I wonder why those insiders kept insisting that Pep to Juve was a 'done deal' when Pep already said he wasn't even going:  https://www.marca.com/en/football/international-football/2019/05/17/5cdecf02ca4741d9278b4567.html

That was May.

The Guardiola clause as said was up to 15/06/2019

Sarri was announced on 16/06/2019

This Guardiola friend (journalist for Mundo deportivo) said "Guardiola to Juve next 2 years" on 12.06.2019

I don't get it...  Did those journos assume that Pep was moving to Juve or are they saying he's gonna move to Juve on 2021...?  Moving to Juve on 2021, I can accept.  Pep never really stayed long in one club so far.

Big clubs from Italy like AC Milan did not look active in the transfer market and the news about their club was not as big as the news about Juventus, is the media less interested in giving news about AC Milan?

Sarri has officially become a Juventus coach now I'm curious about who the players will be recruited by Juventus in the transfer market later, I think Juventus still need some players in several sectors such as defenders.
That is what is awaited at this time, There have been no rumors regarding new players who will be brought in Juventus this season. Maybe you have to wait patiently and always see the transfer progress this season. Do you think players who have to send sarri to Juventus?
I think there will be players brought by Sarri from Chelsea but I don't know who it is but the media always say that Sarri will do that. if it's not mistaken this also happened when Sarri coached Chelsea he also brought in several players from the club he had previously trained.

If he really did want to leave and City was holding him back, then we would've heard about it from those 'insiders' by now.

The "fear" is that now City will be punished and he goes to Barca.

Do you remember Valverde Sack not sack in 4 hours 3 weeks ago?

There's no fear.  I'm pretty sure Pep will see thru his contract, UCL ban or no ban, and leave on 2021 (if he decides not to extend).

We could talk all day and argue or we could also bet.  Smiley

^  Not happening.  Pep would still complete his contract with City and leave on 2021.

And nothing went wrong.  Pep was offered a lot of money to be Juve manager and he refused.  It's as simple as that.  Again, he's indebted to Begiristain and Soriano.  Two men he respects the most professionally.

Not sure about it, more likely manchester city said no to Juventus.

We will know more when the sentence will be published on the media.

Nah.  Pep to Juve was a long shot imho.  But yeah, all we can do is wait a while and see what really went on...  Wanna bet on it?  I say Pep told Juve 'no'.  20 bucks.  Wink  We could go lower if you want.

Hahaha, i always had a feeling it was never going to be Pep to Juventus. I mean chap just grabbed a couple of trophies for City after a rocky start when he had just join the EPL. Why would he leave right now yet his momentum is just getting started?  Grin

If city will be punished his salary will go down by 70-80% for the salary cap penalty.

Great momentum? lol
The Board of Manchester City hired him because the previous manager were unable to get them the Champions League title.
Guardiola is still unsuccessful on that, so i think that they will think of firing him.

Cheesy I also think why many people say that Pep is one of the candidates to become a Juventus coach. Previously, I said, the pep will not go away from the MC before he can win in European competition, one of them is the Champions League.

Dream over.

Sarri new coach.

Fuck Sarriball #Sarriout.

Finally, of the many candidates who became Juventus coaches. Sarri who eventually became the official coach of Juventus next season. This is very good, the Serie A competition will be very exciting next season with new coaches from Juventus and other clubs.

Sarri only returned to his home country, Italy, he was familiar with Italian football because he had been a coach in Serie A. I think the minimum standard that must be achieved by Sarri is to maintain the scudeto and win the Coppa Italia.

^  Lololol. Told ya...  And don't be like those classes idiots at Chelsea.  They finished third (I mean really, it's great, what were they expecting  being with LFC and City?), got the Europa League and they're in the CL.  Not a bad season for Sarri at Chelsea.

And this is why I never thought Pep would leave City...  Txiki Begiristain and Ferran Soriano.  Both were instrumental in making Pep the manager he is today (and more importantly at Barca).  Now sporting director and CEO of City.

Juve wants Pep?  Get Txiki at least, both at the most.

The Guardiola Clause was available until 15th June. Today is 16th. Something went wrong I guess.

Can be a case but I doubt it. Anyway, imagine if now city will be punished by UEFA and Pep goes to... Barca? Sick life.

Sarri is a good coach but it will be hated by Fans for his history when he was on Napoli.
