Right, I've read about a third of this thread now, I read enough of both ends of it to convince me to get in. What interested me in IXC? Vlad. Seen him on different threads, to me, he makes a lot of sense. It would have been unwise to ignore his signature and not check it out. So I'm in.
So there's a website needed? Can the guy who's offering his services post a link to his previous work? Not to doubt his skills, but I'm thinking this coin needs a shit hot website.
Anyone have any ideas what that will cost? Even a ballpark estimate?
I really appreciate your vote of confidence but right now, after we pay for the most recent Counterparty update, our budget will be drained.
I can try doing another fund raiser but really, for the next 30-90 days we just need something that functions and doesn't burn retinas.
I do agree we need a "Shit-Hot" website but that will cost a lot. I'm hoping within the next 90 days things will improve and then we will have the funds to do anything we please.
So until then, whatever skills anybody has which they wish to share, would be greatly appreciated.
Regards...
Skills? Well, I'm not a dev, or able to build a website, I'm not from a tech background I'm afraid. I'm just an ideas guy. I'm kind of up to speed now, some of the finer technical points were a bit beyond my understanding, but I get the idea. I'll probably have to read up a bit more though!
What kind of stage are you at with the update, is it being worked on, or still deciding the best course of action?
Has anyone given any thought to sidechains and if they could be implemented? Because anything BTC can do.... well, you know the rest.
And is there any chance of getting the .org from Thomas? I read further back that that it will need renewing soon.
And if funds are low, what is it that's needed? What's the priority? I only mentioned the website because that other guy was knocking it, and this coin does need a good website purely to do it justice. I wouldn't have a clue how to build a website, so the ones that you've got are far better than anything I could create. I think you want to want to create an image though, build the IXC brand. Think of the potential market cap, think about the kind of investors coming in. A good looking product is the easy to sell.
