Previously, Milan was team that could match Juventus and Inter this season, but in the current conditions it seems that hope has disappeared because the gap between Milan and the top two teams is very large.
No team can stop Inter and Juventus this season unless they suffer consecutive defeats, in the future, there may be chance for another team to rise, but this is unlikely to happen.
The fight for first place and the title will continue between Inter as the top of the standings and Juventus as the team in 2nd place and of course those who are only two points apart will try hard to win the title this season.
Serie A will only enter its 16th week and soon the transfer window will also open so that several teams will have the opportunity to get several players to improve their squad and be able to get better place.

So, from the 7 point difference, if Milan wants to be able to compete and become one of the candidates in the race for the title, then needs at least 3 wins with 2 losses Juventus in the next match.

The Italian champions hasn't been consistent in the Italian Serie A since the start of the season and are currently not in the top four of the Italian Serie A standings but the convincing win against Braga last night I think will go a long way in boosting the morale and confidence of the team as they continue to go fight to finish the season in a good position.
Victor Osimhen who was crowned the CAF African Best Player of the year on Monday night once again proved his worth by scoring a goal in the match. Hopefully he's gonna score many more goals for Napoli before the end of the season.

Milan are the only team that have a chance to keep up with Inter and Juventus in the standings. However they pulled away from Milan even more by the results of the previous week.    Atalanta made really serious difficulties for Milan. They got ahead 2 times and it was obvious they weren't going to let Milan go away with a win there. That winning goal in the last minutes devastated Milan.

Now even Juventus are 7 points ahead of Milan. This is a serious gap thinking that we haven't even completed the first half of the season. It looks like this will be more like a title competition between two teams - Inter and Juventus. It is early to say so maybe but I don't think both of them will start performing badly for a long time.

Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis can only try his best but he doesn't suit in the required position to upgrade his club, he has appointed and sack managers in past months, he's yet to confined in any of these managers. However the present one, Walter Mazzarri seems promising and he's been given a chance to prove himself. Luciano Spalleti is the cause of the inconsistent and dissapointing results encounter by Napoli this season, we have different teams that don't always make it to significant positions every season, they just fight to maintain significant spots on the table, I would rather call it survival.

Napoli's level and expectations of them have risen after last season's Scudetto and if they don't live up to last season's performance, they will easily sack the coach. The risk of a coach is like that, especially when the team he handles is the defending champion team, so the challenge will be even harder.
Spalletti had previously made a very impressive showing at Napoli, but he wasn't willing to stay. I'm not sure why, but from what I've heard it had to do with his poor relationship with the club owner, there's also mention that he wanted his salary increased. Regardless, if he stays and doesn't deliver like last season, then his position will also be threatened and not really safe.

Victor osimhen is a key player in Napoli and his presence no doubts have been of great benefits to the team and any time he is absent it turns out obvious as the performance of the team drops and I have come across speculations in recent times that he may be leaving the team soon and it borders me that the team will be affected for a while but then it's for his good tho.

Qualifying for the round of 16 is a good boost for Napoli because their victory over Braga shows that they are definitely getting improvement and ready to face the serie A in a very good form, as the UCL appears more competitive than the serie A, it's looking like the team I quickly adopting to the tactics and patterns of their new coach, earlier their performance was looking like they were yet to get used to their new coach and their performance was been affected by that but now their performance yesterday, if further improved with consistency, they could be sure to defend their title in the serie A but then I don't think they will have a chance at the UCL, if they are able to get pass the round of 16, it could be considered a fair achievement this season for them.

Theorically, yes but we can't really know what's going to happen soon. Cagliari can also comeback stronger than before. I don't underestimate cagliari but i just say based on the fact. Napoli is far superior compared with cagliari at this moment.
Im not really sure with the current performance of napoli right now. Cagliari is far worst compared with another team like fiorentina. Napoli still needs to be careful against it.
Who knows that if cagliari will able to steal some points from the club. Napoli will be winning with narrow score and i don't think napoli is going to get cleansheet soon.

Based on what Napoli showcased in the champion league competition to defeated  SC Braga 2-0 show that they are about to recover from their losses they experienced from some matches, and there is a hope for Napoli to defeat their opponent in their next match to set to take back the first position in the Italian league table before the end of the tournament. If you look at Cagliari performance in this season, you will believe that Napoli will use them to improve their points in this match, because they don't have potential squads that can stop Napoli not to achieve victory from this match, and Victor Osimhen and other strikers will use their opportunity well to help the team to score goals that will give their fans joy.

