I agree it is still possible to have 3-4 more seasons as a player but of course if he wants to play in a weaker competition. I'm not saying Serie A is weak, it's one of the most competitive leagues in Europe right now. But when compared to the Spanish League, Laliga is still the best.

There are many Brazilian players over the age of 34 who can still play in various teams. Thiago Silva, Alves, João Miranda, Marcelo are some of the defenders who are still active today. They are physically strong but for sure they have experienced a decline in performance due to age. But I believe their experience can be used by the team, especially in terms of stability and calm in defence.

Because from the existing records Belotti only played at Torino and it was as I knew before too, if it was like that then purely so far Belotti only played in Serie A. But at the age of 28 I think Belotti still deserves to get a new team with easy be it in Serie A or outside of Italy. But if a club like Torino doesn't renew his contract, then I start to doubt his quality to be able to play in the top leagues in Europe.

Maybe another two or three years he can certainly still play in Serie A. Physically indeed he has begun to diminish but his experience will help Lazio, if this transfer is true.
