Regardless if it's the referee's fault and the VAR then I don't think Juventus are at their best. I don't think they are a strong team this season even though the big name is a bit scary for opponents, but the form this team has is much different.
They are far from a strong team. When facing Juventus, weaker teams used to defend the entire match and hope they will get away with a draw. Now, no matter who they play against, their opponents are attacking them and controlling the ball while Juve is defending.
By the management reacting do you mean they should fire Allegri already?
If Juventus losses against Benfica tonight, they will have a hard time qualifying and Allegri has to go. I doubt they will fire him because the severance pay would be high. He earns over €7 million a season. And they will have to pay him that money plus find a better coach who will be equally expensive or cost more if they want success.
Does anyone remember that when the season started, everyone was saying that Juventus is not going to perform well because they have some injury problems in the team?
But contrary to popular belief Juventus started performing quite well. And everyone was actually surprised that this type of performance was being produced by Juventus.
They did and they still have injury problems, but that's part of the game. A good team needs squad depth to be able to replace any player at any time. The first match against Sassuolo doesn't show the real performance of the team. When people see a 3:0 final result, they assume Juve played a good game. They didn't. Sassuolo had more of the ball and were better. But Juve took advantage of the few scoring opportunities they were given, hence the 3 goals. But right now, they are barely creating anything of value.
