Dope! Thanks for doing this! Adding these sigs (and your link) to the second post. Thanks for your contribution!
Thanks for doing this! Seems like a great idea and opportunity!

Welcome. Good luck!
Nice initiative I must say. Unfortunately, I can't join this as I have recently joined a paid signature campaign run by yahoo, but I also want to contribute something to the cause. So maybe I can give 1 Merit (as per my capacity) per week to a runner up or winner on your direction. I will keep doing this until I run out of sMerits (I have 6 remaining right now).
Let me know if you are willing to accept my small contribution to your service.
Good luck, and keep up the good work, all of you!
Cheers.
Thank you for wanting to contribute, but I would rather you save your sMerit and merit posts that you find worthy, rather than donating them at this time. Maybe once you rank up and earn some more merits, you'd like to opt in to donate merits again? Let me know what you think

Welcome. You've been added to the challenge. Good luck!
Nice initiative, although I think it's a bit ironic OP has a paid signature.
Kidding, we both know the ChipMixer signature is a
badge of honor for post quality.
I was considering using my own signature from this thread, but I came to the same conclusion: the ChipMixer signature is a badge of honor and holds some of the best participants throughout the forums; thus I've decided to keep it.
From now on, I'll be on the lookout for signatures that say "I'm part of a movement to make the forums better.". If I agree with the quality of the post, I'll Merit it.
Can I sponsor a
consolation prize of 2 Merit for the best Newbie or Jr. Member who doesn't get any other prize? I still have enough sMerit (and applied to become a
Merit source a month ago). If I ever run out of sMerit,
LoyceBot has 4 sMerit left so I can still cover 2 weeks before I have to withdraw my "sponsorship".
You can absolutely sponsor a consolation prize! I'll be sure to add the rank and reward to the top post, along with the stipulation that only Newbies & Jr. Members are eligible to win the consolation prize. Please just let me know whenever you run out of sMerit so that I can update the second post. Thanks for taking part in this and become a merit sponsor, LoyceV!
PS
I may have invited

Oh boy, I might as well just rename this thread to "
nullius' donation thread"
For anyone reading this, check out nullius'
post history. THIS is what you're up against. If you guys don't step it up, you're going to lose every week to this fella.
But in all seriousness, I may honestly just create a separate "nullius" category and merit him that way in order to give others a chance to clean up their posts and/or contribute to a healthier forum. nullius hardly needs the merits, and will have no issues meeting the merit requirements for ranking up all the way to Legendary. The notion behind this challenge was to help reward members of the forums for creating more meritorious posts rather than shitposts and spamposts. I honestly don't know how I will approach this, as users may get discouraged from participating if they know that nullius will win week after week. I hope you don't take offense, nullius; consider it a compliment that the level of quality of your posts is so high that it worries me that others won't have a chance to win
