Fresh news here. De Rossi has officially got sacked by Roma after a poor start...

Honestly I'm very surprised with that. I mean it was only the beginning of the season. He wasn't given enough time to see whether he makes progress. I remember how long Arsenal kept patient with Arteta and how it paid out later on. What a pity...  Sad

With whom do you think his seat will be filled?  Huh  For now nobody comes to my mind honestly as I was following the players and managers closer in the latest transfer window. I hope Roma doesn't make a bad choice.

What's surprising about that if they sacked Mourinho, who brought them the title plus the Europa League final (where Roma were robbed)? Whoever they take to replace Rossi, Roma won't rise above what Mourinho did. It seems the management wants some incredible miracles with the usual level of investment. It will be nice to see them fail.

I was also surprised why they sacked Mourinho in the first place. Roma seemed to think that signing De Rossi would be a miracle maker. They thought he could win anything with this team. Then Rossi failed, and they're signing a coach from a mediocre club, Ivan Juric, as their new coach.

Roma has been grounded since they sacked Mourinho. Then, they hired amateur coaches, like Rossi, and now Juric. What a downgrade!!

If AS Roma keeps firing their coaches, it will get to a point that they will find it difficult getting a serious coach for the team because of job security. It takes far more than four matches to measure a coach because coaching is something that is not just easy. Imagine choosing players from the thousands of players all over the world, it is not an easy task. Besides, there is no trust when you have to fire a coach that easily because they are not magicians. I will suggest they be more patient with any manager they hire, as that is how loyalty is built.
Roma must not rush to fire De Rossi. Even though the results of the four matches played by Roma were less than satisfactory, this could be said to be quite normal. The reason is that De Rossi will definitely need more than one season to be able to make the team he manages into a great team. So the actions taken by Roma were deemed inappropriate, because Roma was impatient with the process De Rossi was going through. The reason is, finding a replacement for De Rossi is not an easy thing. Because if Roma brings in a new coach, it will definitely take a long time to adapt to be able to build good chemistry with the players. So the worst thing that could happen if for example Roma brought in a new coach is to get worse results than now.

Maybe Roma management still remembers what happened last season, when Mourinho was fired in the middle of last season and replaced by De Rossi. At that time, De Rossi really brought quite good changes to Roma. However, this will most likely be difficult to repeat if, for example, Roma changes coach again this season. But what can be done from the news circulating that De Rossi has officially been fired by Roma. So it is certain that Roma will bring in another new coach. We'll see what Roma will be like with their new coach. Until now, I personally don't know who will replace De Rossi at Roma.

Yes and that was the only goal they got to avoid defeat and equalize from Monza who are one of the lower teams and team that clearly has performance quality far below Inter Milan.
I was surprised by Inter Milan game which was not as competitive as in some of their previous matches, Inter Milan had quite good dominance of the match and they had lot of opportunities in every attack attempt, overall Inter Milan had 16 shots and only two were really on target for Monza.
After this they will play in their first UCL match, but they have an opponent that is not easy to beat, namely Manchester City, I sure Inter Milan will really feel the strength of Manchester City again like when they met in the 2022/23 UCL final.
I agree Inter Milan game against Monza was disappointing. They had 16 shots but only two were good enough to score. They struggled to control game and score. Now they face Manchester City in UCL and I think they will have  tough time. Manchester City is very strong and they beat Inter Milan easily in their last meeting. Inter Milan needs to improve their offense and defense to compete with City aggressive style.
But in today match against Manchester City showed Inter Milan playing can match Manchester City and they were able to play away by holding 0 - 0 draw until the second half finished and eventually shared the points.
I was quite surprised to see Inter Milan able to match Manchester City game, but indeed both are strong enough team for the UCL competition even in today match Inter Milan also had quite lot of aggressive attack efforts even though none of them resulted in goal.
In this match I paid enough attention to Yann Sommer, he can still be relied on and made many saves, Inter Milan avoidance of defeat against Manchester City today I also think it was because of Yann Sommer performance which was really the most dominant.

