Torino leads Lazio 1-0 to halftime. Will derby rival will help increase Juventus advantage? For me this result is a big surprise. However, we still have the other half. Lazio will definitely be able to win this match. I don't expect any surprise in a later Juve match. Genoa plays very poorly and I won't be surprised when they fall out of the league. Only weaker form of their rivals can save them.

This transfer is basically a dream come true for Juventus but what I wonder is, Arthur had to be convinced and that is usually not a good thing, if you have to convince a player to move to another team and have hard time doing it but eventually the player gives in and agrees, that means the player will have hard time playing there and be happy about it.

What if Arthur comes in and on the first year plays like he doesn't want to and has trouble with the staff and the head coach and even worse with his teammates? You can't just send him away, that is literally what he wants, if you want to take the best out of him you need to keep him happy and that is a very hard thing and shouldn't be needed to begin with. Let's hope Arthur shows professionalism and plays properly in Juventus even if he doesn't like it there.

^^ There are some tough fixtures of Juventus in July since they have to both play Atalanta and Lazio, they also have a fixture with Ac milan but wouldn't consider a much threat as compared to two. Lazio dropped some points leading to a good amount of gap between the two but have to admit that it was quite expected in Atalanta game and same is with Inter who also dropped points with draw against Sassuolo.

Atalanta have also 1 game in the last round with Inter and there isn't much difference. Agree about Ilicic being the impact player throughout the season for Atalanta.

What was looking so close at the top turned into comfortable lead for Juventus and Lazio. Are clubs following social distancing in points table? Cheesy

However, there are still 10 matches left for each team and we can still see some changes in top of the table. Atlanta can finish in top 3 with the form they are playing, Lazio can still win the league, all they need is 2 bad games from Juve. With this legendary campaign from Lazio, it would be really sad if Lazio fail to win the league.

By the way, I would like to mention one player specially - Josip Ilicic. He is one of the reason why Atalanta scoring goals like fire. If they give Best Serie A Player award to Ronaldo instead of him this season, I will lose trust on these awards.

Yeah, both of this clubs have a big chance to win the match. For Juventus, they need to win to make more points gap to keep their positions. Inter has decent odds to win the game and get three points. Inter Milan must grap 3 points if they don't want to say goodbye to the title race and fall into the race to Champions League next season. Juventus plays Genoa tonight away from home. The Luigi Ferraris Stadium is a difficult venue for Juve. I can't remember many wins in the recent years. Danilo is back after his yellow/red card. I wonder if Higuain will play from the start. I think he is not there yet. It will also be interesting to see how Pjanic will play considering that he is moving to Barcelona next season. Haha that's so true. Leicester could won Premier League, Atletico could won La Liga, Montpellier could won Ligue 1, Dortmund and Wolfsburg could won Bundesliga, but it's likely impossible in Serie A. While a non rich team playing well in first half of season there, they turning bad in the other half. And vice versa.

I agree with you on the quality of Lukaku, Martinez, and Eriksson but disagree with you on Ashley Young. He is too old and I don't think Young will play critical role in Inter Milan's squad next one or two season. Martinez is a big uncertainty because many big clubs want to steal him (through transfer) from Inter.

If there will be no conflict of interests, Lukaku and Eriksson will play some seasons for Inter that will be good for them. Inter can really fight for Serie A title and beat Juventus next season but regarding to Champions League, it is a bet. Inter does not strong enough to think of Champions League. But it is football and everything can happen. They are not strong enough but not too weak and they can do some surprising matches.
