Napoli's problem since the last few seasons is that they can't be consistent until the end of the season, and hopefully they can change that this season.
with their game so far, of course no one doubts that Napoli will be able to win the Scudetto, especially since its competitors are having consistent problems or other things, such as Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus, so far their game is not stable.
Of course if Napoli manages to win the Scudetto this season it will be even more convincing that Serie A is now more competitive and that is a change that many people hope for, because as we know the previous few seasons Serie A was very limited when Juventus dominated.
we'll see after the season will resume. several other clubs will add to their squad to cover the shortfall in the transfer market.
if Napoli can maintain their game consistency, that would be great. because the league still leaves quite a lot of matches. teams that were not good at first, are now starting to look good. Napoli must stay alert and play well if they want trophies.

I don't know if it will happen or not, but I just cannot wait to see Napoli starting to play badly when the club competition starts again. If that happens, this league is definitely going to be a lot more interesting than it is right now.

But I think Juventus might be able to perform well. They have started performing well after a rough start to this season. I never thought that entering the break they would be in third place on the table. But somehow they are. I bet Juventus fans are very happy that the authorities did not sack Allegri.

I do not have much hope for Milan. This team does not seem to have consistent performances throughout the season. And almost always they seem to fail to win significant matches.

We will see if Napoli will make some changes in their squad in January as well. I guess that they would focus on keeping the quality high and maintaining the harmony of the team well at the same time. They shouldn't part their ways with any of their good players yet. They need to achieve a title first to think about that.

Maybe we will be able to see another strong team that is in first place in the Serie A standings if Napoli fail to maximize their consistency at the start of the league match later. Because they will compete against Inter Milan, Juventus and AS Roma. If they manage to win the first 3 matches which I think are very important, they will actually have more chances to get the Scudetto earlier.
I might be a little skeptical of Juventus and Milan this time around. The reason for Milan at the moment is that they are still having financial problems and most likely they will only be with the same squad after half of the season and will only experience a few changes in players.
As for Juventus they have more serious problems now so this could affect their performance when they are on the rise.

Napoli will face a tough match when Serie A restarts. Their opponents in January will be Inter Milan and Juventus. These two big teams will be the real test for Spalletti squad because if Napoli succeeds in these two matches with a win, then Napoli will already be the strongest team to win the Scudetto title.

Napoli has a good trend in the second half of the season because for now Napoli has widened the gap with Ac Milan to 8 points. Spalletti certainly has good capital with that point distance by pressing his players not to be too happy just yet because there are many upcoming matches that they have to focus on consistently to get 3 points in order to win Serie A this season.

Atalanta and Roma have had a really bad form recently. They are both teams that started the season strongly but dropped in performance sharply in a short time. I'm not surprised with this look actually because I'm used to seeing this for these teams. Atalanta are a team that never make it until the end. They just get away from the top so easily even if they make a good start. This season is also the same as the point gap with Napoli has gone up to 14 points. This time they have started to play this much badly earlier than expected.

Roma are just the victim of bad strategies for some matches. I mean especially their performance in big matches. Mourinho adopts an unnecessarily bad game plan like playing very cautiously. They did this against Napoli for example and this just helped Napoli control the match fully.

Normally I don't like to see any team dominating the Serie A and winning a very comfortable title. Because it just makes that season very boring for the spectators. The season just ends early and you don't experience any exciting race for the title at least between two teams. However we are talking about a probable new champion in the league. I mean that of course Napoli had championships in the league before but it was so many years ago. After all these years they finally have their biggest opportunity.
Rather than seeing Juventus starting to dominate the league and make it boring again, I would just prefer Napoli to make it. They deserve it already now because they have proven themselves worthy for the title by beating every single one of their competitors no matter how strong they are.
excellent observation, winning without many direct opponents for the title makes the whole championship boring, I too hope for the final victory of Napoli in Serie A, they deserve it, Southern Italy deserves it, given that almost all championships are won by teams from Northern Italy, I am very concerned about the recent investigations concerning Juventus Atalanta and Genoa. I think there could be repercussions during the championship

Napoli is obviously at the top of the table without any direct competition right now. It is Milan who are currently ranked second in the table, and they have to worry first about the teams that are below them in the standings. Because starting from the second position, the competition gets really close.