Roma does not change coaches very often in fact the previous coach Jose Mourinho lasted almost 3 seasons with Roma he was fired when the season was almost over because of unsatisfactory results actually Roma did not perform badly it's just that the club's expectations wanted Roma to be in the Champions League zone and Jose Mourinho could not fulfill it. De Rossi replaced Jose Mourinho and he did a good job by achieving many victories but actually Roma only hired this coach temporarily until the end of the season but for some reason the management changed their mind and gave Daniele De Rossi the opportunity to return to coach Roma this season but who would have thought again he could not provide good results at the beginning of the season so Roma fired him before the season passed long there are still many opportunities for Roma to improve this season.

Is like the Roma board of directors are confused on who to manage the team because giving a manager an opportunity to serve as a coach for a particular period of time and later having that trust to allow him continue and when they did not see anything positive at this early stage of this campaign they went about to fire him, it only shows how inpatient they are, I mean the Roma board.
Fine Roma are not doing well but it doesn't mean the fault is from the manager De Rossi, the team lost some good players like Smalling, Belotti, Renato Sanches, Abraham who have been one of the tool in scoring goals for them and many more, ever since they haven't been having that connection as a team which means the team itself isn't playing as a unit like they don't understand how to operate as one, so I don't really blame the coach.

It's yet another season for Roma to suffer another high level of instability, this isn't the best way to go if they really want to achieve a result differently from that which they have been getting, I have to take a deep breath and ask, for how long will they keep sacking and hiring new coaches before they are going to get it right with their coaches, because this pattern of theirs is basically going to mess with the players to the best of my knowledge, because just when the players are already getting along with a new coach, he gets sacked and they have to start all over again to get along with another, its not a good management strategy. Currently like you said there's almost no better replacement and games have been fixed for the team, how are they going to manage, and for how long will they be with an intern till the arrival of an actual coach? Roma just be looking messy to me actually.
Roma constant coaching changes are harmful. They cause confusion and stop progress. Changing coaches too often creates problems and disrupts team unity. Players struggle to adjust to new coaches and strategies. Roma management needs clear plan for future not just quick solutions. Changing coaches often leads to poor performance. So Roma management should think about it otherwise Roma will not survive in next matches.

That's what happens if there are no indicators of the process in a camp, and Roma management must have regretted it after Mourinho left and replaced him with their legend, and now they have broken up of course this is frontal but now they have to think long term to be able to give time for the coaching process because all of that will not be instant and I think Roma management must issue their statement on this quick decision, for me this separation will indeed happen but I don't think in such a short time but Roma definitely wants what is good for the club and I think this is a unanimous decision that will be taken which will later have an impact on their squad.

However I read about the development of their coaching bench Roma wants to have a coach like Gesperini who is effective in developing young players and also their attacking style of play, that's good enough in this statement for the development of young players but if later they don't get satisfaction it's a shame the next coach will lose his job in a short time, and I think the same as you they Roma must be wiser in determining their future because otherwise this city will dim.

Frequent changes of coaches can make the team's performance decline because I think when a team gets a new coach then there must be time to adapt, now if a team recruits a coach and after some time feels unsuitable because there is no development then will replace him and continue like that of course it will make the team's performance messy where the players have to adapt again and again with this new strategy making the players unfocused, so it is natural that Roma is experiencing poor performance.
I agree with you, they should be able to consider everything and must be willing to go through the process because frequent changes of coaches are not right, they need patience not quick decisions. In addition, development will be seen if they can adapt to each other, they will not find the best performance just by appointing a new coach.

