Now we have another casualty in the form of Juventus who have suffered loss at the hands of the so called small teams...what's really going on with football these days? Big teams have turned losing into a hobby and it's sending the wrong signals if you ask me! Could there be an element of match fixing at play or it's simply that the other team was the better side of the day....or is this something to do with Ronaldo leaving and Juventus not having the time to find a replacement??

I wanted to believe in Juventus to get a win in this game against Verona today but they made me unhappy again. Verona ended them in the first half by making the score 2-0. In the second half, Juventus tried something to get a good result but it was no help. They were able to only drop the score gap down by one, that was all. Even if Milan stumble against Roma away, I strongly believe that Napoli will beat Salernitana and open the point gap with Juventus three more points.
Another bad first half from juventus that coast them the game and it will confirm the psychological problem they have because they have a rich squad plus they played with each other for a long time so i dont know why alegri is not able to provide good results as for the serie a i think only milan and napoli will compete for the title they did not lost yet, juventus lost their chance with these two defeats in a row.
and Juve finally reap the benefits that are less wearable. Mckennie's late goal didn't change the situation they had to lose at home to Verona.
and this closed their chance to continue to rise at this time and had to be stuck in 8th position with 15 points and was overtaken by Verona who was indeed superior in aggregate goals.
their performance in this match is quite bad and even they seem to lose their way in playing.

Milan's schedule in the near future can be said to have a tough opponent, it is likely that Milan will slip from its position and Napoli will become stronger at the top. At least that's still my view right now, just imagine Milan will play against Roma and then Milan will play against Porto in the UCL, then Inter and Fiorentina and return to the UCL to play against Atletico. Wow, even though there is a time lag between the matches that can be used as rest and recovery time but still, the rotation that is carried out will still make players more tired and continue to get high pressure than usual because the opponents they face are very tough in a narrow period of time.
When you are going 9 out of 10, I do not think that there is anything called "tough schedule" for most teams. Don't get me wrong I am not saying they won't lose points, any team could lose points to even bottom teams and it has happened before even this season let alone other seasons in many leagues.

However, they are at the top of the table right now (second but same points) so they are not really having too much challenge from other teams apparently. Roma and Inter will definitely be hard opponents that's for sure, but they do not really look at any one team and say that will be tough, they are trying to win against anyone they face so far.

And Juventus is losing again 2-0 in the 1st half.
It will be a hard year, which happens when the holding does not want to invest in the team.

I don't think is possible to end in the first 4 positions this year, the past year was a miracle.
Juve is trying its best to get out of the track and make things harder for them unfortunately.. Position 1 and 2 are hard to achieve. The difference between Juve and Roma is 4 points without considering Roma tomorrow's game vs Milan, which I find achievable in the middle term.

Juventus is still not stable and I doubt they can climb in the top 4 in the future because I don't know if after the transfer window opens there will be a recovery or not but looking at the current game Juventus are still less aggressive than the previous year which continued to dominate the league in succession, is this time over?
Dybala and Morata are still not effective enough after waking up from injuries, they are still in stages, whether they lack an attacking line or Allegri is now unable to convince Juventus to be in the top 4.

The owner of Juventus is Exor, Exor is doing great after Covid, they are already in all time high but they do not want invest in Juventus.

Strange situation. Is not a money problem for owner he is super-rich.

As you can see here they destroyed the Covid era.

Will Juventus keep bad performance on this season? during 11 match on Serie A they have loss four time and I think very bad way for Juventus as bigger team where Napoli and AC Milan without unbeaten right now. I think Juventus have completed team without any player injury after Dybala and Morata back and become starting eleven player. I think Juventus have weakness with midfielder position and they need player keep ready for defensive and attacking way.

Well Verona always is a hard team to beat. Juventus didnt beat them for 3 or more games already in head to head matches. Also Verona o most won against Milan as well last time and is always a hard nut to beat. Juventus is still struggling in attack without Ronaldo and cant score too many goals

They won't finish top 4 that is for sure as they simply don't have space right now as Atalanta, Roma and Lazio all 3 of them are looking strong this year. It's a new era for Juventus after 3 massive years where they tried absolutely everything in order to win UCL with big players , coach and salaries but it didn't work so now it's time to play with what they have. Also Allegri is 3rd time on Juventus bench right ? I think that even him can't make this team to perform well this year.
it may be true that lazio atalanta and roma are currently one of the clubs to be reckoned with in the top 4.
but the league is still very long because there are teams when the start of the season is good but after half the season they play badly, and vice versa there are those who are not visible at the beginning of the season but at the end of the season will be better.
the possibility will always happen especially the new league enters week 10

they lost the match 2-1 against Verona, and their situation is getting worse, I don't think they need more players, they already have a good squad that should perform better than this and win more matches, but somehow that's not happening and they are losing to teams who has squads worse than Juve, I am not really sure what is happening to them but they should come out of it asap to sa ve the season.

