Juventus won in the end for 2-0 in the derby against Turin, not a easy game but they managed to get the 3 points.
Disappoitment for Milan's fans, after beating real Madrid they got a tie against Cagliari near the extra time.
The top of serie A is very close with a lot of teams in few points, was a long time I dind't see a similar situation.
And now we have another break hoping no players will be injuried this time with national teams.
A good win that Juventus could get that they should have been able to get, because on paper they are more favored than their opponents in this match, they also play as hosts which benefits them. 2 goals that they can create in the match bring them to 3rd position in the standings, at least before their competitors play this week. Apart from all that, of course this is a good result for them, because they can still maintain the points gap, and they will also certainly hope that the competitors below or above them cannot get maximum results this week to reduce the points.
Ac Milan again achieved unsatisfactory results in this match, they had to be satisfied with 1 point they got when facing Cagliari. On paper they should have been able to win the match, but the advantage on paper alone is not enough because the game on the field can be different, and that happened in this match. Cagliari who appeared as the host successfully showed a good game, they were even able to create a quick goal in the 2nd minute. The game was very fierce where both teams exchanged goals, but in the end no one could create more goals so that 3-3 became the end of this match. This result made Ac Milan unable to move from its position in 7th place.
AC Milan started that game on a very bad note and even went behind before Portuguese winger Rafael Leao scored two goals to help them take the lead. After they went 2:1 up, I thought they were going to score more goals that'll ensure they win the game but the home team had another plan and did press a point till the dying minutes that they got the equalizer.
7th in the league after 11 league games isn't a position that is expected of a supposed strong contender for the league title so I think it's safe to say that AC Milan is technically out of the race for the league title this season.
I can't say that their defense is bad, because if we compare it to other teams, they are still quite normal with 14 goals conceded from 11 matches they played. Not a very good defense, but it's not too bad either. Looking at their goal productivity, they are actually still quite good too. The problem I see is when they play with the same performance when facing a strong team or facing a weak team. Logically when they play well when facing a strong team, then they should be able to play even better when facing a weaker team, well they don't show that.