We got one coach sacked before the next week.
It is De Rossi, it has been removed and Juric will take his spot.
After a terrible start of the season they could have done nothing else.
Maybe was a better move changing him before the summer.
It only took 4 matches for AS Roma to fire their coach, De Rossi. They were not satisfied with what De Rossi showed in those 4 matches, so they decided to fire him sooner. Maybe they thought of responding sooner before things got worse, but they also had a risk because their new coach might not be better than De Rossi. However, with better hopes, they decided all that. De Rossi was quite promising at first, but who knows what happened at the beginning of this season he couldn't give what AS Roma expected, even worse than that. On the other hand, AS Roma also didn't want their team to continue to get negative results like that, because they also definitely wanted to compete at the top to win the title, or at least they could finish in a ranking that could take them to the Champions League next season.
If AS Roma keeps firing their coaches, it will get to a point that they will find it difficult getting a serious coach for the team because of job security. It takes far more than four matches to measure a coach because coaching is something that is not just easy. The results achieved by Roma this season in Serie A since the beginning of the season, 0 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat, perhaps because the negative results in the last four matches made Roma Management annoyed and immediately pressured De Rossi since the beginning of the season. Previously, Roma's top brass were very satisfied with De Rossi performance after bringing the club to 7th position after 8 months of being appointed as coach, but after officially signing a 3-year contract, he was unable to show impressive performance even though he had received some new ammunition in the transfer market.
Now Ivan Juric will fill the vacant position of Roma Coach after De Rossi dismissal, can he lift Roma performance as expected by management? well, we'll see.

So, obviously, when such a performance is seen, the management will be angry and the way you describe their performance, I am amazed.  A performance like this should not be allowed to come into the season as it is.  I was also impressed with Roma's performance but this season they have turned their good performances into bad performances and we have seen the results.  But anyway, they should improve their performance now and if they play with such performance in this season and next season, they will be in a weak situation.  But I don't want that because I was impressed by his performance.  But in spite of this, if their performance were to be like this, wrong words will come out for them and the management will also be angry.  They have been coached but they have stopped working hard which is why these results are there.
Vincent Kompany was a great player and having been a captain at Manchester City it is not surprising that people like Pep Guardiola feel that Kompany can be a good manager. Despite his lolength at Burnley was fruitless as it could have been, he is still growing into a coach. Why should he not be in a position to manage a team like the Bayern Munich which is filled with so many world-class players to help him nurture his managerial prowess to an even higher level?

But, the Champions League is an entirely different ball game altogether. The national leagues may be managed by young or inexperienced managers with the powerful teams, but in the European cups the manager need more experience as well as more temper. A clash between Kompany and Guardiola in the champions league would be mouth-watering because it would make a capture of the growth of Kompany as a coach. I believe it would be quite fascinating to discover how he will react when faces a manager of Guardiola calibre a man whose ideas have influenced the modern football and has achieved tremendous results with the leading clubs in Europe.

Hemmm...
This is AS Roma's 4th match, is Roma too hasty with their decision to sack de Rossi?

but whatever it is, currently, AS Roma will be managed by Ivan Juric, a 49 YO Croatian manager, at least until the end of this season.

but basically, Ivan Juric is already quite close and familiar with Serie A because he has indeed been a football manager in Serie A several times, such as previously in Genoa, Verona, and most recently in Torino.

taken from: Serie A fixture-google

Actually in Serie A, there are several top clubs that are really tough at the beginning of this season. In addition to AS Roma, there are also AC Milan and Bologna. Bologna is also very bad this time, even its position is now below AS Roma, right in 17th position. And in the UCL, Bologna failed to win, only drawing against FC Shakhtar Donetsk.

De Rossi dismissal is not something surprising given Roma current very poor performance in Serie A, last season Roma sacked Mourinho only for being involved in a conflict with the club owner and De Rossi who had little experience in coaching became Mourinho successor in coaching Roma, in the rest of the season it is indeed seen if Roma experienced an improvement in game performance and was slowly able to lift their position to a better level in Serie A,  So many of us actually compare him to Mourinho when they are finally his able to end the season in the Europa League zone, what we see at Roma this season actually indicates how De Rossi does not have the ability to build a team even though the management has brought many star players to the squad.

Each team has a different policy in judging a coach and there is clearly a significant difference in performance when Arteta and De Rossi first coached, Arteta did fail to bring Arsenal to the championship in his first season in charge but Arsenal showed an improvement in terms of playing and also their performance at that time, while De Rossi was only able to maximize the squad left by Mourinho but failed with the squad he is building today?
It is likely that the next coach to be sacked in Serie A is fonsesca and it seems inevitable after Milan failure in the Champions League match yesterday.

