Rather than Roma actually Napoli seem to have a bigger chance for the title. I'm saying this considering their last season efforts of course. However now Roma are improving their squad more than before. Maybe they can make a difference and be more competitive than Napoli for top 4. Napoli still have some positions to improve in my opinion. After Milan and Inter it would be nice to see one of Roma and Napoli being the champions to surprise us. But I think they have a long way to go now.

Neither Roma nor Napoli have a serious chance of winning the championship, although I would be happy to see any of these teams win instead of the other three. They can show a good stretch of the season (as Napoli did) or win a separate cup (like Roma), but by the end of the season in the championship with less resources (depth of the squad and the possibility of player rotation) than the competitors, they will fall behind and lose the race.

3 Serie A teams hasn't get satisfied results for friendly matches yesterday that Milan lose from Hungarian team Zalaegerszegi TE even in the first half Milan already conceded 3 goals before Giroud and Krunic attempts to equalized but final score 3-2 and Milan failed to win on the other hand Inter also lose from France team Lens with score 1-1 and only Roma had slightly better because they can able to get draw result from Nice 1-1
Yes they seem to be still looking for a formula with their new squad. Regarding the result of the match, maybe some spectators were disappointed because of the defeat even though it was only a pre-season match which was not projected to win, but rather the team's overall performance. There is still a lot of time for them to improve again, especially since all of these teams are teams that will compete at the top.

Milan start the match with a slightly different formation in defence, Stefano Pioli used Matteo Gabbia and Toure to defend the defence, and what happened was they were attacked repeatedly at the beginning of the match. A different result might have happened when the coach choose Hernandez or Tomori early, because I saw them under pressure at the start of the match. While midfielder Sandro Tonali worked quite hard before finally being withdrawn, and Brescianini is still not showing his best form.

There are rumors that Lazio is interested in Marcelo. His contract with Real Madrid expired last season. There are rumors that the 34-year old star player wants an annual salary of 2.5 million euros and a 3 year contract. He didn't play for most of his last season at Real Madrid due to injury. Nobody says no to a healthy Marcelo. But Marcelo is a risky transfer right now. It would be a good but risky transfer for Lazio.
Well i think a 34 years old marcelo could be really promising for serie a teams , he would fit really well .. as serie a well known as a place for the old players to keep shining for at least 2 years or more , he had no club currently .. and if lazio mean it to land him ... then the asking salary of 2.5 million euros must be filled soon before there is a better offer coming to his table.

Fenerbahce looking after him as well as Olympique Marseille offers him a champions league competition. They need to be placed as a first choice so he can get his last chance into the world cup squad.
At the age of 34, still too many clubs are interested to sign this most decorated full back from Real Madrid who spend their nearly 16 years and now already end his career with most chances he is going to Italy even Marseille from France, Juventus from Italy and Fenerbahçe from Turkey all are interested to sign him for rest of his career but where he is going to landing it's a big question right now as Lazio is most favorite in market for having him but nothing is sure.

Certainly with the age factor is also having his impact in last season mostly he was absent with few issues it's risky signing but still few clubs are going to take this, hopefully he will be stayed here in Italy and enjoy next few seasons with Lazio.

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
I also don't give much chance for Roma about making it to the league title this season. However my expectation level from them to be more successful has increased quite much. They have been making good transfer moves and they seem better with Mourinho now. Their next target would be finishing the season in top four this time absolutely. They need to do their best to join the Champions League. I don't know how much successful they would be in the Europa League next season. After winning the Conference League they are among the favourites to me.
because there are still some big clubs that can be featured apart from them.
Indeed, at this time they are adding some players to be able to compete but that is not for the title position and maybe only for the top 4 position there.
This season there are still the same clubs as Inter, Juventus, and maybe Milan (even this I'm actually quite doubtful for Milan).

I believe Roma is stronger than Napoli. They transferred Dybala and are now stronger on the offensive side. They will always want to continue their chances for the championship. Of course, Napoli is one of the champion candidates in Serie A. I believe it will be an exciting and competitive league like last year.

I also think Roma are in a better position than Napoli at the moment. Coach Mourinho has been able to find the problems in his team. And added new striker Dybala to the squad. Dybala is a talented player, if Mourinho is able to use Dybala properly next season Roma's attack will be stronger. However, Napoli's performance was pretty steady at the start of last season. Serie A will become even more competitive as they continue to show such outstanding performances this season.

