I was reading the latest news on Atalanta and Gasperini, he says that they are now aiming to finish 3rd and take the place of those who are now having problems, he also said: It means that we were the best, not the strongest" so now second knowing the coach, even though he's very good, I think he's getting a little carried away, it was understandable now we just have to see if what he says is right and he will really do what he says
Talking about finishing in 3rd place might be the goal before Gasperini aims to leave Atalanta.
After reading the reply from Velvet78 it seems that Gasperini has the desire to look for a new challenge with another club but I don't know if that is just a rumor or a reality but for me it could happen because previously it was rumored that Gasperini wanted to try to join Napoli but as said Velvet78 Napoli has found Conte to become Napoli coach.

Whatever Gasperini will do is still the best thing for Atalanta and from some of this news I have some assumptions that it is very likely that in the upcoming match Atalanta will beat Fiorentina because as you said finishing in 3rd place will be a success for Gasperini can improve the experience.
Gasperini has completed her task with Atalanta very well, she managed to give an European trophy and bring the team to qualify for the Champions League next season. I think the two success that achieved was enough for Atalanta management to always be able to maintain it. Although there are rumors that state that Gasperini will leave I think it is only a cradle. Gasperini will definitely enjoy a beautiful moment with La Dea in the Champions League next season.

Not only that, but the overall performance of the Napoli team is quite poor this season, making it difficult for Osimhen to develop.

to PSG or Chelsea, it's the same as long as Osimhen is able to get the main place and the team's performance is good so that he can provide support for Osimhen on the front lines, then I think Osimhen will be able to show his best performance again.

In League One or the Premier League it's not much different, in fact I think that in the Premier League Osimhen's career will improve even more if he performs well.
Osimhen does have the potential to become better if he is given the opportunity to play in a bigger league with a bigger club. I am sure Osimhen will be a sharper striker if he is also paired with several other great players in a team. Osimhen this season at Napoli is not very good. But not only Osimhen but almost all Napoli players seem to have lost their best performance this season. Napoli this season is very different from Napoli in the past few seasons. It seems that Napoli's time with Spalletti will not be easy for everyone to forget. Because at that time Napoli was at its peak again.

Currently there is a lot of talk about Osimhen who might be targeted by many top-class teams from various leagues. Man United and Chelsea are also among the teams interested in Osimhen. It was even rumored that Arsenal were interested in Osimhen. And to be honest rather than being at Chelsea or Man United, I think Arsenal would be a better club for Osimhen. But there is no latest news regarding Arsenal.

Osimhen performed well in the 2022–23 season. He was able to score 26 goals and 4 assists in 32 appearances in Serie A. But the Napoli team did not get the expected performance from Osimhen in the last season. Firstly Napoli's overall gameplay was slow and weak. Napoli have not played well this season due to poor match tactics and poor bonding between players. Also Osimhen suffered an injury early in the season. Osimhen's performances have been erratic since his return from injury.

I think the PSG squad is perfect for Osimhen. Ligue 1 is slightly less competitive. Chances of injury are very low here. Also Osimhen will get higher wages from PSG. The Premier League is very competitive. A move to the Premier League would not be a good decision for Osimhen if he has fitness issues.

They had a good coach then, they all had this togetherness and unity amongst them. Top player aint he? He did well to win and support the club win the Scudetto Competition.
How do you get it when they attacked him publicly for missing a penalty when they should have cheered him up, they did the reverse and also they brought in managers who weren't capable of making this side thrive again.
It has nothing to do with the players, I won't even say injuries, the management had a hand in these blunders they have taken responsibility for it and has assigned a new and tactical manager for the job now. Sad thing is that they'll see hardworking players like Victor Oshime and Khivicha Kvaratskhelia leaving since they'll not be involved in any of them European Competitions next season.

No it's not, they need him but he doesn't need them. Winning League 1 Competition season after season is not enough, yes as Nigerian I want him fit and strong for the next Fifa World Cup Competition but he'll No!
He doesn't have issues with fitness, infact, that the perfect environment for him. All he wants to do is play for either of his dream clubs ( Manchester United and Chelsea )

Gasperini has done a top work. He is going to be remembered as the person to beat Xabi Alonso after an unbeaten streak of 51 games as well.  Smiley  Now I'm curious about what Gasperini's future will be.

First he said like Napoli were interested in him and he was also leaning towards such deal. However Napoli have signed Conte instead. Now he has said that there is an offer from a Premier League team to him but he is happy with working in Italy now according to Fabrizio Romano. Juventus has also signed Motta. Bologna and maybe Milan (if they are thinking of replacing Pioli though) might make an offer too but I think Gasperini would stay as long as it isn't Milan doing it.