I don't know how bad De Rossi is as a coach, maybe he should have been given more time to prove himself, but I am 100% sure that:
1. He is weaker than Mourinho.
2. What he achieved last season is the legacy of Mourinho.
The first three games that De Rossi had as a head coach were something like against the 20th, 18th and 16th teams in Serie A. It's hard not to start "showing yourself" with a calendar like this. With him, Roma started to score more but also to concede more, all the fans (many) were happy about the changes, but in the end it led to worse results.
But in any case, the main idiots in this story are Roma's management, they have unfounded ambitions, I don't know who they will be able to hire and how long he will last in such a club.

Finally AS Roma chose to fire De Rossi after failing to bring victory in the first 4 matches, clearly this is a bad start and it seems AS Roma returned to their original plan. Because from the beginning De Rossi was appointed to be a temporary coach until the end of the season, but when he showed a progressive game AS Roma gave him a longer chance, and when he failed at the beginning of the season AS Roma did not hesitate to return to their original plan. De Rossi is one of the coaches who I think has the skills, it's just that he still has to gain a lot of experience. I think joining the Saudi Pro League team is not wrong, because he can learn a lot there. And when he succeeds in improving his skills I'm sure there will be many European teams who want to bring him in.
It is still too early and I think it is a loss for AS Roma to fire De Rossi because the new coach will have difficulty handling this team when the competition is already underway and the decision to fire a coach at the beginning of the season like this I think is not wise, AS Roma should give De Rossi time to adapt again to this team because in the previous season De Rossi has shown that he has good qualities as a coach so that he can develop the performance of the Roma team last season when he replaced Jose Mourinho.
I think they have giving him time but they see no change which is why they have to take this hard decision, checking from the beginning of the season, during the pre-season matches they never tried to be strong team for once, you saying it too early I think you are making a mistake, to me I gave him grace but he didn't bring out what they are expecting, Jose Mourinho actually tried but he faced the same thing and when De Rossi came him the game started changing, even I testified the As Roma have found a good replacement until now that we discovered it was all Jose Mourinho performance with the players he put in place, I will say from the beginning De Rossi wasn't fit to coach Roma.
I agree with you that Roma was surviving initially with Mourinho game strategy when he left but we thought that it was De Rossi good work on the club unknown to people that he has nothing to offer to the club and people were singing his praises that he is a good coach and he is winning matches with the players Mourinho was complaining about.

It was when the players could no longer use Mourinho strategy to continue winning because they lack the understanding without him for libg and that waa when we saw the true side of De Rossi that he cannot add any value to the team performance. Assuming Mourinho was still Roma's head their performance would have improved.

De Rossi raised hopes, but at the same time he brought disappointment at the beginning of the season which is a very crucial time for a coach. It should also be remembered that the management of AS Roma gave him more opportunities after previously he was only planned until the end of the season.

Good development in terms of performance last season does not seem to be going well at the beginning of this season but it does not mean that this is the end for De Rosi.

Now he is still quite trustworthy as a coach but the demands are clearly greater especially considering Roma's progress at the beginning of the season which seemed not too good of course this must be used as a lesson so that De Rosi can be able to utilize the squad he has so that its performance does not continue to decline compared to last season. De Rosi must change several things especially for the match scheme that is carried out because when talking about the formation and how the performance on the field is actually still quite good, it's just a small touch of finishing which until now is still constrained to be a problem and De Rosi must be able to change this from now on so that he can prove that he is still capable of being in Roma.

De Rossi became the fastest manager to be fired in Serie A this season, AS Roma poor performance in 4 matches made the management and club officials take a firm stance, in order to avoid the relegation zone. Ivan Juric has now been appointed as the new manager, and has started working to prepare his squad to host Udinese this weekend. On paper Ivan Juric has good momentum to record his first win, because he is acting as the host. However, on the other hand, Udinese is currently in impressive form, they have better confidence because they are at the top of the standings. Overall, this match will be troublesome for both teams.

