Atalanta has shown us how to organize a great team with less money, and how to perform exceptionally well. Their performance in the previous season surprised me. I would say they have done better than Juventus. Despite having so many star players, Juventus did not perform as expected.

Atalanta is another version of Sevilla in Serie A. They manage to play too well with their limited financial budget and grow up from middle clubs to join the top clubs. What I impressed with Atalanta is their stability for three seasons.

In history, there are some clubs can create big surprise but they only be able to do so in only one season. If luckily, they manage it in 2 seasons and collapse. Atalanta are different, they are doing it for 3 seasons and the next season will be very interesting. If they keep up what they have done in recent three years, they deserve to become a new big club in Serie A.

Their academy and scout teams will be important for the future growth of Atalanta.

I believe "mid table" is not really fair, sure they would be worse than current year but a team that won the league will not become a mid table team over course of one off-season, who are they gonna sell all their players? I mean even if they do, inter is rarely a midtable team, there are players dying to get to teams like inter, it is a big name club and they could get some decent players even if they sold every single player. However we all know, if they sell just one big name player they would be back to square one and that will not make them a mid table team.

I am pretty sure they will be at least top 5 team no matter what happens this offseason, they are at least that good even without players like martinez or lukaku, they will manage that much. Mid table is like you need to have a horrible season where everyone leaves but also nobody wants to come and Inter is not in that situation.

I don't think that such thing will happen for Inter. It doesn't look like Lukaku is going anywhere. Martinez didn't want to go to Barcelona either.