Marcelo has rarely been seen on the field in recent seasons. Although he is a very talented player, being almost 35 years old, maintaining fitness is a bit difficult for Marcelo. If his fitness is good then he can play well in the Lazio team. If he is Lazio's defense, their defense will be stronger. Also Marcelo is very experienced. He knows how to perform against strong teams. However, this is going to be a very risky transfer for Lazio, as Marcelo has injury problems.

Marcelo's condition is starting to not fit, maybe it's because he's 34 years old. marcelo has played for madrid for 15 years and his contribution to madrid has been enormous

There's been some recent news that it's not just Lazio that has an interest in Marcelo.  Let's just wait for the latest news because it's rumored that Marcelo's agent is actively communicating with Lazio

So far, when the transfer market started to open, it was seen that the seriousness of several teams and they had succeeded in bringing in several players. There are players who used to be part of the team, there are also those who got players from their rival teams in Serie A, such as Dybala who is now at AS Roma. Many believe that he will have success while at AS Roma, one of which is because he will be with a reliable coach, Jose Mourinho.

Honestly, I don't think Jose Mourinho is a very reliable coach at this moment. I have never liked him as a coach, to be honest. But I believe he is above average even now. So if Dybala is actually able to stay fit the whole season he should be able to do better than what he did in the last season with his previous team. But he is going to face some challenges in away matches for sure. And if we are talking about Reunion, we have to talk about Pogba. I am willing to keep a close eye on him, as well as most others, to see how well he does in his new team.

I admit that Napoli's performance last season was better than Roma's, so it's no wonder Napoli's position is better than Roma's. But this year Napoli
have lost Lorenzo Insigne and Kalidou Koulibaly to other clubs, even threatened to lose Dries Mertens who until now still refuses a contract
extension from Napoli. So I doubt next season in Serie A, Napoli can be in the top 4, even next season Napoli can lose to compete with Roma.
Which this year Roma managed to bring in some new players, which will definitely make Roma's appearance increase. I predict Roma can enter
the top 4, while to win the Serie A trophy, it seems that the strongest candidate is still between Inter and AC Milan.

Maybe Juventus can surprise next season by winning the Serie A trophy, especially since Juventus just got Di Maria and Pogba, this should make
the Juventus squad stronger. If Napoli still want to compete for the top spot in Serie A, they should move quickly to bring in new players to
strengthen their squad, because I'm not sure the current squad can make Napoli into the top 4.

yes ok very nice, all fantastic (I agree with you I'm not sarcastic)
but Juventus also needs reinforcements behind them
it cannot limit itself only to this, because it is not enough
if he doesn't, he risks a lot, in my opinion
Obviously, in this case they still need a back line especially they have now lost Chiellini and maybe in this market they will also lose De Ligt in the most vital part of defence. This should be a concern for Juventus regardless of how good they are in midfield and attack this will be a lot of gaps if the defense is down.
Recently I read about a story that said they were targeting Arsenal's young defender Gabriel Magalhaes as a patch.

The defense is a concern for Juventus. De Ligt has already been lost. The way Bayern Munich was chasing this player. It was really difficult for Juventus to hold on to him. So there goes the most important defender of Juventus. And we all know that Bonucci is very old right now, and Juventus cannot depend on him.

So all of this leaves very obvious holes in the defense of Juventus. In the last season, Juventus had problems scoring goals and I think this season they might have problems defending goals. Unless of course they make some changes and bring in some decent defensive players.

Maybe another two or three years he can certainly still play in Serie A. Physically indeed he has begun to diminish but his experience will help Lazio, if this transfer is true. Lazio certainly need him to improve his strengths and certainly play in Europe. He just keeps trying to keep his physical strength so he can continue to have a regular place at Lazio. He has played alongside Madrid for almost 15 years. Of course he has had many titles with madrid.
My point was that most likely his quality of play no longer fit Real Madrid and he was transferred to Lazio. For him personally it could be seen as a relegation - leaving the best club in Europe or even the world. It happens to all star players. In Serie A, another good example of such a player is Frank Ribery. Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed his status so far.
Marcelo could have been good for Real Madrid for like 10-15 games a season for at least 3 more seasons as well, the point is that he would have been a good leader for the club and that's what matters, if you send someone away just because it looks like he doesn't have anything of worth, then you are leaving the veteran leadership aside as well.