After the big defeat of Milan in Champions League now Fornseca is at high risk.
Fans are already against the squad and their management for the bad cheap choice at the start of the season.
The crushing defeat against Liverpool made the management and fans furious with Fornseca performance, Milan's defense was very fragile which made it very easy for the opposing players to tear through their goal net. Rossoneri management must act quickly to resolve this issue to calm the fans' anger. Allegri is starting to be linked with Milan and is considered the right person to fix the defense area. Several other coaches are also still unemployed, Maurizio Sarri and Andrea Pirlo, maybe Management can appoint a Foreign Coach like Thomas Tuchel.
I mean not like it wasn't unexpected, we did see that Liverpool was better and Milan was worse and then Liverpool won, that seems like the most expected result and shouldn't really be that shocking to any of them. I am not saying that they are dealing with this the wrong way, sure if they dislike their manager then fire him early and get someone decent but that doesn't mean that it should be because of this game. They are not doing that great at the league as well and because of that maybe manager could be fired as well.

I know that it is taking some time right now for Fornseca looks like he is at a wobbly chair and could be fired at any given moment. He needs to go on a winning streak to keep his job, which is possible because if he is not fired until the next game and he goes on to win the next ten games or something then suddenly he has a very stable job and not getting fired at all. This is what he needs but I do not see how he can do it, looks like he is in trouble.

News from a few minutes ago, De Rossi sacked by Roma management.
The management judged the results to be truly disappointing for the first matches and given the nature of the investments and the fear of not entering the Champions League, they decided to sack the coach.
Very bad.

It was the right decision, because AS Roma needed quick good results and even though it took time to make the team better, but at least the coach must be able to provide good hope over time with results that are not disappointing like what AS Roma experienced at the beginning of this season. Because after all, AS Roma has also brought in new players who have good quality, but De Rossi has not managed to utilize or maximize the great potential of his players. Therefore, firing De Rossi sooner is the right choice because De Rossi has continued to decline since the end of the season and last season.

I think, at the beginning of this season De Rossi will be able to make AS Roma perform well like when De Rossi was appointed to replace Mourinho at that time last season. But unfortunately, De Rossi made AS Roma continue to get bad results and very much not according to expectations, so for me it is reasonable if De Rossi is fired, because previously I also always said AS Roma to look for a new manager and that really happened now.

The first of the last matches of the week was played between Parma and Udinese. After leading 2-0 at home in the first half, Parma couldn't prevent Udinese's 3 goals in the second half and we witnessed an unexpected point loss by losing 3-2 in a match in which they were ahead. Udinese's shots found the net in the second half and the goals came.
The other match is still ongoing
Thus, Udinese is now the leader of the Italian League. Their comeback against Parma was incredible. I have not seen such a good comeback in recent years. It seems like they deserve to be the leader right now. I think Udinese has been playing well for two years. If they can continue their form at the beginning of this year, they can take part in European cups next year. As for the championship, I can say that their chances are low, to be realistic.
Udinese have made a really good comeback with this win.Even though they are the leaders in Italy, I don't think they will be able to hang around for long.Of course, if you look at the teams they have played, they haven't faced any stronger team yet except Bologna and Lazio.Next week they travel to Roma and honestly, maybe everything will start there for them because the following week they face Inter.
After watching the Udinese vs Parma match, I have to say that Serie A is producing much more exciting games these days. Udinese is in first place after an incredible comeback against Parma. It's been a crazy start under new coach Kosta Runjaic in his debut Serie A season. They'll probably drop points later on, but for now, they’re successful making good results early. They have a strong squad, and the coach knows how to manage them. They need to keep this great form going as long as possible. They haven’t faced any big teams yet, but we can expect some unreal performances from this squad this season.
That was incredible performance by players of Udinese team. Udinese could win only 2 matches from 6 matches which they played against Parma football team.  Parma team is good team and they tried their best to win last match but unfortunately they could not win this match. Thauvin  was top performer of this match and he was match changer because he did crucial two goals for his team and without his goals ,his team could lose this match. He did his first goal at 68 minutes of the match and after this goal , score was level. Most of the people thought that ,match will be draw but we saw change in this match and he did last goal of the match at 77 minutes of the match.
