If Mourinho keeps using the same tactic here at Roma also, I give really low chance for Roma to finish even in top 4. I don't like his game plan. He just likes to park the bus or start defending after scoring 1 or 2 goals. And it was really annoying to see at Tottenham last season. It was nearly costing them all of the European tournaments. They barely qualified for the Europa Conference League.

I hope that he tries something else here. Otherwise, a problematic season could be waiting for Roma.

Only the game will show everything, but judging by the result of Jose at Tottenham, there are some doubts. I have great sympathy for the figure of Jose himself, but the style of play that he has been imposing on his clubs lately is not only not bringing entertainment, but also the necessary result. I even hope that Morinho will no longer use negative football formations that force his team to defend completely aka park the bus, I think Morinho is one of the most controversial coaches ever, and Morinho will do everything possible to make his team win even with a slightly dirty game Grin

I think now Morinho defensive tactics are obsolete and very easily destroyed by other teams, in fact when Morinho coached Tottenham, in several Tottenham matches, the opposing team could actually take advantage of the situation to win the game when Tottenham were ahead, because the change of tactics from attack to defense was frequent times made tottenham drop points even though at first they played dominantly and scored of the goal in the match.

Granite Xhaka will support Lorenzo Pellegrini well in the mid-field. Pellegrini will have his tasks for ball distribution and attacking, and Xhaka will protect the area in front of defenders.

Actually I used Mourinho when I was in another league, but the heyday was in Serie A with Inter Milan but will AS Roma go back to the past at least being in the top 4 of Serie A this season?
Mourinho still has a few good tactics even what he needs in a player like him must be followed because he knows which players are the right fit for his position as a coach, well since the season has not started we are just speculating about then we will see later in the month the august walk saw Mourinho With Roma.

I agree with you, although now roma has been handled by Morinho, but this does not necessarily make Roma as a candidate for champion next season, now Morinho has a hard job to improve the performance of Roma's game which was quite bad last season and of course Morinho need to bring in some players who can indeed follow his coaching style in Rome at the moment and So that that will take a little longer in my opinion. As far as I remember,
The last time Rome won the title was in the 2007/2008 season in the Coppa Italia and after that even Rome seemed to have lost the mentality to compete in the race for the title, even Rome for the last three seasons could not finish in the top four of Serie A.
