Well,  I am waiting for it to be deployed on GHASH.IO servers.

Without it being deployed there, it'll just be an interesting curiosity.

I have to agree there.  No update will mean anything unless it's fully implemented.

At least we can add the Counterparty feature without the help for CEX cause it looks like that feature may take a while longer.

CEX is finally coming in very handy.  Not many coins can claim that yet IXC price is still in the toilet.

I totally agree, Ahmed did an excellent job and at record speed.

I'm gonna donate some IXC to the third address Ahmed posted and I suggest any community members that can afford to do so and feel like it to follow suit.  This 9.2 update was a lot of work, much more than any other update.

Cheers!

Ahmed_Bodi,

Excellent job, brother.  I'm really impressed as well.  Very nice to have a fast, skilled coder around here.

Hi Ahmed,

AFAIK, Nasakioto has eventually paid all the promised bounties.

I don't want to diminish the value of what you have done so far, simply highlight what Nasakioto is expecting:

Hi all,

I'm offering a 50K IXC bounty for anyone who updates the Ixcoin client to Bitcoin Core 0.9.2.1 and compiles it for Mac, Windows, Linux 32/64 + Ubuntu PPA.

I sent him an email and a PM, with the aim to draw his attention on what you have already done.

Yep i know. Windows is done (apart from logos as afaik you guys were running a logo competition right?) Linux the source code is there. Its impossible to provide binaries really as people still have to install dependencies such as QT. Mac will be compiled soon(When i get confirmation on logo's). Ubuntu PPA is almost done

Well the win client and source code is there. Blow yourself away

The source code that is checked in is giving me this:

Assertion failed: (hashGenesisBlock == uint256("0x00000007199508e34a9ff81e6ec0c477a4cccff2a4767a8eee39c11db367b008")), function CTestNetParams, file ./chainparams.cpp, line 163.

Let me know when all the source code has been checked in.

Thanks!

Which branch?

and I assume that donation funds were used for hosting then?

You're a reasonable guy and have done alot for the community and def made your mark on ixcoin, would you consider donation control of the website to a community member such as deadsea?

A majority of funds that were sent to that address were for bounties paid.   There were probably some change sent on occassion, but certainly not substantial.

C'mon ... when I got interested in this coin in February/March I sent to the donation address 5000 IXC as I thought they were going to the development, and soon after I sent you another 5000 IXC for CP. It was before I realized that there were nothing that could expected from you to deliver, and I thereby lost my interest in the coin.

Now that there seems to be actually a competent coder, I suggest that you take your cut out of that 10000 IXC for the work done since March, and send the rest (if any) to Ahmed. Please announce here how much (if any) you sent to Ahmed.

I got no issue sending the 5,000 IXC that you donated for IXC to Ahmed once I can verify that he has a working 0.9.2 version.

No code delivered no pay.

Frictionless needs to return all the coins since he never even gave a single status update in 5 months or people should start giving him negative ratings.
