Mourinho will have an important loss at the beginning of the season, with Spinazzola injured.

He is an excellent left side, that Mourinho will have to find a replacement for the start of the season.

~snip~
He should have bought new players, I don't think they will compete if new players don't come. Just look at last season, they were in 7th position at the end of the league. I think changing coaches without spending on new players is the same.
Since Chelsea he has always had good players in his team. Maybe at Roma he dropped a bit because they don't have a lot of star players.

Do I think he will buy or will he use a side that is already on the squad?
He is not recognized before the Euro 2020 and football is a team sport so Mourinho will have enough time to fix the absence of Spina. He has a few months to fix it and I wish that Spina will return in the second half of Serie A 2021 - 2022.

Mourinho prioritizes for defense system so if in the pre-season training, he does not find any player to replace Spina, he might buy one from the transfer market. Roma have Davide Santon but Mourinho does not have impression with Davide. Let's see his assessment after the pre-season training.

I've heard that Manchester Utd and PSG have been interested in him but haven't made any offer to him officially. AFAIK, his manager is trying to extend Ronaldo's contract to 2023. If he fails, then we may see Ronaldo at Manchester Utd or PSG in the next season, who knows?

I read about Ronaldo's agent want to continue to work with Juventus. But, if they are failed, so we can see another star players leave his club with free agent. This is certainly a loss for Juventus, they should be able to sell Ronaldo at a fairly high price, but due to the condition of almost all clubs experiencing financial problems after Covid-19, it seems that selling Ronaldo and extending Ronaldo's contract will be difficult.

Ronaldo is a player that is super execpectional, ever since I started watching football,I have not seen anyone that is as good as Ronaldo.
If you can find one player is better than Ronaldo, the player is Messi.

Quote
If Juventus keeps  hold of him,it's solely because they know his worth. Despite being of age,he can still deliver as much goals as u want him to.So going to Either PSG or Man-u  will be a good bargain buy.
Nowadays, after more than ten years we are familiar with 40 to 50 goals in one season from Messi and Ronaldo. We seem to forget that in the past, best strikers used to score about 20 to 25 goals in their leagues.

Since the transfer to Juventus, Ronaldo managed to maintain that rate. It is very impressive if we accept the fact that Ronaldo is going to his fourty. PSG, if Ronaldo leaves Juventus, he might sign a contract with PSG because that club are very strong and in last 2 seasons, they are very close to Champions League title.

It is still interesting to know about Ronaldo's future, where two big teams, PSG and Manchester United, have said they are interested in signing Ronaldo. There are also rumors that say Ronaldo will soon extend his contract at Juventus, hopefully it's true. Because I think it's better for Ronaldo to stay at Juventus, I see Ronaldo's role at Juventus is very important. But if the salary offer given by Juventus does not match what Ronaldo wants, Ronaldo will most likely leave Juventus.
Yes, I am also interested in how this situation with Ronaldo will be resolved. I think that everything will be decided by the economic situation at Juventus and whether the club is able to pay wages to such an expensive player. Also, a lot depends on the desire of the player himself, because in addition to rumors about Ronaldo's desire to change the club at the end of the season, new information about the desire of the player himself has not been received. However, recently slipped information about the fact that the player's agent allegedly offered the club to extend the contract, and the club asked for time to think, indirectly may indicate that Ronaldo still decided to stay at Juventus.

Ronaldo is at the end of his career but he can provide more than 20 or even 30 goals every season. It is better than many younger players. Problems that are barriers for a transfer to another club is his salary and his ambition to win titles especially Champions League. There are not many clubs can satisfy the demand of Ronaldo.

~snip~

Yeah, he's 36 years old now but he still scores many goals in a season. For example, he scored 29 goals in 33 games in the Serie A last season. He's like he's not from our world.  Cheesy

When it comes to his probable transfer, there are some teams which can meet his criteria actually, like PSG and Manchester Utd. And to be honest, Ronaldo can have a bigger chance to win the CL title if he goes to one of these clubs. Especially PSG have a big potential for it. But if his manager becomes successful about extending his contract with Juventus, it'll be guaranteed seeing him for one more year there.

About Juventus, I think they got good income from Ronaldo and what happened because of the pandemic is common in football. Every clubs suffer financial troubles since the pandemic, not only Juventus and it is not responsibility of Ronaldo.
They can do a trick, renew his contract by 1 year so in this way they put less money as an expense since the money will divide in 2 years.
Anyway, his agent is currently in Italy, we can have news very soon.

