Well I think if it has started to rise so it will keep on rising now as should not lose our hope about this, you have earn 600k as profit so if you will hold your coin for more than 5 years I am sure your profit will be multiplied with 10 so don’t lose opportunity of earning don’t quite, your profit is too high for now as well but leaving will stop your earning from growth.

You have made 600k but you didn’t mention in your local currency or in dollars. If you earn in dollars then you should keep some in crypto and withdraw the rest and invest in some regular business. It will be good because if the price if bitcoin falls more you will be mentally relaxed because of the real world investment. I think real estate investment is better.

The thing is though how could he have predicted the current pattern of the last 6 months? For all we know the market could have spiked up even more and then he would have lost out in that potential gain too. I guess the thing he could have done was to take some profits along the way to make sure that you did get some gains otherwise as you said he'd be down 55% - still not a bad situation considering where he probably started from but not the best position he could have been. Sometimes you sell a coin and instead all it does is ramp up. Timing can be very hard.

PRL is down 95% from january and all other alts too , while bitcoin is down only 55% from january , as you expected to be a millionaire this year if you holded all coins in same way then you must have lose a big amount . i would have quit after making 600k usd and then waited for right time to enter in dip . in that case also i would have invested only 50% because this amount is so huge to invest and take risk for me .

No it is not a good and wise thinking because of you has been using bitcoin since long and the result is that you have won 600k dollar only as profit so just think about it that holding it more and more will make you richest person of the world, if you want some changes just use your bitcoin a few percent to enjoy your life and you can buy what else you want in your life but never sell your bitcoin to switch some other coin.

Yes looking at the date of the post I do wonder what happened to the 600k hit wonder Cheesy

I sincerely hope that he did realise some of the profits so that he survived the crash down after the dizzying highs of the markets - I think it is important that along the way that you do realise some of the profits - all the way back into fiat. Yes there could be potential losses from selling out of the crypto fully but it also means you kept some money aside in your kitty. Anyways this is not financial advice, each to their own and do your research.

This is definitely not the right time to quit. More People are getting used to the crypto experience. I bet you may not make as much as 600K in the same time frame in the corporate world, unless you have a one-in-a-million idea to sell to the world.

It would be interesting to have a follow up post and see how he is doing if he cashed out at the top of the market he could invest only one third of his money to get back his previous holdings and if he really believed in the recovery of the market then he could invest it all and triple his money in just a few years, I would love to be in that position but unfortunately I did not sold at the top so I'm holding my coins until the market recovers.

Well here I think it is not a bad idea to start some other business but it is important to have bitcoin as well, so why don’t you sell 50% of your bitcoin and hold the remaining 50% so as per this selling you will get $300 according to the post so $300 is high enough for you to get start a good business and on the other hand your bitcoin will keep on growing, so use your money from bitcoin unless you will be expired, take your 50% profit, make business, explore the world, travel around the world and enjoy but leave something behind as an investment to grow as well.

For you to have made that much and have not even cashed out a single gain is crazy if you ask me. I will suggest bringing out a little out for yourself at least so you can enjoy a little bit of your work. Remember all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. You dream of millions that's good, but don't wait till you have that before cashing out. You can still cash out and diversify it's even a better way of earning higher.

How did you get to make up to $600,000 from this cryptocurrency biz? Lol, I’m still struggling to make up to a thousand dollars and here you are, just a lucky man. $600,000 in my country currency is a very huge amount of money and if I’m to make such an amount of money from Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency I would probably call it a quit.

But we are both from different locations, so you should make that decision yourself. If you believe that there is the possibility that you can make extra gain, then you can continue.

idk for other currencies from the list, but i know that Oyster went quite high. But this is a post from 09 January if it is not sold so far this portfolio now worth around 20-30k

From what we are seeing after the post was created, the trading business for crypto is more harder than the previous year, the corrections and the downtrend movements are still being felt though we are seeing small rise but we still need to be careful and keep our earnings safe, if I made that
much money by now, I'll quit and enjoy a life placing alternative businesses from where am I now.
