The most pronounced reason was at the time of the change of coach Luciano Spalleti, making Napoli's performance decreases and difficult to compete with other teams. I did not follow this and maybe the racism that occurred against him was also a reason. Victor Osimhen became a player who was so important under the care of Luciano Spalleti and he became one of the players who contributed when he won the Serie A.

Rumors circulating he had intended to go in the previous season but the management did not release it. Although many offered a contract for him as a player who had the capacity to score goals. This season there are several teams that chase his signature but there is no certainty about his future.

Admittedly, NApoli's performance declined with the change of coach Luciano Spalletti, and racist treatment of black players changed everything.
Apart from the racist treatment towards Victor Osimhen, the club owner's desire to move to a club that was not granted could cause Victor Osimhen's performance to decline.
So Victor Osimhen should go find a club that can treat him better, because if he stays at Napoli he will most likely always be treated badly.
and rumors are that PSG and Chelsea are the frontrunners to get Victor Osimhen

It seems like the opposite is happening, because as far as I know it wasn't Napoli that kept Osimhan from staying in Napoli, but because Osimhen himself decided or chose to stay in Napoli. So yes, because of the change of coach, of course performance will decline and of course, with the bad results obtained by Napoli, fans will also express their disappointment and even commit racism to the Napoli players. So, I think the decline in Osimhen performance did not occur because of racism, but the decline in performance was purely due to an inappropriate coach. After all, I have also said in the past that Osimhen deserves to play for other big teams out there, but Osimhen chose to stay at Napoli and clearly, that was the wrong choice.

I don't know what Calzona's problem is, in several important matches Napoli didn't make Osimhen a starter, this clearly shows that Calzona didn't make Osimhen an important pillar of Napoli, actually there is no other reason for Osimhen to stay at Napoli if he is treated like However, Osimhen is a good striker but his abilities are being suppressed by the coach himself, Osimhen should prefer another club rather than stay at Napoli.

Osimhen's motivation seems to have diminished. He played great last year and every team was trying to get him, but this year he has had a lower form chart. The transfer fee will thus be lower. We know PSG and Chelsea want him. I believe that if he goes to one of these two teams, he will be more successful than Napoli.
Osimhen’s performance this season is related to the management issues, the Napoli team suffered a general performance degradation due to poor management, they sack the coach that started the season with them and signed another one, yet they couldn’t make it to the Champions League which is not good for them as the defending champions.

If his transfer fee reduced, the team should bear it because if they have let him go since last season, they could have earn enough money, but his hype is down even though his quality is still there.
I am expecting him to leave for Chelsea or PSG for him to keep his career safe.

eah.  Osimhen is a good and talented player, but due to how the management treats him, it seems that they don’t appreciate his hard work, because that is how I view it. Because I wonder how a team will get a player like Osimhen while still treating him this way. If they want him to leave for another club, I think that will be better, but they are not ready for that; they are still keeping him, and the player is not even shining like before; he's just there as if he’s not. I hope Napoli will realise how good Osimhen is, or they should just let him go. And I will prefer he go to Chelsea than PSG.

Yes, I fully agree with you that Osimhen is a talented player, but I don't think management treated him unfairly. The truth is that Napoli was not in good form this season, and that is why we did not see Osimhen work much. As it always works, when a team is not in good form, As it always works, when a team is not in good form, it will seriously affect players performance, no matter how good the players may be, so I don't think that Napoli management mistreated Osimhen. If it is about discipline, the coach needs to discipline this player if he commits an offence, so to avoid unnecessary actions from repeating themselves. If Osimhen wants to leave Napoli, I will prefer him to join PSG over Chelsea because, currently, we don't know where their performances are ending.

You are very correct in the fact that the pressure osimhen may face in the french league may actually be really different a d leaser than that which he will face in the English side as in the french side, there's a legacy of dominance up on which he's just going to establish his composure and reduce pressure on him because it's actually going to look easy somehow for him as a top player in the french top team.

The above benefits in the french league comes with its own disadvantage that the English league will better position osimhen and give him better Chances to be exposed to even more opportunities. With PSG he's got to be quiet limited just like mbappe which has promoted his leave, so if the advancement of the career if of more importance to osimhen, I think the English league should be of priority to him than he would with the french side, I'm very sure even osimhen is aware of all this and knows that the french side may offer more money but he gets more opportunities around the English side.

