It will be interesting to see if Milan can recover quickly after being eliminated from the Champions League. To be fair, I see better player resource in AC Milan than in Napoli and I believe AC Milan will fight against Inter Milan for Scudetto, not Napoli. Juventus and Atalanta need to do some amazing matches to catch those clubs in Scudetto competition.

I think that Juventus is really far behind in the points table and for them to cope up with the points difference, they need to have some big ones and that also has to be back to back. I think that Atalanta is more of a threat to the top three than Juventus right now. But Inter will surely give AC Milan a good fight.

Milan are continuing their growth in Serie A since 3 seasons ago after Ibra participation. In Champions League, they need more seasons to be competitive again. Frankly they did not play too terrible in Champions League but results are bad. I am not worry about AC Milan in Champions League in future. They will be a strong team there in near future. At least they will not be out too early.
In Seria A, Atalanta is the most energetic team and they can make big surprise in Scudetto competition, not Napoli.

Napoli is currently going down through the table right now. I was really hopeful of them doing something unbelievable this season. But at this time of the season, there seems to be sliding down. And to be honest, at this moment Atalanta seems a far better team than Napoli.

I don't think that the places of top five teams in the standings will change on this match week. Because the matches are Udinese - Milan, Inter - Cagliari, Napoli - Empoli, Verona - Atalanta and Venezia - Juventus. I expect Milan, Inter, Napoli and Juventus to win by a decent score. Maybe Atalanta could draw with Verona but still they would be ahead of Juventus.

Genoa is a weak team, and everyone expected them to lose in their match against Juventus. Juventus would have even scored more goals, but Genoa got a good goalkeeper. It not surprising on how Juventus dominated the game with 71% ball possession, while poor Genoa ended the match with 0 shot on target. However, I have always acknowledge Juventus to be a great team in the Serie A. And they will surely secure a place in the top 4.
Nevertheless, they have a match today in the Champion League against Malmo. Malmo haven't won any match in the CL, and I don't think they will be able to withstand Juventus.

Liverpool is not a weak team so to beat is certainly difficult for Milan and indeed, Milan is currently in a good position in Serie A but that does not guarantee for him to win against EPL teams in UCL. Juventus slowly move to a top range after almost half of a season. I think they will continue their performance and will be able to join the Scudetto race or at least challenge a third to fourth position. Compares to other clubs from fifth position and under, Juventus have best quality and what they only a conversion of player quality to good results.

I don't think Lazio, Roma or even Atalanta can compares to Juventus about player quality. It is a bit surprise if I say Juventus can win Scudetto but it is not impossible if they keep it up.

A fierce race that will be more important when you know that Milan is no longer focusing in Champions League since it was kicked from it without passing to Europa League while Atalanta will play in EL so they will try to reach an advanced stage there which is possible imo. There is also Inter that will continue playing in CL. So Milan is the one that should try to fight for a title and this one couldn't be other than the Scudetto!

Udinese are obviously losing the match. This is because Milan is coming back to the league with full force. I think they are crashed out of Champions league and did not get slot for the Europa League.
The local league is their only hope for now and Udinese who is not a major contender should not be a stumbling block to them.
They will put themselves together and energy since there will not be midweek football for them again.

This is why I believe that the more games played, there is a better chance of Juventus doing better as well. Also, I believe it is top 5 and not top 4 that is playing closer to each other, at least right now with the momentum it looks like that but if Juventus starts to lose again, then things may not look as bright as it looks right now, hence why I believe it could be a problem and they need to play decently.