A small edit: I have just found out Pioli got sacked five days ago.  Grin

Osimhen's motivation seems to have diminished. He played great last year and every team was trying to get him, but this year he has had a lower form chart. The transfer fee will thus be lower. We know PSG and Chelsea want him. I believe that if he goes to one of these two teams, he will be more successful than Napoli.
Successful? Napoli are facing a whole lot of challenge this season and they're crumbling with every resources at their disposal. Victor Osimhen was the best African player but this season is different because his club have declined in performance and they've also fallen out of the race to win the Scudetto. Looking at the current position of Napoli, they ended 10th position on the table and this is really frustrating for such an elite team.
This is a nightmare for some players who achieved success last season. Napoli's journey this season has been really messy and ending up outside the European zone is truly embarrassing. I don't really understand what really happened with Napoli so that this season their performance has really dropped and they had to change coaches in the middle of the season, which has left Osimhen and his friends unable to do anything. It looks like next season will not progress much if there is no team overhaul.
Napoli performance this season was really unbelievable from them after being the diffending champion of Italian last season, although their poor performance have really affect Osimhen because by this time last season all most everybody was very happy about the good performance of Osimhen both in the newspapers and social median, but this season they couldn't even qualify for Europe league, however even in their league table they end up in 10th possion.

If Osimhen wants to play in the UCL, then he must join PSG but the competition will be quite easy for him. Without a doubt, he will always be continuously playing in the UCL as opposed to staying even longer in Napoli considering french league is fully dominated by PSG. No doubt that PSG will always able to qualify for the UCL. The competition in Serie A is even harder than before. Osimhen needs to work even harder to make sure his club to get into the UCL again next season.
Im only doubting whether conte will use him or recruit a new striker to join.

Osimhen has a lower probability of qualifying for UCL because Napoli has consistently performed poorly, he knows that if napoli may be missing UCL spot again. Even though Serie A receives five UCL slots, the reality that the competition in this league is extremely fierce remains unchanged.
Osimhen works extremely hard to improve his performance at all times. I wholeheartedly support his move to the EPL. That will be the ideal venue for him to improve his performance.
It is preferable for him to leave the Serie A and the French League since the EPL will be more difficult for him.

Osimhen's desire to play in the UEFA Champions League is understandable given the opportunity it presents for players to showcase their talent on a global stage. Joining PSG would provide him with a more direct path to consistent UCL participation, as the French league is largely dominated by PSG, ensuring they frequently qualify for the competition. However, while the competition might be perceived as easier in Ligue 1 compared to Serie A, Osimhen's ambition should extend beyond simply participating in the UCL.

He should seek challenges that push him to continually improve as a player. The decision to join PSG should not be on the ease of UCL qualification but also on other factors needed as a player. Even if Osimhen decides to remain at Napoli, the competition in Serie A is fierce, with clubs vying for the coveted UCL spots. Napoli's inconsistency in recent seasons have made securing a UCL spot more challenging, but this should serve as motivation for Osimhen to improve his game and contribute significantly to his team's success.

Transitioning to the English Premier League could provide Osimhen with an ideal environment to work on his skills and adaptiveness as a player. The EPL is renowned for its physicality, intensity, and competitiveness, which could serve as a platform for Osimhen to test himself against some of the best defenders in the world. While the challenges in the EPL persists,  they also present opportunities for growth and development, ultimately grooming Osimhen into a well-rounded and formidable striker on both domestic and European fronts.

In my opinion, Ligue 1 and the Premier League have quite striking differences. IN Ligue 1 the competition is not competitive, and if Osimhen goes to Paris Saint Germain Osimhen will be comfortable because it can be said that he already holds the Ligue 1 title because Paris Saint Germain really dominates there. Meanwhile in the English League, the league is very competitive so he must be able to play as well as possible to be able to bring his team to achieve what they hope for.

This will definitely be a dilemma for Osimhen, whether he will decide to go to a more competitive League or not. However, in my opinion, it would be better if he went to the English League, because there he will get extraordinary experience with an English League team. But of course if he can't adapt to the intense competition in the Premier League, then maybe he won't perform well. But the risk is still there if he goes to Ligue 1. So this is his decision for his future.

The bonding between Napoli's players has been poor this season. Moreover, the team's match strategy was not that good. Napoli's performance was not good due to various problems within the team. Osimhen's performance has also deteriorated due to this.

PSG need a worthy replacement for Mbappe. Mbappe had the ability to score a lot of goals. I think Osimhan also has the ability to score a lot of goals if he gets enough support from the midfielders and teammates. Osimhen can be a worthy replacement of Mbappe.

