Milan had a really poor performance in their last game but then they are definitely not going to continue with such performance because they are aware of what lays ahead of them both in the UCL and in the Italian serie A so they only had a flop in that game which is usually for every team to at a point flop in a game or two in the season.

I loved the fact that even with the poor performance against fiorentina which happens to be inter milans last game they were able to still secure a victory and that's the best way to stay ahead that even in your bad days you only have lesser number of goals but still making sure to stay ahead regardless of what happens and your form at that point. Securing three points at the end of the game was all that matters and they were able to get that done and they are now at the top of the table with a point ahead of Juventus which I must say is an interesting race.

Inter won narrowly over Fiorentina and Napoli played out a goalless draw against Lazio. For Napoli, I don't know how long they will continue like this because the competition is getting tougher and at the end of the season it will be increasingly difficult for them to reach the top 4 again. Even playing as hosts for Napoli now cannot guarantee victory and they continue to record less than optimal results. Just look at the last 5 matches they were only able to win once and the rest were draws and losses.

Meanwhile, Inter continues to advance to the top of the standings and currently they have a one point advantage over Juventus. Moreover, Inter has the advantage of playing one match less and that could be good capital to continue to stay away from being chased by Juventus. Inter's performance is much better than last season and they will undoubtedly be closer to the Scudetto if they are able to maintain their winning results in each match.

Sure Milan play better than many other clubs in Italy, but their last game was bad... I think that if they keep playing like that, they will have no chance to catch up with Juventus... I think win for Inter Milan would be worthy enough to be prediction and if Juventus can play well then draw also seems possible.

Now the difference in points between the two is only 1 point, Inter who still have one match remaining or postponed, could have point advantage with greater difference if their meeting can be won by Inter Milan.

The chance owned by intermilan is far bigger to win when it will be playing away against juventus. Being able to get three points from juventus will be also extending the gap between intermilan and juventus. I would like to see that juventus to take the scudetto this season but intermilan seems to become the main problem owned by juventus to make it happen. The competition is very strict caused by juventus was equal compared to the intermilan at this time. I think that juventus has chance till the end of season to finish at the first place.

Allegri must be urging his club to perform better at the end of season. it will become the main causes for the juventus to win the trophy. Consistency is a key to go to the scudetto. If juventus lost it then it will be a disaster for the club.
Juventus needs to perform better than before. The last match against empoli should give very important lesson to the club.

I think maybe you mean the fight for 4th place because Atalanta, Lazio, Fiorentina and even Bologna, As Roma and Napoli still have a small difference so they can fight for 4th place, but getting 3rd place is very far away, let alone catching up. Inter Milan and Juventus are at the top of the standings, AC Milan has really maintained their consistency so far as well as Juventus and Intermilan are unbeaten in their last five matches, that is a good job for a very consistent club.

So far there are almost 6 clubs that are likely to be in 4th position at the end of the season, if Atalanta cannot be consistent then they will be easily replaced by the clubs below them, therefore the competition this season is also very tight besides the title competition at the top of the standings is also very tight in the fight for place in 4th position, talking about champions this season, it seems that the meeting between Inter Milan and Juventus in February will determine who deserves to be champion and fight for the Italian Serie A title this season.

Inter Milan vs Juventus, the meeting of the two will be highly anticipated considering their position in the current standings together and are currently in the competition for the Serie A title this season. Inter is back on top of the table right now by winning the last match that they have played. It is going to be hard for Juventus to actually keep a good competition with them because right now they have played one much more than inter.

Inter is looking really good to actually win the title if they are consistent enough in this season. Right now Juventus is giving good competition. But I think it's a matter of time before Juventus actually becomes inconsistent again.

About the match between Inter and Juventus, I think Inter should win. I am saying that just because they have scored so many goals in this season.

In as much as As Roma performance has not been very good but there is no way we can compare them with Salernitana because is very obvious this season that Salernitana is not on there good form and the fact remains that they are the worst club in times of performance on this league that's why there bad performance has land them to the bottom of the league table and there is no how they will play to be save from going to relegation this season because there performance is nothing to write home about, perhaps they should use this season to no the areas they need to work on so that there would be some improvements on the team next season.

I don't think Salernitana will give As Roma much of a hard time on this match because Roma is far better than them in every way we evaluate it because we cannot compare a club that's on the bottom of the league table to the club that has made a quite performance by securing the 8 position of the league table, however they will be even lucky if Roma will only score them 2 goals if not I'm suspecting Roma to secure more than 5 goals against Salernitana.

Fiorentina will have themselves to blame for losing an clear opportunity to at least get a draw. Inter Milan was not at its best and the home team mounted pressure on the visitor's defense but underutilized most of the chances created. I have never seen such a lousy penalty Gonzalez who just freely gave Inter goalkeeper Sommer the weak shot. Juventus have lost the top spot and Inter will have to work hard to maintain this lead but they still have the advantage, having played fewer games than Juventus. Martinez has been outstanding this season, he now has 22 goals in all competitions. Fiorentina sits in the fifth position the same point as Lazio and one point above Bologna.

You are right, these intrigues and suspense is what make the league interesting. This is why the French League is not as exciting as the Italian League because you could predict this season's winner of the Ligue One but you can't do the same for the Series A.

I think it's too early to write off Milan, yes they have only 46 points, but the difference of 7 points with Juventus and 8 with Inter is not such a big difference and there are still enough games ahead to make up the difference.

Atalanta, Fiorentina and Lazio are likely to fight for 3rd place at best, because their 17 points gap is already quite large and here the gap is more serious than Milan's 7 points.

Juventus are wasting opportunities but the season is long enough for them to fix mistakes and continue to race against Inter Milan. They still have a direct match against Inter Milan but they must improve themselves and return to good form.

Else they will fall farther behind Inter Milan and advantage from fixtures will not be able to help Juventus to equalize big gap between to competitors for Scudetto. Juventus must feel fearful with very stable and good form of Inter Milan in this season. The competitor have been playing like it is a season reserved for Inter Milan to win Scudetto.

There are still many games left in the season. So there is still hope for Milan. But Juventus and Inter Milan cannot be denied that they are the closest to winning the title. Problems for Inter Milan may arise when the UCL starts. At that time, Inter Milan had to really keep the main Inter Milan squad in shape while maintaining their lead in Serie A and while preparing for the UCL. Meanwhile, Juventus has an advantage because they can focus more on the domestic league.

Inter really won by a 1-0 score but it wasn't easy at all that's for sure. They scored the goal really early in the game thanks to Lautaro Martinez. Fiorentina really did their best after that. Nicolas Gonzalez even missed a penalty which was like the turning point of the game. It must be really devastating for him to miss a penalty a short time after entering the game. Now Inter have captured a really great advantage over Juventus.

I don't know how he could say the Serie A is going to be over that soon just after two games, Juventos is still trying hard, however, they are also losing points and the opportunities they have in Serie A in some games because of the bad performances they have in some games, but Inter Milan is also in the same situation and I think predicting the Serie A wiring in this season is not easy at all with the current situation from both teams.