In the Ligue 1 they don't really get much attention as the premier league does, except for some exceptional performance and players the rest don't get the kind of attention they need to make their career go beyond the level it is at currently. In the English  league, they get more attention and have even more opportunities coming in for players, PSG win the league 1 title but it wasn't even celebrated as much as the premier league was so the difference is actually very clear.
I totally agree with you. Playing for PSG in France might be easy and comfortable for Osimhen but English league is where he will face real challenge and get noticed. English league is more popular and offers more opportunities than French league. Even when PSG wins league title it's not as big deal as winning Premier League. If Osimhen wants to improve his career he should consider playing in English league. It is place where best players are made and Osimhen can grow and succeed if he takes on the challenge.

Osimhen performed well in the 2022–23 season. He was able to score 26 goals and 4 assists in 32 appearances in Serie A. But the Napoli team did not get the expected performance from Osimhen in the last season. Firstly Napoli's overall gameplay was slow and weak. Napoli have not played well this season due to poor match tactics and poor bonding between players. Also Osimhen suffered an injury early in the season. Osimhen's performances have been erratic since his return from injury.

I think the PSG squad is perfect for Osimhen. Ligue 1 is slightly less competitive. Chances of injury are very low here. Also Osimhen will get higher wages from PSG. The Premier League is very competitive. A move to the Premier League would not be a good decision for Osimhen if he has fitness issues.
I don't think there is a team more suitable for Osimhen than PSG. Maybe he could choose a team in La Liga, like Atletico Madrid, maybe Barcelona, but I don't think Barcelona needs it. EPL could put Osimhen in the background, so it might be a bad choice for his career.

This year, Napoli's overall bad performance Osimhen's also bad performance, but overall Napoli had a slow and unstable game. As you said, there was an injury situation.

Not only that, but the overall performance of the Napoli team is quite poor this season, making it difficult for Osimhen to develop.

to PSG or Chelsea, it's the same as long as Osimhen is able to get the main place and the team's performance is good so that he can provide support for Osimhen on the front lines, then I think Osimhen will be able to show his best performance again.

In League One or the Premier League it's not much different, in fact I think that in the Premier League Osimhen's career will improve even more if he performs well.

The bonding between Napoli's players has been poor this season. Moreover, the team's match strategy was not that good. Napoli's performance was not good due to various problems within the team. Osimhen's performance has also deteriorated due to this.

PSG need a worthy replacement for Mbappe. Mbappe had the ability to score a lot of goals. I think Osimhan also has the ability to score a lot of goals if he gets enough support from the midfielders and teammates. Osimhen can be a worthy replacement of Mbappe.

Premier League is definitely better than Ligue 1. But if the fitness is not good, it is difficult to survive in the Premier League. Also PSG coach Luis Enrique is very experienced. Perhaps we will see Osimhen's performance improve further with the help of Luis Enrique. But if Osimhen joins Manchester United or Chelsea, I doubt we will see a better performance from Osimhen. Because these two teams have a lot of internal problems.

There is a reason I always believe that a player should move to a bigger club if he has the chance. Because he might not have the chance later. And even if he does have the chance, there is a possibility that he is not going to be as important as he could have been. Osimhen should have gone to a bigger club in the last season.

English Premier League might not be the best decision for him. Because we all know that in the English Premier League, you have to have a great physicality. I am not saying that he does not have a great physicality. But we have seen recently that players who have moved from the Italian League to the English Premier League have not done very well. The best example that comes to mind is Lukaku.

You are all right in your analysis but the poor performance of Napoli is caused by all the players because when Osimhen was on injury the squad didn't coordinate very well and even when he returned they didn't put in more pressure as before and one thing I see about Victor Osimhen is that his mind is no longer with Napoli since after the mockery they made against the Nigerian skipper so his inability to perform same way he did in 2022/2023 season was just a complete 'out of mind'.
PSG is a nice club with great talents and since Mbappe will be leaving the club that means the need to sign Victor Osimhen should be considered even though he may not match up Mbappe's level but he will make good impact at PSG. The premiership is very competitive now p if he decides to move to any team in England he may not be visible so PSG is the right option for Victor.