Premier League is definitely better than Ligue 1. But if the fitness is not good, it is difficult to survive in the Premier League. Also PSG coach Luis Enrique is very experienced. Perhaps we will see Osimhen's performance improve further with the help of Luis Enrique. But if Osimhen joins Manchester United or Chelsea, I doubt we will see a better performance from Osimhen. Because these two teams have a lot of internal problems.

Napoli has been facing a lot of challenges this season, they couldn’t even perform well enough to make a good position this season, Napoli was the favorite team last season but this season they struggle like a team that did not win a trophy last season, I think Napoli have made a mistake by sacking the former coach who helps them to win a trophy last season, Napoli can’t even play well to make a good position this season, Napoli can not play any league next season except Serie A league because they end up staying in 10th position this season which shows that they don’t qualify to Europa league and Europa conference league, this season is not good for Napoli and it will be good if the team should work together and check what is the solution to the team.

Napoli sold out some players to get more money so that they could build their team but I think selling some key players they sold also affected them, Napoli sold out a defensive player who made the team's defensive position strong to Bayern Munich and as some players who can help them and now they really need more players, and again selling Osimhen will help them because osimhen will bring them a lot of money that they can use to get more good talented players that can make the team play well next season.

You are very correct in the fact that the pressure osimhen may face in the french league may actually be really different a d leaser than that which he will face in the English side as in the french side, there's a legacy of dominance up on which he's just going to establish his composure and reduce pressure on him because it's actually going to look easy somehow for him as a top player in the french top team.

The above benefits in the french league comes with its own disadvantage that the English league will better position osimhen and give him better Chances to be exposed to even more opportunities. With PSG he's got to be quiet limited just like mbappe which has promoted his leave, so if the advancement of the career if of more importance to osimhen, I think the English league should be of priority to him than he would with the french side, I'm very sure even osimhen is aware of all this and knows that the french side may offer more money but he gets more opportunities around the English side.

In the Ligue 1 they don't really get much attention as the premier league does, except for some exceptional performance and players the rest don't get the kind of attention they need to make their career go beyond the level it is at currently. In the English  league, they get more attention and have even more opportunities coming in for players, PSG win the league 1 title but it wasn't even celebrated as much as the premier league was so the difference is actually very clear.
I totally agree with you. Playing for PSG in France might be easy and comfortable for Osimhen but English league is where he will face real challenge and get noticed. English league is more popular and offers more opportunities than French league. Even when PSG wins league title it's not as big deal as winning Premier League. If Osimhen wants to improve his career he should consider playing in English league. It is place where best players are made and Osimhen can grow and succeed if he takes on the challenge.
Yes, the comfortable place for Osimhen would be the league in France if he signed there. But if he is signed in EPL then it will not be comfortable for him at all, but it will be more tough and costly for him. Because here he always has to compete and face tackles which can lead to many injuries, so he has to take good steps. Although the premium league has many opportunities compared to the France league, it would be good for Osimhen if he goes to PSG. Since PSC won the title this season and became the champion, this league too I think will get a lot of opportunities. It would be great if Osimhen wants to move to the English Premier League to further his career, but he will face a tough challenge. If Osimhen wants to get anywhere in his career, he must come to the Premier League and face tough challenges before he succeeds.

Actually we have to look at it from a different perspective now, Osimhen of course has played for a Ligue 1 team before he moved to Napoli and I don't think he will need to adapt any more if he wants to return to playing in Ligue 1, for now PSG is a club that can give him everything, a big salary, a main place, luxurious facilities and also a guarantee of qualifying for the Champions League, whereas if he plays for Chelsea of course he won't necessarily be able to get all of that, the English League is indeed the most challenging league for a football player, but we also shouldn't forget the big risks that Osimhen might face if he is unable to compete in the Premier League, many players initially chose the English League as a new challenge for them, but quite a few failed to develop and ultimately failed miserably.

I think if he wants to become a star who can continue to be a mainstay and of course without fierce competition it would be better to choose to return to Ligue 1 and play for PSG, currently PSG needs a striker who is quite reliable and able to replace the role mbappe on the front lines, so Osimhen will probably be able to continue to show his abilities later and will slowly become a star player that many teams will compete for when he is able to help PSG win the UCL.

Cremonese vs Venezia in the Serie B play-off match took place today at the Giovanni Zini Stadium which is also Cremonese home ground and for the first leg the match ended in 0 - 0 draw but in their match it was clear that Venezia defense was correct really strong and not easy to penetrate.
Second leg will take place in three days and it is also home match for Venice, they have the advantage in the second leg and should be able to make good use of everything to achieve victory.
Holding 1 goal lead would be big win for Venezia if they take advantage of this home match and in that way Venezia is also guaranteed to be the third team to be promoted to Serie A next season.

