How to use "quote"?
In Japan, we need enginneers who can speak English and Japanese.

Weak yen give us profit. Exports increase. And yen is controlled by Bank of Japan. If yen was out of controll... that should'nt occur.
Although there are many anxietiy about the future (decreasing children, a pension, salary, etc), I don't think yen falls such as RUR.

The confidence for Japanese Yen is strong, so most of Japanese don't think they should buy risky bitcoin.
It's amazing, and sad.  Because so many will be hurt so badly by this misplaced confidence.  There is no reason for the yen to be strong, and every reason to flee it.  But, as you point out, historically those betting against the yen have been badly burnt.  Sadly that was the wrong lesson.

I live in Japan and love it here, but I wonder what is going to happen in the next few years.  The elderly are squeezing the life blood out of the economy and the young people, just so they can take pensions and health care whose cost they only paid about 20% of.  They want the young to pay the rest, when those same young people have no hope of anyone paying for them.

It's only a matter of time until they revolt.  Anyone with long term savings in yen and belief in the system is going to suffer massive losses.  I hope it happens sooner, as those who should be losing out are the elderly who supported the corrupt system, not the young who were just handed their fate.

Is confidence in the Yen going down at all? I heard that the central bank recently started increasing inflation a lot.
Yeah, now central bank of Japan is spreading  many many Yen.

In Japan, the reason for having bitcoin is speculation or investment (most of Japanese don't like it very much), not using in daily life.
Moreover there were too many bad news, like Mt.gox, bitstamp, etc.
Many people cannot understand the  technology of bitcoin, and why bad news were occured.
They are thinking bitcoin is like Enten(円天) , which was the pseudo money
created by company which cheated many people in Japan.

But I believe that bitcoin will make many innovations, like bitcoin 2.0.
Investment, or adjusting economic parameters (i.e. adjusting amount of money, rate of intests, etc)
make someone happy, but others unhappy.
Only innovations  make everyone happy. Cheesy
Nobody will igonore what will make them happy.

The Bitcoin price is very volatile right now, so most people shouldn't invest much money in it.

Besides, almost of Japanese Internet user (including me) have "monacoin". This is more popular than bitcoin.
"Ask Mona", a forum for monacoin is always excited. I think these are why bitcoin is not expanded in Japan.

That's too bad. Monacoin is basically exactly the same as Bitcoin, but without Bitcoin's extremely competent developers and established ecosystem.

I still don't have any confidence with English. Could I express myself?

Your English is mostly understandable, so you could probably post to the main English sections. I think that there also are a few native Japanese people around here.

There is a local forum in japan, you mean?
Of course yes
. In 2ch( it is one of the largest BBS in japan), people talk about bitcoin, altcoin, and ripple.
Almost Japanese including me don't use English, so many of us don't post in this forum (but we read it).