Spalletti managed to make Napoli able to win the Scudetto last season after almost 33 years of their title fast, Spalletti struggle to end Napoli title fast was not an easy thing but with every process that exists of course he has proven that Spalletti is a reliable coach, but unfortunately the bad relationship with the owner of Napoli actually made Spalletti decide to leave and choose to coach the current Italian national team,  After Spalletti left, Napoli experienced a drastic decline in performance and even three changes of coach in one season were not able to make Napoli better.

Osimhen performance under Spalletti's care was obviously very good so indeed at that time many teams were interested in signing him, but at that time Osimhen chose to extend his contract with Napoli but instead he experienced a decline in performance even after 3 changes of coach, after extending the contract with Napoli, Napoli actually included a very large release clause in his current contract,  So it is possible that many teams are thinking again about signing him, among several teams that want to sign Osimhen, of course PSG is one of them, but unfortunately so far it seems that PSG are also starting to get out of the competition to get Osimhen.

After finding out about Milan's sacking Pioli recently I'm curious about who they will bring for the job. I couldn't find any news related to a candidate yet. Does anyone suitable comes to your mind?  Huh

I only remember Pochettino who is available after getting sacked by Chelsea recently. He hasn't managed an Italian team in his career yet but there is always an opportunity to try a new adventure.  Smiley  If Mourinho didn't sign a deal with Fenerbahçe then maybe there might have been a chance for him to return to Italy. But Milan seems like they have a strict policy with bringing an Italian manager. Most of their managers so far have been like that so let's see who it will be this time.

Napoli have declined from top form this season, why? Since the absence of Luciano Spalleti, they're left with nothing but grief because the coaches coming in are incapable and this spell out doom for the club. Napoli top striker, Victor Osimhen always complain about the high rate of online abuse and racism in Seria A and this have made most of the dark-skinned player to decline in their performance. I would advised the Nigeria international to make exits from the club because there's more to accomplish outside Italy football.

Finally, Juventus won a game in Serie A after so long without a win or a loss. They won a game against a team that has not won a game for so long, Juventus vs Monza is quite a match. This meaningless game look so boring to watch, as both team have no desire to win the game which has nothing to gain. Both team have secured their respective target which makes any result has no importance to their ending season campaign.

Juventus is currently standing at third position, and it can change if Atalanta win their last game. It feels embarrassing for Juventus to finish fourth in the end of the season after being in title race with Inter throughout the season. They seemed to give up too early like a team has no spirit to involve in a competition with high prestige and expectation.
Juventus Football team played very excellent and won the match by 2 goals but in the comparison, Monza could no do any single goal.Chiesa and A. Sandro were prominent players in this match . They played very well and they are the reason of the win of their team . But Monza players disappointed their fans and that was worst performance from Monza side. They should improve, otherwise there will be many hurdles for them. The shorts of both players were the same but Juventus won the match at the end . I appreciate that team because whole team played with energy and they didn't give any extra chance to the opposite team to do goal . The passes of Monza were 507 but Juventus passes were 377.

I was reading the latest news on Atalanta and Gasperini, he says that they are now aiming to finish 3rd and take the place of those who are now having problems, he also said: It means that we were the best, not the strongest" so now second knowing the coach, even though he's very good, I think he's getting a little carried away, it was understandable now we just have to see if what he says is right and he will really do what he says
Just like people have been discussed at here that we all know Atalanta still have 1 postponed match against Fiorentina this Sunday and if they can able to beat Fiorentina then Atalanta will have 72 points maximum which mean they can overtake Juventus position and finish at 3rd place and after winning the Europa League trophy by beating Leverkusen in the final match Atalanta condition is in the good shape so i am sure they will targetting the winning result from this match

Atalanta have through an fantastic season this year with Gasperini even i have to says this is their best season during participant in Serie A because Atalanta can advances to the final matches from 2 different competitions Europa League and Coppa Italy and although on Coppa Italy Atalanta have lost from Juventus but Atalanta can able to bounce back and overcomes Leverkusen in Europa League and win with huge scores so i have to says they are very fantastic this season and it could be good if they can ended this season with gets the winning result from Fiorentina

