these players or sell them for good money. Victor Osimhen has been on the radar of many big clubs but these are mere speculations for now because none have made any serious move.

Roma will aim to finish next season in top 4 just as they were aiming the same for the previous season. They couldn't make progress in the Serie A the last time. People were talking about the possibility of Mourinho's leaving but he is staying now. He indeed even turned down a huge offer from Saudi Arabia.

He has one last year left on his contract and Roma's performance will be very important for him to decide his fate. If Roma don't make it to top 4 once again then I don't think the board would like to continue with him. But let's say they won the Europa League title then he can increase the probability of staying.

Although not certain but of course, Mourinho always strives to be able to bring AS Roma to be able to finish in the top four. But unfortunately, Mourinho cannot make AS Roma's performance stable throughout the season. Because so far, Mourinho can only provide good performance for AS Roma only at the beginning of the season, and with good performance that cannot be maintained, of course, AS Roma's position also goes down. In this summer transfer window it also seems that AS Roma are not too aggressively trying to get new players because after all, so far AS Roma have only got two new players through free transfers.

Chelsea certainly don't want to suffer losses after they bought Lukaku from Inter Milan for close to £100 million and it's only natural that they set a price of 30 million for Lukaku in this transfer window this season.

Whatever the amount any clubs buys Lukaku from Chelsea, it would still be a loss for Chelsea because nobody is going to buy him for the 100m that they got him for, not even remotely close.
Nobody is going to offer anything more that 40 million Euros for Lukaku, except clubs from the Saudi league and he has made it care that he doesn't want to go to Saudi Arabia. SO in my opinion, its best for Chelsea to just sell Lukaku at the price that Inter have offered. Chelsea do not want to keep Lukaku so what's the point of dulling the deal. Lukaku would surely be sold and if Chelsea don't sell now they might sell him for a lower price late on in the transfer window.

At this moment Lukaku is actually causing a lot of problems for any team that he is associated with. And I don't think anyone is actually going to want that type of headache on the team. If it was me being a coach of a team I wouldn't have wanted Lukaku to be in the team. At this moment he is just a problem. The problem that needs to be fixed.

It is true that Chelsea really needs to sell him. But Lukaku is causing problems because he is not happy with what deal he is getting. Chelsea has a unique problem on their hand. As much as they are going to delay the cell they are going to get less money.

It looks like the Mourinho era continues for Roma. As you know there were some rumours like PSG could make an offer to him. Mourinho even talked to the board and said that he would inform them about it right away. But he was just among the candidates for PSG of course. In the end we have seen PSG signing a 2-year deal with Luis Enrique. After that a Saudi Arabian team made an enormous offer to Mourinho - 120 million euros for 2 years. But he turned it down as well.

That offer is really unbelievable but it looks like Mourinho is still hungry for success in European football. He still wants to be a part of Roma project now.

Mourinho still have a lot to achieve in the Europa league before he will make another decision to join other teams because there are some trophies he has not lift from his football career which are very important to him to embrace. Roma still need Mourinho next season, because he really help the team to showcase some tactics that made their performance improved despite they didn't win the Italian league title but they performed well. I believe, Mourinho will definitely get it right next season to help Roma to achieve their dream because for someone to turned down such offer, showed that the person know what he or she have to offer in the future that will make the team to celebrate.
