Honestly I'm very surprised with that. I mean it was only the beginning of the season. He wasn't given enough time to see whether he makes progress. I remember how long Arsenal kept patient with Arteta and how it paid out later on. What a pity...

Even I don't think De Rossi can help Roma too much like winning titles, this decision is too tough from Roma boss. But it's bitter life and coach management job is never easy. De Rossi loves this club and he spent so much efforts as their temporary then official head coach and he has nothing to regret with what he has done with them. No title but at least he left some impression as a head coach of Roma and revived some sweet memory with this club like years ago as a player for them.
This is a hasty decision. How will the management forget Daniele de Rossi's sacrifice and hard work last season? In his first eleven games last season, he lost just one and helped them qualify for the Europa. Maybe there might be other reasons why he was sacked besides their poor performance.
It's a shock decision from Roma and it shows that in modern football where money is most important, it's hard to give great patience to coaches if results are not good enough. Roma by spending too much money in the summer, actually expected much more from De Rossi. Performances of Roma in first four matches in Serie A are bad, but this decision is too tough. They only lost one match and have 3 draws, and if they only win one of three draw matches, De Rossi would have been given more time in Roma.
There are indications that the club is considering hiring Ivan Juric and Edin Terzic. Other free coaches like Maurizio Sarri or Massimiliano Allegri can be his replacement.
Terzic with his experience and success in Dortmund is a better coach than De Rossi and if Terzic get appointment as a new head coach, he can help Roma in long run too. Sarri and Allegri are other good choices for Roma and between them, I would like to see Allegri in AS Roma, not Sarri. They have tradition of playing beauty football and Sarri can satisfies this demand but success with Mourinho shows that, titles are more important and Allegri can help Roma better with his philosophy.
de Rossi might have to consider his future and maybe the Saudi Professional League will be an option for him. Roma management will have themselves to blame if they make the right choice.
I really don't think so and he will try to manage another club in Italy rather than move to Saudi Professional League. He will consider a movement to Saudi Arabia if there is no offer from Italian club in coming months.