What I mean to say is that there is not much difference in points between those teams. I do believe we can also look at this from a positive point of view. If we don't think about Napoli at this moment, we will see that the league is quite competitive. Other than that I think Napoli might also drop in terms of performance. They have a recent history of not performing well towards the end of the season. And if that happens, this league is surely going to get a lot more interesting.

Being able to keep the team going and keep winning things is never the aim of a club, we need to make sure to understand that. Yes there are "some" owners who like to spend money and win something, sure PSG probably doesn't make a profit and the owner has to pay from their own pockets to keep it going, these are all understandable.
But, most clubs are just a business and they aim at either making as little loss as possible year to year and grow the clubs value more, or they want to even make a profit.
If Napoli wins the title this year, that means we are going to see them sell bunch of players, and make maybe 100+ million from sales, and sure still spend 40-50 million next year, but that means they covered more than a years costs, and the clubs value went up, so the owner could still sell it and make more money.
Yes some clubs don't seem to care so much about winning trophies but for teams who have to compete for trophies they have to give their all in every game and try to get the maximum points by winning games. Unlike Dortmund and Ajax, Napoli have that that hunger for trophies that is why they are putting in efforts to improve and do better and stay in top level in their league.

I forget the last time Napoli won the title. To be honest, since I started watching football regularly, I have never seen Napoli become champions of Serie A. They desperately need a title. They are well ahead of Milan and Juventus this season. They are in a safe place. Now if they are able to maintain consistency in their performance then they can win the title.

At the moment, there are no weaknesses in the Napoli team. But if they change the squad in the winter transfer, their performance is likely to be unstable. The Napoli coach will have to handle things very carefully.

Lazio are also among the impressive teams in this season. They have been more successful than the previous one thanks to their high effort so far. Their only problem is with the toughest games of the league. They can't find a solution against such teams yet. They lost to Juventus by a score like 3-0 the last time for example.

I know that Juventus have been on a really good run in the Serie A for a long time. But Lazio also were among the teams doing well. They should have been able to fight harder. If Sarri manages to fix their issues in such games as well then they would stay as one of the biggest candidates for top 4.
I agree Lazio have been doing well this season, they are much better compared to their performances last season and I hope this performance won't be a flash show and fade off when the league resumes but they still need to improve and step up their game especially against top sides in the league, they have to frighten the top teams and try to win games against them. That way it will boost the team's confidence for the rest of the games.
Lazio was surely one of the best teams in current season even right now they have few problems and now are at fourth spot but after break we can expect good fight from them because things are good and favourable for them to stay in hunt for top four spots with right now we have worst results from Atlanta and Roma and just five teams are fighting hard for the top ranks and Lazio is surely capable of giving challenge to them with Juventus is having few issues which surely can hurt their campaign which could be also not good for them and their fans because after having poor start of this season now they were doing good job and have third spot with the help of last six wins in a row and amazing thing they have clean sheets as well, but now we will have good fight and things could be good for all teams to stay at same level.

Milan will have a really big difficulty in retaining their title this season. The gap between them and Napoli is still not that big actually. It's only 8 points. But consistency is key at this point. Napoli have shown the best example of it so far while Milan have been losing points in some simple games. Maybe Milan need to play much better than even the previous season as there is nothing else they can do to stop Napoli.

We will see if Napoli will make some changes in their squad in January as well. I guess that they would focus on keeping the quality high and maintaining the harmony of the team well at the same time. They shouldn't part their ways with any of their good players yet. They need to achieve a title first to think about that.
Milan is surely suffering from start of the season as their management not spend money for few quality players which were important for the defence of title, and now they are paying for this with gape is just eight points and this is achievable, but surely they need to improve performance and quality which is important for having good fight against leaders Napoli and other contenders which are surely not good signal for them if they want to stay at the same spot until end of this season.

With few rumours are working around about their management that hopefully they will spend some funds for bringing few players which are still needed for the improvement of team performance because now after break most chances we will have good changes in teams performance and quality with few teams are having target of bringing quality players a Milan also needs these changes.

