Mourinho is a coach who needs to be in a team that is willing to win a competition. When the mentality of all elements of the club - players and managers - is focused on winning, giving you complete freedom to lead and control the dressing room.

That's not to say that the other clubs he's been to before didn't want to win. But they weren't all focused on that, they wanted to win but in their own way.

Roma, shows that they gave everything to Mourinho (even without big signings) for him to feel free to work with everyone, with the objective of winning. The leaders prepared well for Mourinho's entry into the team.

It is very interesting to see Roma this season not bringing in really big star players. They only brought in Eldor Shomurudov and Tammy Abraham
who in my opinion are just mediocre players. But Roma's game is so lively that it can score a lot of goals in two games. Mourinho's role is so
important, Mourinho is known to be smart in motivating his players, so Roma players look motivated to win the game.

I was quite surprised that Mourinho was able to make Roma win twice by scoring so many goals, it was extraordinary and beyond the predictions of
many people.
I am not surprised because Roma has a good squad and is managed by a top manager, Mourinho. All people know how good the reputation of Mourinho was, when he managed Inter Milan to get 3 trophies in one season. It was proven that Mourinho is a great coach and very suitable for the Italian football atmosphere. I am pretty sure that Mourinho can be successful with Roma this season. I expect that Roma can finish in the top 3 at the end of this season.  Wink

I agree the Roma squad is good, although not many big stars. Moreover, with the experience of Mourinho who has successfully given many titles
to Inter, it is very possible that the top 3 targets are achieved this season. It will be interesting to wait for the next Roma game, whether Mourinho
can again make Roma beat Sassuolo. If it turns out to be successful in defeating Sassuolo, the morale of Roma players will increase and this will
allow Roma to achieve their next victory.

That interesting match on Sunday (12/9), AC Milan vs Lazio. No Doubt, I will bet for Milan, They will beat Lazio on 1st Stand. even though have a problem with forward (Giroud Positive Covid), I'm pretty sure Ibrahimovic will replace him and is already fit after injury. This match is also interesting to watch, Romagnoli (cap) wants to go to Lazio in January and I think Milan will take it off because his contract is until next summer if they don't want to lose off profit.

I wouldn't dare to bet on Milan to win the match. Both teams won the first 2 matches but the beaten teams by both Milan and Lazio are not great team. But if you are so sure that Milan will win then you get a very nice odd 2.1 but I think you should not spend to much as the league is still in the early stage where unpredictable may come anytime. Other match to watch is Napoli vs. Juventus, I have to say it is a must win for Juventus if they do not want to get bigger gap with other top teams.

I checked the statistics of the last 5 matches of Napoli and Juventus. Juventus have won three of their last five matches and Napoli has won two. But the funny thing is that the home team has won in these 5 matches. Napoli will play at home in the next match. I think they will be the winner. Only they are the home team so I don’t think they will win. I don't like the performance of Juventus in the last two matches. They need to improve more.

A really tough game is waiting for Juventus I think. They are already struggling a lot recently and Napoli started to the season with two victories. If it was a home game for Juventus here, I would say that they would have a bigger chance to win. However, Napoli have a really big advantage of playing home here. And I see that Napoli are slightly the favourite side according to the odds of the game. I don't expect Napoli to lose this one.

I was quite surprised that Mourinho was able to make Roma win twice by scoring so many goals, it was extraordinary and beyond the predictions of
many people. I am one of those who believe Mourinho can make Roma compete for the Serie A trophy, because Mourinho's track record in Serie A is
quite good. I remember when Mourinho was the coach of Inter, he could give Inter a lot of titles. This means that maybe Mourinho's strategy is
more effective in Serie A, to prove it I want to see at least 3 Roma matches in the future. Next Roma will face Sassuolo, Roma should be able to win
the game with much better quality players. What's interesting is whether Roma will score 2 more goals against Sassuolo or not.

The premier league and Serie A in my opinion are very different and indeed Mourinho in the premier league his strategy is easy to guess so he can't maximize the offensive strategy, therefore returning to Serie A using the old formation of course will be good again because in Serie A maybe for Mourinho it's easier in some phases of his strategy, I think he is suitable for Serie A than other leagues, and the match started when he won Inter Milan with his 3 prestigious titles.
Mourinho is more appropriate for traditional tactics in Italy. He belongs to Serie A if we are only considering about tactics.