Verona has own the match with 2:1. Juventus played well in the 2nd half though it just scored a goal. McKennie did perform well today as well in the previous matches. Simeone was on fire from Verona in the 1st half scoring 2 goals which lead Verona hold its 7th place in the table with 5 wins out of 12 matches. Juventus had chances today but yes need to improve in the upcoming match.

Hmmmm...whenever a big club losses its aura and small clubs start playing them like normal and thier mates, it's finished for that club.
In this Juventus match, their best result will be draw.
And if they continue this way in their next three matches, I doubt their possibility of climbing and maintaining top4.

Juventus are going to be the away team this time against Verona. They got unsatisfying results two times in a row. They drew with Inter by 1-1 away firstly and after that they lost to Sassuolo in their home stadium. Actually, they were doing really well before these matches. But something has started going wrong for them again now. But they are capable of recovering again. But the Verona game will be really tough for them. But they need to win to start a good form again. But my first choice for betting would be both teams to score.

Considering how many goals Verona scores (significantly more than Juventus by the way), this bet looks reasonable. Juventus is lucky that the next match in the Champions League, which will take place on November 2nd, will be against a weak opponent and they can give their best in tomorrow's match.

And the match has just finished. It looks like my prediction has won but I didn't place a bet on it unfortunately.  Grin  Verona brought the score to 2-0 in the first half already. Juventus were in a really bad situation and they needed to work hard in the second half to turn the game around. They barely scored in the 80th minute and made it 2-1. But that was it. Verona still won the match by 2-1. Juventus got another loss which is two times in a row now. They should already say goodbye to the chance of winning the title this season.

Anyone put a bet on Hellas Verona to win? I really don't get it but it is similar to Manchester United. Great team on paper but they play really bad. This is a bit confusing though as I would argue that Allegri definitely has some standing as a coach. Yet he can't manage the team to function well, similar to Solskjaers problems. I think Manchester United and Juventus are the teams that are surprising the most this season in terms of delivering bad performances. Thirteen points behind Napoli after eleven games and one more game played for Juve. Who would have thought...

I also think so if it seems that this season Napoli will end with a trophy, but actually the real challenge of Naples is in the second half of the season later, because I see many Italian teams that were initially quite consistent and even managed to become champions in the half of the season, but they were not able to maintain the consistency of their game , so that towards the end of the season they were thrown out of the championship track, as happened to AC Milan last season.

this is what napoli have to think about today how they have to stay consistent in every game.
because according to what you said, sometimes a team is so consistent in the beginning but when they want to face the middle of the season their performance will decline and vice versa, some of their performances are bad at the beginning of the season but after the middle of the season to the end of the season will be consistent.
Their strategy must be really mature, not only to face the game but also in maintaining the condition of the players, the rotation of players so as not to fatigue and the relationship between players and coaches must be maintained
Maybe not only in Serie A the curse of the team that won the half of the season but failed to win at the end of the season happens, in several other European competitions we often see if the team that appears dominant in the begin of the season but fails to win the trophy at the end of the season, and I hope Napoli will be able to break the curse, it's true as you say and this is where the role of the coach is needed to be able to manage their squad rotation properly, but actually January can be an opportunity for a club, especially Napoli to improve their squad by adding some new players, so that every rotation of the squad is done will certainly be able to maintain the balance of their squad.
yep, according to what you said, because this is certainly always there every season and not even just in Serie A, maybe even in almost every league there must be something like this.
but on the other hand I think for next week Napoli will be favored because indeed their opponents in the next weeks both in the euro league and serie a are not as tough as AC Milan has to fight, their opponents lazio and inter can be the toughest for several Next week will be different from its rival AC Milan as it has to play against tough teams such as Roma, Inter and FC Porto and ATM at UCL.
they are more difficult in this regard and I think Napoli will use this as an opportunity to extend the gap in the table

In fact, if you look at the statistics, the main problem of Juventus is the attack. Juventus concedes goals quite a bit more often than the leaders (with the exception of Napoli), but scores goals almost half as often as they do. Maybe this situation will be corrected when Morata and Dybala finally return to the game, but now problems in the attack prevent Juventus from being a serious competitor to the leaders.
hm I guess you haven't seen the final standings properly.
they currently have only 14 goals conceded and 13 conceded which means they only have 1 goal difference.
in comparison they are the same as sasuolo at the moment but indeed between defense and attack both must be improved.
they often forget the defense area when they are attacking and vice versa when they defend sometimes they forget about the attack

The leaders have conceded approximately 12 goals on average. Juventus has 13. Leaders have 22+ goals scored on average. Juventus has scored 14 goals. It looks like you looked at the final standing inattentively.
Meanwhile Juventus is down 0-2 and in today's match it is disastrously bad in both attack and defense  Grin