For Serie A itself, there is still one match between Atalanta vs Fiorentina and in this match Atalanta is the favorite team to win.
If Atalanta wins then they will save an additional 3 points and that way Atalanta will indirectly shift the standings to 3th place and put Juventus in 4th place.

The two teams you mentioned could indeed be very suitable options for Osimhen, but from my personal view it would be better if Osimhen were sold to PSG rather than Chelsea. Because in the English League it will not be easy for players like Osimhen to compete with other players. Meanwhile, at PSG, Osimhen can play more freely because the pressure in the French League is not that great if we compare it to the pressure in the English League. So the option to PSG seems to be a little better than Chelsea, although both teams are not bad for Osimhen.

Yes, Osimhen seems to be lost this season. He is no longer sought after by big clubs. I don't appreciate his talent. Perhaps you are right when you say that a coach is someone who influences an individual and the team as a whole. I don't know what Antonio Conte will do to help Napoli club return to its peak. Can Antonio Conte do it or will owner Aurelio de Laurentiis continue to fire him?

As for Osimhen, the Napoli striker has made up his mind to leave, but the club's owners are determined to collect the largest amount of money possible if forced to sell him. This deal will probably only have a chance to progress if Conte is appointed head coach of Napoli. The Italian coach likes Lukaku and if they get Lukakku, owner Aurelio de Laurentiis will agree to sell Osimhen to PSG or Chelsea.
In terms of experience, Conte has proven his quality when he was still manager of Juventus and Inter, which means that his abilities no longer need to be doubted. However, the conditions and challenges that Conte will face with Napoli in the future will certainly be very different, even though most of Napoli lineup is still filled with players inherited from Spalletti. Conte still needs time to adapt and correct the shortcomings in the Napoli squad. We'll see if Conte appointment will materialize

If Napoli releases Osimhen in this transfer window, they can use the money to recruit new players, who have qualities close to Osimhen. The barter option with Chelsea might work if Conte wants Lukaku, of course Chelsea will have to pay an additional amount of money. Meanwhile, it looks like Roma will also try to make Lukaku permanent from Chelsea, but I think that will be difficult to make happen.

Aurelio De Laurentiis will definitely not let Osimhen go cheaply, even though Osimhen performance this season has declined slightly. PSG is reportedly also very interested in recruiting Osimhen as Mbappe replacement next season, for Chelsea or PSG Osimhen release clause is not a big problem for them. Staying at Napoli is not a good option, and I hope Osimhen joins one of the Premier League clubs.

Napoli has not been able to end the crisis. I call Napoli a team that does not know the smell of victory. Parting ways with coach Luciano Spalletti after last season's Serie A championship, Napoli is no longer himself. The presence of coach Francesco Calzona cannot help Napoli turn around the already bad situation. Coach Antonio Conte Became the fourth coach of Napoli this season, which shows the instability of the team. This is the worst season for the team and even superstar Victor Osimhen. In the transfer market, he is no longer a hot name.

Napoli sees Lukaku as the ideal replacement for Victor Osimhen. Osimhen will almost certainly leave. Both sides' contract has a release clause worth 120 million Euros in the summer of 2024. Chelsea also really wants to recruit the 26-year-old striker. Chelsea's financial conditions help them easily do that. Napoli should determine their inability to retain Osimhen and find a replacement. And Lukaku is not a bad choice for Napoli.
Indeed, the impact of Spalletti leaving Napoli this season really made last season's Serie A champions really lose their ability. actually this is very bad. Rudi Garcia and Walter Mazzarri failed to bring Napoli even into the UCL qualifications. NThey all failed. Even when one of the football stars, Osimhen, was still at Napoli, they were not able to optimize his abilities like when Spalletti used to. So this really makes Napoli even worse.

And now, Napoli have agreed to make Conte the Napoli coach, especially in preparation for next season which will of course be even more competitive. And, Conte at Napoli is the coach with the highest salary currently in Serie A. Is it worth it for Napoli to spend that much money on Conte to improve Napoli? It should be possible, because with such a high salary it certainly requires Conte to be able to bring Napoli to an even higher championship. But the problem is, can Conte really be able to? With Napoli's condition like this?

I don't quite understand why Napoli would want to Conte even with such a high salary. However, there are still further discussions regarding the amount that will be agreed again. However, even with a lower salary, it is still relatively high in Serie A and Napoli seems to be very confident in their choice of coach at the moment. Will it be the right decision or will it be like before?
