It is amazing. Same goes for some of the other things I have seen on JD.

Poor impulse control.
Investors breakdown spreadsheets.  Also includes charts on supplementary tabs (x-y scatter and pie chart)

I find it interesting how there are over 700 investors, but over 50% of the bankroll is held by 7 investors.  And 75% of the bankroll is from 38 investors.  90% from 103 investors.

Feel free to suggest improvements.

Probably Pareto distributed, as are many random variables related to value ownership.

Thanks for the charts.

I don't think it's surprising that there are a small number of large investors, and a large number of small ones.  That's how most things tend to be.  Look at a plot of bank balances, bitcoin address balances, incomes, or pretty much anything else wealth related and you'll see the same pattern over and over.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Whatever, luckily won an 11x (mistyped 1.1x) today, so the losses are all eaten up... for now. (I'll lose it back slowly, one bit at a time)

Last week was a pretty good one for investors, with the site profiting over 1000 BTC:

It has been pointed out before that shortly after the end of each week the site takes a big high hit.  While not really true, it has been true the last two weeks, with this week's being particularly sudden:

This would give me a more constant exposure to the wins and losses and reduce the luck aspect we now see in investing. Another benefit is that the max profit would stay more constant than now.

I'm not sure about that.  I think if it became popular for people to use the feature, it would cause bigger swings in the max profit.  Whenever any new investment came in, lots of existing investors would automatically increase their investment to keep the same percentage, magnifying the effect on max profit of the new investment.  And conversely, and divestment would immediately be followed by a bunch of automatic divestment by people aiming to keep the same percentage of the now smaller bankroll.

Also, does it make any sense to want to be a certain percentage of the bankroll?  I don't really see how it does.  You're risking up to 0.5% of your investment each roll no matter how many others are invested.

Hey Doog I'm going to wanna get out ~50 tom if you're around.

50 BTC shouldn't be a problem, so long as the hot wallet hasn't been emptied before you try.

I'm going to be offline for a while tomorrow, so it's possible the hot wallet will be empty for some of the day, but I'll try to top it up when I can get online.

Yeah.  Sorry those are my funds.  I was in a coffee shop playing dice.  While I was off for a bathroom break somebody used my laptop and deposited 2000 bitcoins in a brand new Just-Dice account.  I didn't realize it until after I had cleared my cookies and lost the secret link.

Could you just send them to my other account?  I don't remember that one either but I can make a new one if necessary.

I don't mind waiting till you get back.

Jokes, right?

I'll have access to the cold wallet on Monday or Tuesday (tomorrow or the next day) and will then fill any withdrawal requests.

Although with the way the site profit has been going up up up recently, why would you want to withdraw?

Hey Dooglus,

I've been an investor since late June and don't change the amount I have invested that much. One thing that bothers me is that other people to a certain extent control the % I own of the bankroll. (by them making withdrawals and investments)

I was thinking of a feature you could maybe implement, where I make an investment of lets say 100 BTC, keep another 100 BTC as a balance and check a box where it says I would like to keep the % I own of the bankroll as constant as possible (let's say 0.25%), investing automatically the BTC from my balance when this percentage goes down and divesting when it goes up.

This would give me a more constant exposure to the wins and losses and reduce the luck aspect we now see in investing. Another benefit is that the max profit would stay more constant than now.