About their opponent Fiorentina i think they are unlucky because they can able to advances to the final matches of Europa Conference League two times in a row but unfortunately they were failed to gets the trophies and the latest is Fiorentina lost from Olympiakos and about their last match later considering Atalanta condition which much better than Fiorentina i think Atalanta can be the winner of this match and i haven't checked the odds yet but i assume the bookmakers will provide high odds for Atalanta

eh I would like to break a lance in favor of Victor, in the end he remained the same the team changed and if you dont pass him the ball or dont support him, how can you score a goal? It becomes impossible
He is a born talent, now he is hungry for titles rightly so he must necessarily leave if he wants to find some

Talking about finishing in 3rd place might be the goal before Gasperini aims to leave Atalanta.
After reading the reply from Velvet78 it seems that Gasperini has the desire to look for a new challenge with another club but I don't know if that is just a rumor or a reality but for me it could happen because previously it was rumored that Gasperini wanted to try to join Napoli but as said Velvet78 Napoli has found Conte to become Napoli coach.

Whatever Gasperini will do is still the best thing for Atalanta and from some of this news I have some assumptions that it is very likely that in the upcoming match Atalanta will beat Fiorentina because as you said finishing in 3rd place will be a success for Gasperini can improve the experience.
Gasperini has completed her task with Atalanta very well, she managed to give an European trophy and bring the team to qualify for the Champions League next season. I think the two success that achieved was enough for Atalanta management to always be able to maintain it. Although there are rumors that state that Gasperini will leave I think it is only a cradle. Gasperini will definitely enjoy a beautiful moment with La Dea in the Champions League next season.
It cannot be denied that Gasperini is a coach who has shown his best strategy and abilities as a coach to be able to win the European title. That's right, this success is certainly a strong reason for management to continue to keep him with Atalanta next season. Regarding these rumors, all of them are not true, because I am sure that Gasperini will stay with Atalanta to prove more results than what he got this season with Atalanta.

Osimhen performed well in the 2022–23 season. He was able to score 26 goals and 4 assists in 32 appearances in Serie A. The Premier League is very competitive. A move to the Premier League would not be a good decision for Osimhen if he has fitness issues.

It is surprising to see that the defending champions of last season was unable to defend the title, and showed less concern on the league due to a lot of challenges that they faced. A tree cannot make a forest, if the team is weak, every player is weak automatically and that was why we did not see much from Osimhen this season, because he didn't get the full support to bring out his scoring skills.

Personally, I will prefer Osimhen to go to Ligue 1,because he will have a brighter future compare to Chelsea. PSG is known to be the best in France and they have the kind of players that will make Osimhen to become a nonstop goal machine, because he has the skills, capacity and strength to make that happen.

Chelsea will be a nightmare for him because they are average players apart from few of them and they will dull his morale just like Napoli did this season. Imagine a player like Foden is in Chelsea helping them out but if he is in a better club he will win trophies.

Cremonese vs Venezia in the Serie B play-off match took place today at the Giovanni Zini Stadium which is also Cremonese home ground and for the first leg the match ended in 0 - 0 draw but in their match it was clear that Venezia defense was correct really strong and not easy to penetrate.
Second leg will take place in three days and it is also home match for Venice, they have the advantage in the second leg and should be able to make good use of everything to achieve victory.
Holding 1 goal lead would be big win for Venezia if they take advantage of this home match and in that way Venezia is also guaranteed to be the third team to be promoted to Serie A next season.

For Serie A itself, there is still one match between Atalanta vs Fiorentina and in this match Atalanta is the favorite team to win.
If Atalanta wins then they will save an additional 3 points and that way Atalanta will indirectly shift the standings to 3th place and put Juventus in 4th place.

It will be interesting to understand which of the two will be able to enter the top division
if I am not mistaken, Venezia has probably already been in Serie A, but I might have some memory problems
I absolutely don`t remember Cremonese.
It will be a very hard-fought match since the winner goes to Serie A

Gasperini has done a top work. He is going to be remembered as the person to beat Xabi Alonso after an unbeaten streak of 51 games as well.  Smiley  Now I'm curious about what Gasperini's future will be.