Have you seen that they've lost the last two game's they've played in the Seria A? This could be another if they don't try to make sure that they win the game. They have a better squad who haven't been consistent with how they play. It was a good thing to see them qualifying for the knockouts but finishing second means they'll meet up stronger and difficult challenges during the round of sixteen.
Napil anyways would not want to lose this game for it would be shameful to see them lose Empoli, Inter Milan and now a Cagliari side who got to win sts the last minutes of the game they played. And why do I feel like Juventus will drop points against Genoa tommorow??

Napoli will have to reset their targets in this season as they can continue in Champions League and will not give up early. If they have chance, they will try to go as farthest as possible like the last season. In Serie A, they have a different situation as they no longer have chance to defend Scudetto and currently falls beyond top four. In this season they have more challenges from clubs like AS Roma, Lazio, Atalanta for top four position and I also see Bologna and Fiorentina are trying to make surprise.

This is their general performances in this season that is worse than the last season. It is understandable when Napoli lost to big clubs in Serie A but they even had poor performances with small clubs. This will be their big issue to compete for top four in Serie A as they will need to have as many points as possible from small clubs. Empoli is one of opponents can give Napoli chance to have three points but let's see how they bring good form from Champions League back to Serie A.

In the match against Cagliari later, if Mazzari can see opportunities well then his squad will have the chance to score more than two goals, also Osimhen, who has not scored a goal in several matches with Napoli in Serie A matches, will have the opportunity to score a goal after successfully scoring a goal for Napoli in the Champions League last night, however this season they have a bad history when they lost to Empoli by a narrow score and it even happened at their own home which made the management decide to change coaches, but I suspect that will not affect them especially since they are already with a new coach.

It is a difficult task for Mazzari because this coach came when Napoli's condition was not good and Mazzari had to be forced to move quickly to stabilize Napoli's performance and it was not easy but in his first debut Napoli was able to beat Atalanta and after that Napoli had to face Juventus. and Inter Milan and Napoli not being able to win.
In my opinion, it's natural because Mazzari has just arrived and Napoli is directly facing a big club which definitely requires the coach to adapt first, but after this defeat it can be used as a lesson for Mazzari to implement a more mature strategy.
in the Champions League match, Napoli was able to beat Braga yesterday and will qualify for the next round with Real Madrid. After that, I believe Napoli can win in the Italian league when they face Cagliari.

Napoli cannot afford to lose point in this game,there are some games they will play and it will be obvious whether they will lose the game or not, its not this type of game,Napoli will win with great margin.They are beginning to show that they are a big team,and that is the reason they never wanted to sign some of their star players like Osimhen,the Nigerian wonderkid who is sought after by many European teams.He might decide to stay if Napoli show him love instead of hate, with the way Napoli's fans were going,it just look like the player have already set his mind on leaving the team,and he might either end up in England where he will have to compete with Haaland for the golden boot.

Napoli should comfortably win the game against Cagliari because in terms of quality, the two clubs are not in the same class. Napoli has more quality players that can cheaply win the game. But we still can't certainly predict the outcome of the game because Napoli's performance has declined this season. Walter Mazzarri is trying to get the club in order after the seed of disunity was shown by Rudi Garcia. The French coach was tactically backward which led to many unpopular tactical decisions that most key players didn't like. Honestly, the next match for Napoli should not be a big problem for them to get 3 points out of even though they are not in the best of form right now. But don't get me wrong, they might actually get one point from this match. That is not impossible in my opinion. If anything, looking at the current form of Napoli, I will say that it is actually very much doable.

Massimiliano Allegri doesn't rely on anyone to earn massively fein the market, rather he worked on himself on becoming one of the very best coach to ever manage Tottenham Hotspur. It's too easy and easy for any club to sack their coach this summer, remember there's just a coach that have upgrades their match level and winning now becomes the very of everyone. Cagliari beat Sassuolo 2-1 in the last match. It was dramatic when they scored both goals in extra time. It must have been really sad for them to concede 2 goals in extra time and lose the match. They will play desperately against Napoli this week, but you never know. No team in Serie A should be underestimated.

Quite often this season the strong team is the favorite but apparently cannot beat the weak team. And you can only get a draw or even lose. So a strong team cannot underestimate a weak team. But strong teams still have to play optimally and with the full strength they have. So you can win the match very convincingly. But so far Napoli rarely underestimate the opponents they face.
