It seems defeat in Champions League hurts Atalanta a lot. They can not recover well after that and lost against Roma in their home stadium.

Atalanta are a good team so they will come back later but in next few matches, we might see they struggle to get points and it will be good opportunities for Juventus and Roma to climb up and surpass Atalanta on the table. The upcoming holidays will be important for Atalanta. They need such breaks to get their good mood and good form back.

I agree with your thoughts on the decline in Atalanta. Atalanta should not have lost, especially in this easy match. This loss may even cause them to lag behind Juventus. Juventus have had a good series and are moving towards the top. Atalanta should not suffer simple points losses in a season that they started very well.

Atlanta this time really experienced a decline in performance where they failed to beat the host Genoa and were forced to only draw with the score 0-0 and their position continues to be pursued by Juventus who are currently only 4 points adrift of Atalanta where they successfully beat Cagliari by the score was 2-0, even though as we know that Atlanta had full control of the match where they managed to make three shots on target but unfortunately they failed to score a goal against Genoa and forced them to go home with one point

It was a big disappointment for Atalanta. Even though they deserved to win the match by a great performance, they missed the chance to defeat Genoa. This is their second bad result in a row. There is a worrying problem on their finishing for two weeks. They should find a way out of this problematic situation. They were much better normally as they had a great winning streak. But they can leave these days behind soon I think.

Atalanta draw wasnt expected at all especially against geneoa that team is really playing badly they lost their last four games and they didnt do nothing on yesterday game it was tottaly dominated by atalanta 67% possesion with 17 goal attepts and only one off shot goal for geneoa today on the other hand it was expected to juventus to win we just need to look at the recent games of cagliari team as for today games i hope milan and napoli team win so we can see a fierce title competition.

Juventus were to able to do what I expected from them against Cagliari last night. Their high level of domination resulted in a 2-0 victory for them. The second goal came in the last minutes though but it is still a good result for them as they are maintaining their unbeaten streak now. But Atalanta really surprised me yesterday. They got a very disappointing result against Genoa like 1-0 despite their great level of dominance. They can't win for two weeks now. And this helped Juventus decrease the point gap to 4 also.

Week 19 will bring together Juventus versus Napoli, who will manage to get 3 points?? Atalanta does it indeed seem to be a bit in trouble right now. They gave away 5 points in the last two games, especially against Genua (who lost 4 of the last 5 games and now draw against Atalanta). Juventus is catching up now and there is no doubt that their only goal is to make it into the champions league qualifiers. It's going to be a showdown when the top 5 teams meet in the league.

Usually one team will get unlucky for two or three match later, I see happening with Atlanta after defeating by AS Roma last two weeks now failed again wake up after playing draw with Genoa. Atlanta miss bigger chance to pass second position if success get three points because left only two points with Napoli as second position right now although have left one match more than Atlanta, but most disappointed Genoa is regelation team where 17th position standing but Atlanta failed get three points.

They have wasted the opportunity to take full points, quite disappointing because they are only against a team that is struggling in the relegation zone, two disappointing results are very unfortunate and unexpected.
Sassuolo vs Bologna this match looks like will be tight, both are a team with a balanced quality but I think Sassoulo has a bigger chance to win.