The favorite tactic of Mourinho matches with the Catenaccio famous tactic in Serie A. It makes the name of Italy football.

I agree with this so much. Mourinho seems like one of the best managers for Roma now. Since he came here, Roma have been performing much better than the last season. They destroyed both of their opponents on the first two weeks of the season. Roma are going to play against a more serious opponent next time which is Sassuolo. Roma couldn't beat them for 3 matches considering their head-to-heads. But I think that it is time to break a leg here. Roma will win this match and make a 3-win streak.
It is interesting to hear that Jose Morinho is doing well at Roma, and before he started,I said it here that Morinho have seen so many things, and have gained a lot of experience from his past mistakes,so will not want to repeat thesame mistake he made at other clubs where he has coached.

He used to be a good manager,he is a good manager, and he will do well at Roma. The improvement there can be seen by everybody.

Actually I have not seen the match of As Roma with Mourinho. But if you say is true and it's still the same then it won't be good. Because if I look from Inter, to Manchester United and finally at Tottenham, all the strategies are predictable. It's true that it's a trait of training him, but if he doesn't want to change and learn then that's very bad. Or maybe the strategy will be different if he play in Serie A? Let's see it's just the start of the season.
You can watch it with match highlights, on Youtube or on AS Roma website. It's good enough to give you overview on what AS Roma looks like under management of a new coach, Mr. Special One.

What Roma started in Serie A, 2 matches, 6 points and 7 goals are unpredictable, aren't they?

I don't know how long will Mourinho be able to keep it up for Roma but so far, it is very impressive!

You are right. As soon as the key players of the team get injured, the young players on the bench get a chance to perform. And they can prove their own abilities and qualifications. This is especially true for young strikers. However, young players should be given a chance against a weaker team. As soon as young players get a chance to play, they will be able to make themselves more experienced.

I agree. Unfortunately, many coaches do not give these young people the opportunity. And because of that, some teams end up losing the opportunity to take advantage of their qualities, by selling them to other teams, who wisely give the opportunity to these young people.

A footballer's career is usually 15-23 years, you have to keep that in mind to know how to adapt teams to take advantage of experienced and young people at the same time.

When I look at Mou formation, it's the same with inter Milan in the past (4-5-1) he uses 4 on defender and 5 players on the midfield. That is effective enough in Serie A which many clubs playing defensive style, but when playing outside in Italy, it could be hard because it might be easy to break when the opponent plays tiki-taka strategy (like Barcelona ) and offensive strategy.

When a core player is injured it will be a problem, especially if the coach doesn't have good second player that has the same ability as the injured player, However, it is confirmed that the injuries suffered by Vina is not too serious, maybe He will only miss the match against Sassuolo.
source

Lucky enough if Vina only misses one game, however, against sassuolo will be a difficult match, because Mou has no LB players option, inevitably mourinho has to field Calafiori, a young player who is still very inexperienced for Serie-A. Calafiori only have a 8 minutes playing time after he move to Senior squad. But, he have better playing time when he was in Roma Primavera with 17 matches.

Sometimes it's with those injuries that take longer, with the main players, where you find young players who are usually always on the bench and become very good.
Of course an injury is never good, but sometimes it creates opportunities to find fantastic players.

AS Roma in the match against Sassuolo, will likely lose Gianluca Mancini and Matias Vina, both of these players suffered injuries while playing for their respective national teams. For Mancini, there is no information when he can return to play. Because Vina get injured, Now Mourinho looks like he found a problem, because his other left back, Spinazzola, is also injured,

Everyone knew that Ronaldo's departure was bound to take a toll on the team. I mean, aside from team leaders like Bonnucci or Chiellini, Ronaldo was one person that majority of this juventus respected so much and looked up for his experience and leadership when he's on and off the page. When such person becomes unavailable, there's a void. This happened with Real Madrid in the first couple of months until the team started to adjust to their new found reality.
Looks like they're already hanging on to Ronaldo. Allegri is very difficult to eliminate it. It might take a few games or even longer. But a few moments ago I read that Juve don't really need Ronaldo. He became a heavy burden to Juventus' finances. But if you look at the results of the match they seem to be lying, let's see there is a tough opponent and a solid schedule awaits.
