I am interested in one thing, maybe you can give me the correct information. When Jambler is under planned maintenance, does this affect all their partners? Or the service is functional in the background?
First, because Jambler resells to them the coins it receives through short-term user deposits, thus providing them with liquidity.

Quote
Why is it profitable for me to use Jambler.io for investment?

Firstly, we have a stable demand for transactions from stock exchanges for which we are ready to pay a bounty. Jambler.io constantly purchases output transactions from Bitcoin stock exchanges and provides a bonus of 1% for that. An average time of return on investment is 12 hours. Secondly, our business model is transparent. It demonstrates clearly from which funds Jambler.io pays commission fees to sellers/investors.

To eliminate risks of getting a cryptocurrency of questionable origin, all investor Bitcoins are checked by the platform scoring system, including blockchain analysis. Transactions which have passed the check, get into the system and transaction which have failed the check, are returned to a customer from the same wallet. This stage makes it possible to terminate attempts of unfair investors to use an investment admittance as a mixer in order to clear their money and gain profit at the same time. Jambler.io does not capitalize on return of cryptocoins which haven’t passed the scoring check, it is a necessary security measure.

Why the platform scoring system needs to receive BTC, hold it for some time, deduct 0.02% and a commission fee of 0.0001 BTC and then send back to withdrawal wallet? Can't it just ask for the sending address, check and confirm before actually receiving the coins?

Also, from their FAQ, it seems they only accept coins originating from either of the following exchanges...

Quote
3.8 What are stock exchanges supported?

Poloniex, Binance, Korbit, Bitfinex, Bitstamp, Pbit, GDAX, Okcoin, Kraken, Gemini, BTCC, CEX.IO, itBit, Simex, Lakebtc, Exmo, Bitbay, Livecoin.

I would like to know if Jambler.io will accept coins received from erstwhile LocalBitcoins?

Hello everyone, I don't understand how the mixing system works on Jambler. Where do we deposit the BTC? Because I see a section with partners who seem to understand how to mix very clearly, how can I know if they are trustworthy? Thank you.

You didn't say clearly what exactly you want to do.
If you want to mix your coins, then choose one of Jambler's partners. (Don't hesitate to check them before use). You can't mix coins directly on Jambler.
If you want to be an investor in the Jambler service, go to https://jambler.io/sign-in.php register (must have a Telegram account) and follow the steps.

Nah, icopress is right, most people would take Bitcoin payment if they had the option to choose, but Jambler can have multiple winners and different rewards Wink
In that case, just offer the physical items and make it clear that those are the only rewards. Then it's very simple. If you take part in the raffle, you are interested in having said items shipped somewhere, meaning you'll give the Jambler people an address. Alternatively, you can give up your spot to someone else, but then it's worth asking, why would you even participate if you have a problem giving out your address? Let others play and do something else...

Regarding raffles with physical prizes I have an idea in mind, but I am unsure if it can be done... I am thinking about some coins made by casascius or Kialara. Or, why not, coins made by smoothie, so some Lealana coins... Such coins are very rare and I did not see them used as prizes in any raffle (raffles organized by other projects, that is). So maybe such prizes would be very unique.
I can also arrange a deal to create unique Jambler limited edition collectible open source cards and hardware wallets, if people are interested in that.
Jay Johanson can PM me if he is interested in doing something like that, and we can talk more about design and quantity.
Unique Jambler design will be guaranteed Wink

Jambler could organize raffles that include real physical items for those users willing to accept them and have them shipped either to their home address, their place of work, a PO box, etc. But if the winner doesn't want to give away their personal information, which some don't want to do, the alternative could be to offer the same value of the physical item in BTC. Both types of winners can get a prize that way.

But it doesn't work. If there is such a loophole, then everyone will give preference to prizes in Bitcoin.
Perhaps. It will greatly depend on the type of physical prize we are talking about and, of course, the person who wins it. If we go back to the Bitcointalk Community Awards from the last couple of years, we had winners who accepted the physical gifts and gave out their addresses and those who didn't. If it's an interesting item the winner wants to own, they might do it. For example, a rare BTC coin or a hardware wallet they were thinking about purchasing anyways.

