The fierce battle between Juventus and Bologna is still fierce to this day and they will meet next week and prove who deserves to be in third place, Atalanta seems to be quietly chasing these two clubs who are currently in 5th place with a narrow difference in points and Atalanta did well by winning yesterday's match against Lecce. The competition for 3rd place turned out to be quite interesting to watch in Serie A while there are still 2 more matches before the season ends.

There is nothing special for Inter Milan in this match, because they are no longer under pressure, whatever they will get is the result they will probably receive. Meanwhile for Lazio, this is a match that is still very important, because they still have to fight hard to get a better place at the end of the standings. It is indeed very unfortunate for Sassuolo,playing athome and still losing against Cagliari, which in reality Cagliari is also a team in the bottom zone of the standings. With results like this then ofcourse, Cagliari hassucceeded in making a point gap that is at least better to stay away from the relegation zone. Head-to-head stats indicated Atalanta expected a win over Lecce. Though it wasn't an impressive performance, goals from Charles De Ketelaere and Gianluca Scamacca were enough to give Atalanta a victory away to Lecce. Following this win, Atalanta confirms Champions League football next season after a three-year of absence. They will be on the big stage next season, so hopefully, they will make some changes which actually required to get positive results.

They should not only sign new and good players, they should keep good players like Scamacca this year. At the end of the year, Atalanta lost the Italian Cup final, but they still have a chance of winning the UEL cup. By defeating Liverpool, Atalanta will perhaps give Leverkusen their first defeat of the year. Bayer Leverkusen had a great season this year. In one word, they left behind a dream year. Atalanta can end this dream. Maybe they will only get one defeat and it will be this final, who knows?