Remember CR7 is not only a player is an Industry and we have only 50days left in the transfer market, if a normal player can wait the final week of the session he can't just do it.

Besides that next week, Juventus will start the preparation for the new season with the players who weren't in the Euro or Copa America.
I still think that I rather have a good player with a great potential who is 23 years old then get Ronaldo who could still be best player in the world, or any player you think the best player in the world at that age, it is not just about Ronaldo, it is about not getting older players who cost too much and do not bring you future chances.

Ronaldo is awesome nobody can deny that but he is also older as well, you can still play him this year, or next year, or 5 more years but if you get a 23 year old player that means at the very least you will get 10 more years out of him, if he turns out to be like Ronaldo then maybe you could get 15 more years, that is just not something you can get that easily, hence why younger players even if a bit worse is my choice. However if you do not have that choice, then you should just stick to plan and pay Ronaldo for 2 even 3 more years and then just end his contract there, that is probably max you can get out of him.

@coinlocket$ I personally feel that Ronaldo's team is making all this noise in the press about him leaving, because neither Manchester United nor PSG want him, because if they did they would have already made a bid for him. Lastly his best option is to take a pay cut and stick with Juventus, unless Juventus don't have any money to pay him then he’ll be asked to leave but it’ll be interesting to see where he goes then.
Nothing is clear but his teammates confirmed that he will stay and that there is discussion with Juve to renew his contract. Obviously, if there is an attractive offer from PSG or United or any other reputable team then he will consider it for sure. So far, staying in Juve seems to be the only solution.

As for Cristiano Ronaldo, the situation is incomprehensible and confusing, and in order to sell football shirts, you must first keep the football player;) If at first, after the end of the season, Ronaldo seemed to express his wishes to leave the club, now the player's agent, Jorge Medes, offered to extend the club's contract with the player, to which the Juventus management seemed to ask for time to think. On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain also seems to be interested in the services of a football player and is constantly in contact with an agent. In any case, Ronaldo will not remain without a club and everything depends on the financial condition of Juventus.

Ronaldo is still very good no doubt,If PSG can afford to buy him,it will be great. And for Roma,Morinho have come to turn things around for them,he wants to take full charge of the team, the changes he desires to make is left for him.Signing new quality players can help him accomplish his goal at AS Roma.

I once read an article published by the news site The Guardian when ronaldo moved to Juventus (2018), in the article it was stated that Juventus had sold almost 520,000 jerseys in just 24 hours and from the sale, Juventus managed to make a profit of almost USD62, 4 million and that was almost half of the cost of moving ronaldo from real madrid to juventus at that time, and if I'm not mistaken the effect of ronaldo's arrival to juventus also increased the value of their shares by almost 40%, so you can imagine how big the income that juventus can get after 2 seasons of ronaldo playing for Juventus right now, so I think if Juventus sells Ronaldo in the future, it will certainly have a huge impact on their financial problems.

The Italian league wasn't quite that weak last year. Inter Milan, AC Milan, Atalanta, Juventus, Napoli, Lazio, they are all decent teams and if in perfect condition can definitely start a good run in the league even against the good teams. The team that surprises me the most is Atalanta. For a couple of years now it is always a goal festival when you watch them. They have an average I think that is close to four goals in total per game (score + concede). That's crazy and awesome to watch! Still they manage to finish as the winner in so many games despite not being a big name among the top five or six.

Of course, these are all decent teams. But Lazio and Roma couldn't perform very well in the last season. Both of them lost many points. If they showed a greater performance, they could have been in the competition for even top 4. Let's see if they will become better in the next season. And yeah, Atalanta did a perfect job with a squad like that. They managed to end at the 3rd place ahead of Juventus. That should even be really enough for them.

Thanks for the link to that article. I knew they got financial troubles (as same as other clubs) and also asked their players to cut their salary a bit.

I just wonder how much they have earn from selling Ronaldo jersey? Totally, so far.

Exactly, from this conditions, thats why i think if Juventus need more sponsors from my previous comments. I also trying to find any data how many ronaldo jersey sold by juventus few months ago, but I can't find anything. New season, new jersey, in current economy, i think Juventus also find hard to sell a lot of jersey for next season.