Finally, if no prizes will be paid out in bitcoin, the rules of the competition should make it clear that only users who have no problems to have the items shipped to their location can participate. So, if you don't want to, then don't play.

I really liked what NotATether does: Run A Bitcoin Node: 14 Days To 14 Merits I think Jambler would agree to sponsor this.

Hi all! We have seen how some projects organize raffles. Would you like to see something similar from us?

Thank you for being interested about this matter, Jay Johanson. It is very kind of you to take into consideration such possibility. Indeed, some projects organized raffles in past months and all users interested in collectibles appreciated the prizes. some were very nice items (cards, hardware wallets). At same time, as you see in other replies, some forum members would prefer prizes in BTC, for preserving their privacy.

My opinion on this is, besides the fact that it would be a very nice gesture, that you can try make some raffles with prizes in physical items but also raffles involving only BTC prizes. Maybe make a raffle with a physical prize, then one with BTC prize and so on. Of course, the budget matters a lot, and only you can know what budget you have at disposal.

Again, the budget is crucial, but I hope my ideas will help.

Raffles are great, especially if reward is going to be Bitcoin.
I have nothing against raffles with physical items (hardware wallets, cards, etc) as reward, but many forum members don't want to participate because they want to protect their identity and personal information.
There is no shipping, delivery or customs issues with Bitcoin Wink

It would be logical if Jambler did not organize a raffle with physical prizes. Even partners or investors are completely anonymous because all communication is via telegram (bot). I don't expect them to violate anyone's privacy because of the raffle, even if it was through an intermediary.
If it were to happen, Bitcoin as a reward is probably the best solution.

Hi all! We have seen how some projects organize raffles. Would you like to see something similar from us?
Yes, it will be interesting to see. Would love to see creative giveaways when privacy protection is a must at the same time.

also too many more than curios mailmen lately, we actually made a complain to the postal office since we caught one on cameras really interacting with the envelopes before pushing them in the boxes.
Your neighborhood got a surprise. I am used to that, DHL constantly hires immigrants, some of them are really good people who work because of poverty in their country but some of them try to steal things from your parcels.

Ledger is a famous company in its line of business. Hackers and scammers had incentives to attack them, trying to retrieve as much of data as possible. Jambler is a popular brand, but it operates differently.
I hope Jambler won't give away free Ledger wallets because Ledger is a shady company and no one is guaranteed to have a secure wallet with them. Their recent Ledger Recover scandal is more than enough proof to not use their wallet.

I would just participate for the fun, probably if I would win a tangible thing I would just open a raffle myself or give it to the second placed, I've also began to be a bit on edge about sharing the address especially after that Ledger fiasco where I got extremely lucky.

Jambler is a popular brand, but it operates differently. It doesn't deal with millions of end clients like Ledger does. Shipping out physical items and storing client data in the millions isn't part of Jambler's business model. One should always be careful who they give their personal information to, but it's different in this case. Plus, most countries have PO boxes you could probably use for such cases.

it's a good way to promote the project and spread the visibility here in the forum
we from Icarus have collaborated with two other projects in the past, who then free raffled their own cards here in the forum
if you are interested, we will be happy to help you Smiley

Why not? Who doesn't want a raffle, especially if it is free raffle?

Exactly, who doesn't want free stuff??

The only thing that I would ask for would be bit more time open to take part in it, for some of the raffles that are decided on block hash it's like 5 minutes and all the spots are taken or you don't even wake up completely and you seen two completed while brushing your teeth.

If it is the sending of products, many are reluctant to participate, for privacy reasons. But even so, it is still a good way to promote the brand.

Why not? Who doesn't want a raffle, especially if it is free raffle? Setting up free raffle here in bitcointalk is cool way to involve the community without them needing to spend any cryptocurrency. You can giveaway prize and let people join by leaving post or comments on your thread or by doing something like sharing the post on social media. Just be sure to explain the rules and who can enter and follow the forum's guidelines to avoid any problems.

Jambler is undergoing scheduled maintenance.

We have long delayed the implementation of some new features related to our security system. And at the moment we are working on a more advanced system for validating transactions of our investors. As a result, our partners' end users will receive as purified Bitcoins as possible in the future.

The platform will return to normal mode when all technical work is completed.
