Even though they were in 5th place in Serie B, I think they played one of their best games against an Italian giant team. If it wasn't for Dybala's penalty, they might have won the match. Now that they've advanced to the semifinals, it will be better for them because they should take the remaining games seriously; otherwise, it will be very difficult for them to win any trophies this season.

Although Roma has a good coach, it seems like it has been a while since the team qualified for the champion league. They are currently competing in the Europa League. I saw the goal scored by Romelu Lukaku, he used his body as a shield score he could score that goal comfortably. Great finish for the Belgian even if he was already playing badly in that game before he scored.

Not sure what lead to the penalty awarded but it was a great spot kick taken by Paula Dybala as he helped qualified Jose Mourinho and the rest of the lads to the next round.
That said, expecting Napoli to come back up and win the Scudetto is a bad idea, how many points behind are they right now? Has got to be more than ten points. Rudi Garcia didn't do much of a good job so far if we'll accessed.

Whatever happens and how the process goes, the most important thing is that Roma win the match and there are no surprises here and regarding the winning process which is very difficult for them to achieve is quite natural because Jose Mourinho does a lot of rotations so that their players don't get tired and I think what is done by very the coach is quite right and what happens on the field is as it should be.

True story and I have a divided opinion on that. On the one hand I can understand every Napoli fan and everyone else who is pro Napoli that expectations rise when the team plays sensational soccer and wins the title in such a convincing manner that it seemed as if Napoli was the new superpower in the Serie A. On the other hand we have seen these outliers from time to time and more often than not the teams were not able to live up to the newly risen expectations simply because the foundation wasn't there. It was more a case of over delivery when they won the title than living up to their standards.

It would be easier for Roma if goal bar and pillar did not refuse two shots from Pellegrini and El Sharawy. At the end, they won with two goals from Lukaku and Dybala but it's not an easy winning for them. As I mentioned in my previous post, Roma history with that team was not that successful and so far Roma won two and Cremonese won two matches among the four that they played against each other.
Roma were lucky to pass but in reality they missed many opportunities to score and they were able to win without needing to score the penalty..
Roma should improve their gameplay so they can advance further in all competitions.
