It's even worst , most of the cloud mining services out there turned out to be a scam after sometime so it's not really recommended to use them.
I wouldn't recommend ETHER as-well , probably Bitcoin is the best choice for you . In the last couple of days ETHER dropped with like 200 million $ in Marketcap (from 1billion to 800 million) as you can see here : https://coinmarketcap.com/ , So in my opinion the market manipulation is real.

Ethereum price suffers of a strong change in a price.... and I think it can be a really coins that could compete against btc.

i suggest better u invest in gamble sites...stake the clam on justdice.com or bitdice.com the fiture of this coin for the long term,,,the market price is will going up and u will have a good fiture for that.

Mining isn't really that profitable anymore (depends on the electricity cost) , however Bitcoin it self is considered as long term investment so what I would suggest is buying bitcoins and HODL them then you simply sell them when you feel like the price fits you . (Note that the halving block reward is in July , so you may want to take your decision fast before the price rise) .
