When I look at the market capitalization and at my portfolio, I think that I have nothing to lose, so I will not sell in the nearest future
when you sell assets that you have at a price that is still very cheap and is falling as it is now maybe it will make you lose and certainly will make you regret it because it sells at a low price, so you better keep calm and save the assets you have and wait until the cryptocurrency price returns again.
I already sold almost all the assets that I had when Bitcoin began to decline this month. well, but this is not for someone else's example. all decisions are in your hands. I just tried to reduce the losses I got.

yes indeed the assets we hold are our rights, whether to sell now or hodl again. but at least we need to think again if we want to sell now, at least wait until the crypto price starts to rise again.
I also think like that, now is not the right time to sell our assets because the price is very cheap. My advice is better to save the coins until there is a movement in the market that makes us profitable. but it's up to the person who keeps the tokens to sell or not at this time.
Everyone has the principle of crypto that they have, and certainly understand when it's time to sell what they have, I appreciate what you think, but I believe more that investment will always occur in price movements, and there are times when prices fall, but of course there will also be times when prices rise. At some point your right like in checking all the possibilities of your coins/tokens if there is still a chance for the price to get up. Check if this project is still working so if not then let it go and sell it. But don't sell all your long term coins and alt coins who got affected only in this bearish market.

It's time to sell coins that doesn't have any potential, Ico's are a bad choice right now because it's hard to find a good one. almost every ico that I encounter are just frauds and money grabbers.
It's true that no one can force you to sell your altcoins than yourself, it always depends on the need of the holders and it always suggested that to hold our most valued altcoins because we don't know in the future that your holdings will be your asset to become rich.
Never sell your asset and keep hold it until bitcoin and altcoin price growing up, you can keep hold your altcoin or bitcoin but you never hear anything bad news about bitcoin price will be dump, you can take care for invest more at some potential altcoin.

What I'm suggesting here is to take all the tokens and coins you're holding and start reading the whitepaper, check the roadmap, see the team behind that project and how active the developers are is by looking at the GitHub repository. If it's not looking that good, don't think twice, just go and sell regardless of initial buy price because you'll be cutting your losses this way.
I understand that saying "hodl" is nice etc but you should use your brain and don't be blinded by the idea that every useless out there will go to the moon. Only a few are worth investing in so instead of holding random coins, you may want to target something that has been here for a long time and still doing well such as ETH, BTC.

I totally agree with you, mate. To have a real value a coin needs to be adopted and be useful for a reason. But most of the coins are nothing more than pump and dump schemes with a story behind named Whitepaper.
Personally, I won't invest more than 10-15% of my funds in anything else than Btc and Eth. Even these 2 are not used as we would want to, so the price to consolidate, hiw could be the rest used/bought/traded if the overall money in cryto is decreasing every day? We leave different times for crypto.
Personally, I will not sell any of my tokens especially now that price has dropped so low, instead I will buy more because the tokens I'm holding are good.

i do not think that its time to sell okay maybe market is not going well but i am still hopeful that everything is going to be fine again and there is no power that can push me to sell in these conditions.
Everyone will definitely say it's time to buy, yes I do think so too but like the poster indicated,I also think asides looking at all this documents and build ups of this projects to determine whether which to sell or keep, I think we should apply this too to our buy actions now that the market price looks good for buying and not just doing emotionally buying cos the price in down especially for most alts.