I think he was a very talented player and he could be great for a long more time, but we just stopped caring about it when players stopped playing at a high level anymore, even at that age. We want everyone to play perfectly, no matter who they are, even if it's Messi or Ronaldo, if they play badly for a while, it's suddenly a bad thing, we gotta see the tangibles again.

Well, it seems that Mertens in the end will leave Napoli, he hasn't choiced to get a new contract with management. I don't know what Napoli is doin this year, but as supporter I see that it has sold their best players this year

and we're going to play a league without any trusted player (Osimhen apart). Hope that managament will sell his company share to another one  Roll Eyes
Napoli comparing to the other clubs didn't make big signing and lost Koulibaly and Insigne which will make them quite vulnerable this season comparing to the last one which mind you they weren't stable on it at all..

Currently, the club that Cristiano Ronaldo will choose is Real Madrid. Because according to his qualifications, he can gain a lot of popularity in Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo performance is very good and he has won many matches due to which he is in demand in almost all clubs. But according to the merits of Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid The club chooses the best.
You mean ATM and not Real Madrid since it is unlikely to sign him back in Santiago Bernabio. ATM in the other hand might be interested on him once they find where to place Griezmann. BTW yesterday I read that ATM is not interested by him.. Things change every couple of hours these days.

Despite the win and despite having Pogba and Di Maria, I think that Juventus still has a lot of work to do. From the game, they still need 2 full backs, a central, at least a midfielder, a winger and a center forward to be competitive. However, it seems to me that for now that window is close and that they will have to wait for another year. By the way,  between Juventus and Inter, which has the stronger squad and is more likely to win the championship?

Don't worry, Juventus still has time to sign players I'm sure they're still monitoring some players especially during pre-season matches like this
When compared between Juventus and Inter I prefer Juventus this season and I see Juventus competitors are not Inter but Milan
As you said Juventus will be complete if they get a reliable defender we will find out at the end of the transfer window.

I agree that he could still play for another 3 years, but I expected Roma to get him, not Lazio, Mourinho played with him before and he knows how great he could be and that would allow them to get him, because there is a connection there, so the chatter would be easier to establish.
In any case, Marcelo deserves to play for a good club for a few more years, dude is good enough to actually matter and it would be weird to let him retire at 34, or go to a terrible club, he still has a lot more to offer. At the end of the day it is going to be some player who just plays the game, he is going to be also a good leader for the team and that matters a lot if you ask me.
Marcelo in addition to successfully winning many trophies with Real Madrid, Marcelo is also a player who has high loyalty. Imagine Marcelo has been
with Real Madrid for 18 years, so any team that can get Marcelo is lucky. It looks like Lazio are ahead for Marcelo, because so far only Lazio have
started negotiations with Marcelo. But the problem is that Marcelo wants a long-term contract for 3 years and asks for a salary of 2.5 million euros
per season. Making Lazio have to consider carefully, because Marcelo's age is no longer young and is also worried about Marcelo's physical condition,
Marcelo spent most of his time on the bench and started only 5 games for Real Madrid last season. I agree with you, Marcelo is more suitable to
join Roma, because Mourinho already knew Marcelo when he was coach of Real Madrid. But unfortunately so far there have been no rumors linking
Roma with Marcelo. So it's most likely that Lazio have a big chance to get Marcelo.

Marcelo still has a good amount of time left in his career in my opinion. He is obviously someone who might not be able to play the whole 90 minutes for a team like Real Madrid anymore but he can be more than handy for a team like Roma. And I think if he can manage his stamina correctly he will be able to play the whole 90 minutes in the Italian league. And another reason why Roma is going to be a good decision for him is that he has already worked with Jose Mourinho.

Juventus won its 1st game 2-0.

From what we can see even if the opponent was not so strong:

DiMaria is at another level, he will be devastating in Seria A.
Pogba is in a good shape.

Vlahovic and Bonucci did not play yet, they will probably do the next game vs Barcellona.

Despite the win and despite having Pogba and Di Maria, I think that Juventus still has a lot of work to do.