First he said like Napoli were interested in him and he was also leaning towards such deal. However Napoli have signed Conte instead. Now he has said that there is an offer from a Premier League team to him but he is happy with working in Italy now according to Fabrizio Romano. Juventus has also signed Motta. Bologna and maybe Milan (if they are thinking of replacing Pioli though) might make an offer too but I think Gasperini would stay as long as it isn't Milan doing it.
Even though Gasperini couldn't bring Atalanta to compete in the race for the Italian league title this season, at least they could become champions in other competitions outside of Italy, namely the UEL, they also failed in the Coppa Italia because they had to be defeated by Juventus, Gasperini should stay at Atalanta because of course his job is to make Atalanta is even better because Atalanta will play at a higher level, namely the UCL, where the competition is also quite tight compared to the previous UEL this season.

Gasperini has also succeeded in bringing Atalanta to an important level in the domestic league so it's not too bad to keep him at Atalanta, after all the English league is probably full of very tight competition, it would be good if his decision to stay in the Italian league is because he should continue his duties and at the same time show that Atalanta can compete in the UCL next season as well as in the domestic league later, I think his success will definitely be remembered by all Atalanta fans because Gasperini managed to beat Xabi Alonso's men in the UEL final yesterday, but it looks like it will also be interesting if Atalanta meets Leverkusen again in the UCL season front.  Grin

Gasperini's achievements with Atalanta this season are indeed a historic moment. This is because for the first time Atalanta was able to win the Europa League, and succeeded in becoming a truly respected team in Serie A. Therefore, I am sure it will be very difficult for Gasperini to leave Atalanta in the next few seasons. Moreover, next season Atalanta will definitely compete in the Champions League and compete in the European Super Cup. So with this match on the agenda, Gasperini will certainly continue to coach Atalanta, at least for next season. The reason is that in his interviews in several news media, he stated that he would remain loyal to Atalanta. So this statement will definitely deny rumors of his move to Napoli or to a Premier League club.

Apart from that, I personally also speculate that even if Milan made an offer to Gasperini, I am sure he would not agree to the offer. The reason is that Gasperini will definitely not leave the team he has coached so far which is almost a perfect team. So most likely, for the next season Gasperini will definitely stay with Atalanta.

Apart from that, in the European Super Cup, Gasperini really hopes that his team will meet Real Madrid. Because Gasperini said that if his team competed with Real Madrid in the European Super Cup, the match would definitely be very prestigious.

Quote
"I hope Real Madrid is in the European Super Cup," Gasperini told ANSA.

"It's not that we don't want to play against Borussia Dortmund, who we also faced a few years ago in the Europa League, but the European Super Cup final against Real Madrid will be the most prestigious match, he explained.

I think this expression reflects that Gasperini has very high determination and goals with Atalanta. So I am 100% sure that Gasperini will definitely stay at Atalanta.

In my opinion, Ligue 1 and the Premier League have quite striking differences. IN Ligue 1 the competition is not competitive, and if Osimhen goes to Paris Saint Germain Osimhen will be comfortable because it can be said that he already holds the Ligue 1 title because Paris Saint Germain really dominates there. Meanwhile in the English League, the league is very competitive so he must be able to play as well as possible to be able to bring his team to achieve what they hope for.

This will definitely be a dilemma for Osimhen, whether he will decide to go to a more competitive League or not. However, in my opinion, it would be better if he went to the English League, because there he will get extraordinary experience with an English League team. But of course if he can't adapt to the intense competition in the Premier League, then maybe he won't perform well. But the risk is still there if he goes to Ligue 1. So this is his decision for his future.
That's true, but everything has positive and negative sides. If Osimhen goes to PSG then it's very likely he will get a league 1 title but he won't be as developed and highlighted as if he joined a club in the Premier League, so I think wherever Osimhen goes if he able to continue to show his best performance, his career will continue to improve.

It will be a difficult decision for Osimhen but he has to decide for the sake of his future career and for now I think PSG is the team that wants Osimhen the most and in the PSG team there is an empty position that Osimhen can fill.
I didn't see Osimhen so special and he was just an ordinary striker. Last season was the right time when he was in a condition on fire and his timing was right when he managed to get a scudetto so as to make his market value soar. Now we can see which team is very keen and want to pay for it at a high price? I think it's faded and not like last season again. Yes, the typical Osimhen is more suitable to play at PSG because there is no hard competition there and most likely he will shine again and get the title.
