Oh...  So it wasn't a done deal then.  Pep also said he wasn't going anywhere a month before those rumors were getting out of hand.

Of course, he couldn't say anything different since he was under contract with ManCity.

So wtf were those journos doing by saying Pep already said 'yes'...?  They prolly didn't care and just wanted us to read what they print.  And a lot of people got really excited and ate it.  Lmao.

It's a better thing for Milan to stay out of the Cups.

If a team stays out from Europe it will have fewer obligations for the Financial Fairplay.

Some rumors a month ago were about for Milan to ask at UEFA to say out from cups.

AC Milan has been kicked out from EuropaLeague

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/breaking-ac-milan-banned-2019-17270739

this is a double money lost for AC Milan and there will be for sure a player "giveaway" soon to consolidate the financial structure for the incoming season
If Ac Milan is banned from the European league next season. Is As Roma who will replace that position, because the one under AC milan is As Rome. It's sad for Ac Milan to be caught in this case. And next season, of course, you can only play in the Italian league.
Too bad AC Milan can't appear at UEL, a lot of the problems facing AC Milan are very disappointing for Football fans, especially their loyal fans. I hope the Milan AC replacement in UEL will be able to perform well in every match.

too bad? They knew perfectly what was the risk, and they risked it, and now AC Milan has to pay for it
rules are rules

it will be great to ban Juve from every competition as well, cause their twelve player is the referee, wee all know that...

Big clubs from Italy like AC Milan did not look active in the transfer market and the news about their club was not as big as the news about Juventus, is the media less interested in giving news about AC Milan?

It's not even the start of the transfer window for some European leagues yet. Expect moves to happen at late July to early August when the rest of teams already know what their options and how much money they will spend to get it. And if you are talking about moves being done in with Serie A clubs you won't get it in ordinary English websites because most of the fresh news out there are in Italian like LaGazetta Dello Sports.
but usually like other big clubs rumors about the club are always talked about in big media but for AC Milan there is very little news, are they just choosing to publish news about a club that has a bigger market?

In the past few years AC Milan did not have interesting news to discuss with the media. Even mediocre than the previous season. Plus there is no transfer that makes us say "wow". So Ac Milan is just a normal club right now. Don't compare with Juventus, it's too heavy for Milan.  Grin Cheesy
I think it's their management problem that has made their club unable to compete in Serie A even in the few seasons they didn't participate in UCL. It is unfortunate that historic clubs like them cannot compete in Europe.
It is a pity that formerly AC Milan was a club that often competed at UCL, currently only in European leagues. What amazed me was that Atalanta was able to enter the top 3 as of the previous season and next season will compete at UCL.
Milan is an Italian club with the most UCL trophies compared to other Italian clubs, I am also surprised that Atal is able to compete strongly in Serie A and will be a new challenger at the upcoming UCL season.
If we look back, of course, Milan Ac is always seeded if competing in series A or UCL. And if we look at it, of course it is inversely proportional. To qualify for the UCL phase, AC Milan is unable. Ends the glory of Milan now, which is only able to compete in the European league.

Milan lost Berlusconi and lost his power, now is a middle team for 3th 4th position, nothing more... probably less if they will not solve their financial problems.

They didn't lose Berlusconi, Silvio is the one who lost A.C. Milan  woth corruption and greed growing in him he sold their best players and bought nothing in return and that's the point where it goes all in south. So far I believe that Milan has 3 ownership changes within 5 years and that tells a lot on how it hinders the progress of a rebuilding team. Elliot management seems to be the right team to fix Milan and so far they are pouring in money inside the team. This will be a long process for them since a lot of Serie A teams now are getting more and more competitive towards the UCL spots.

If they don't solve this financial problem their club will make Ac Milan fans disappointed and laughed at by other Italian clubs even though in the old era AC Milan was the most successful in Europe compared to clubs in his country.

It would have been easier to leave if he was out of contract with city, He didn't want to leave the city board and fans betrayed, which would have been the case if he had left barely month after his statement of staying, he wouldn't have had any genuine reason to justify leaving.

I'm convinced if the job remains open after his current contract, He's going! That could even be the plan, for all we know.

I wonder why those insiders kept insisting that Pep to Juve was a 'done deal' when Pep already said he wasn't even going:  https://www.marca.com/en/football/international-football/2019/05/17/5cdecf02ca4741d9278b4567.html

That was May.

The Guardiola clause as said was up to 15/06/2019

Sarri was announced on 16/06/2019

This Guardiola friend (journalist for Mundo deportivo) said "Guardiola to Juve next 2 years" on 12.06.2019

I don't get it...  Did those journos assume that Pep was moving to Juve or are they saying he's gonna move to Juve on 2021...?  Moving to Juve on 2021, I can accept.  Pep never really stayed long in one club so far.

No, they said around 05 06 2019, the clause can be used till the 15 06 2019 if will get a UEFA sentence.

On the 16 06 2019, we haven't the sentence so they announced Sarri.

During the week 05 06 2019, The Journalist called Cristina Cubero 12 06 2019 made an interview with Guardiola and said that Guardiola will come at 2021.
