What I'm suggesting here is to take all the tokens and coins you're holding and start reading the whitepaper, check the roadmap, see the team behind that project and how active the developers are is by looking at the GitHub repository. If it's not looking that good, don't think twice, just go and sell regardless of initial buy price because you'll be cutting your losses this way.
I understand that saying "hodl" is nice etc but you should use your brain and don't be blinded by the idea that every useless out there will go to the moon. If you are now talking about the sale of all that was bought on the past ATH, it is not the best option, I tell you. We still have a chance to survive.
The time to sell was in January 2018, now is the time to keep. It is desirable to keep quite confident, otherwise in the near future profits may go out of hand.
We lost huge amount of money because of latest bull market i think people can not sell their tokens with that kind of loss. Yes maybe too many people holding some useless coins but maybe these coins can be puımped in the future. I think hold is better than selling for now. I am holding my coins and i hope i will sell my coins with their high value in the future.

First of all you are considering that everyone can understand the whitepaper!
I believe that more than 90% of investors on the market dont have a clue even what is blockchain. Second, even if they don't understand the white paper, shitcoins that they have bought already fell through the floor so that doesn't matter, and I think that they would make much more damage now panic selling some potential good coins!
The best time to sell a coin is when its price is at least higher than the price when buying. This is the Golden rule for all traders and to holders. I never advise to sell cheaper than bought
Consider fundamentals when selling off your alts. Just because their price is performing poorly doesn't mean you should dump them.
Buying and selling is all up to you. If you think it will give you profit than selling will not be a bad thing.But maybe it us not the perfect time
I am convinced that the time has come to buy. In no case can not sell altcoins. The market is already moving from falling to stability. We can see the growth of coins on the market in 2019.
It is a good time to buy good altcoins rather than selling anything as all coins are available very cheap and everyone is panicking about the market because the market is struggling here from many days and not able to find its support but whenever market found it, you can get decent returns for those buys.
It is a case to case basis, if that's what your post is trying to imply. Hodl is not applicable to all sorts of coins. It means that you should not get all your hopes too high because you might regret not selling the coins earlier. Well, I bet it happened to all of us once. The sad thing about trading is that you will not know what will happen next. It is never a win-win situation. It's always a 50-50. Most of the time the negative prevails.
I agree with digging deeper into the project you are invested for you to be able to decide again if you will cut your loses or stay HODLing.
If you still believe the coin will increase you should hold it back and take a good step by looking at the project development and the usefulness of the project they are making.