Napoli is playing very well this season. They are far ahead of other parties. And their only aim this season is to win the title. Either way, they will want to win the title this season. And for that, to strengthen their squad, and fix their weaknesses, they are likely to add some talented players to their squad in the winter transfer. They will definitely want to strengthen their team.
Most chances now in January Napoli will not do any activity because their squad is already having enough quality and skills players those are doing amazing job and still can carry on with this momentum even now they are going to face tough time in coming weeks but most chances they are on good run and with already having good gape of points is also going to favor them for leading the league table.

Currently, Osimhen is most talked player in soccer community and mostly feeling he can leave Napoli for any other big club but most chances Napoli management will not allow him for this transfer before end of this season because right now they are also feeling they can handle this all situation with in next transfer window they can also take any big offer for his transfer which will be beneficial for them.

Let's see how it goes and hopefully they can all still be competitive in Serie A but yes, it's interesting for a different team to be the one to win the title this season. I personally don't really compare about the past where Napoli also won the Scudetto, I just feel that it is with Napoli's process that has happened a few seasons before. Then of course, it is very possible that this season is the right season for Napoli to actually be able to win the title because of the great effort he has put in so far.
With an 8 point difference with Milan in second place, I think it's a safe point gap.

Anyway, Napoli really have to keep making good results and don't lose matches too often, because with Napoli can be consistent in getting points even though the points obtained from a draw result but will still be good for Napoli.
That way, of course, Napoli will be able to maintain its position at the top of the standings, losing one or two matches is not a problem, because the competing teams in the title race will certainly not always get perfect results either.
I do agree that Napoli winning the title would be great, Juventus winning is never the trouble, I am not Italian so I don't care who wins, I just don't like to see any team winning more than 2-3 years back to back, in any sports, in any league of the world.

The best is when a team is great and wins 2-3 times in a row and just moves on. Look at the NBA, Warriors had one of the greatest runs, won one, and then had 73-9 season, and lost to Cavs, then had Durant added to that which meant they were amazing, only won 2 in a row and then lost to Toronto due to injuries. Shows you how difficult it is to win many in a row. Now imagine a team winning 10 years in a row at NBA, would be boring right? Juventus made it boring because of how many times they won, not because they won.

It would be a big mistake if Napoli made the decision to sell a player who has been at the heart of their fine form this season. They have to keep it up like you said at least until they actually claim that they are the scudetto winners this season. It is very risky if they release players and replace them with players they will bring in in the transfer market later.

Currently Lazio is in 4th position standing awhile until 15 matches with quite performance 9 won, 3 draw and 3 loss, compared with Lazio performance at last season actually have consistency in this season by finishing on Champion League zone awhile. The difference in points is not too far with Juventus who are in 3rd place and also Milan currently in 2nd place, I think Lazio's chances are still very big to be able to stay in the top 4th position this season.

All it depend with Lazio consistency after World Cup over and three matches later seems not any problem yet against with bottom position standing team before on matchday 19th face AC Milan.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Napoli's failure in recent years, which has always made mistakes at the end of the season, will be a very valuable lesson they have learned from their experience so far. In the end we will see if they are able to take those lessons to take them even better at the end of the season, or they will fall into the same hole.

I hope not, because they have started very well, even better than the last few seasons. They have not lost until week 15, it would be a shame if they made a mistake that would ruin the glorious results they had achieved. Luciano Spalletti must be able to anticipate things that will harm them.
Now we just need to see if their conditions are still the same as before with new players now because currently their conditions are slightly different considering that their players are also new because they have undergone reshuffles on various fronts.
But their condition is now very good and I'm quite optimistic that if there are no problems with injuries and no players leave, then I'm still quite optimistic about Napoli, especially considering the condition of other clubs who are really struggling like Milan and Juventus who are currently having problems.
In fact, at first I was a little skeptical about their condition when some of their players, such as Koulibally and Dries Mertens, were left behind, but this was indeed a bit surprising because with their new players, who in fact were still young compared to before, they actually played better.
On the other hand at this point I agree with you in saying that if there are no injuries and no spending players then this will most likely be very profitable for Napoli even though at the moment Osimhen and Zielinski are in the interest of many big clubs.
